Alioski deal apparently done. With the news coming through about the buy back of Elland Road, the Radrizanni era continues to be a barrel load of good news (so far). Keep it up! P.S. Saiz due to sign by Monday at the latest.

More links with Mateusz Klich doing the rounds today. Midfielder currently at FC Twente. Priced at around £2m. One to keep an eye on.

initial bid rejected but we are expected to complete the move before too long. The player is said to be keen.

Daniel Ayala linked with a possible move to us from Boro. Feels like a good fit. We definitely need help at CB and might help us to move on from the likely disappointment over Bartley.

Ayala would be a class signing, he's better than Bartley tbh. Championship toty 2015/16.

2.) 18 Jun 2017 20:30:11
I said 2 years ago when boro made the play off final we n any team that's going to get promoted needs a leader like Ayala, then to my horror he was linked a cpl weeks ago to the wendies n I had to admit to a wednesdayite I work with that he is class, now we are linked with him please Raz do all you can to get him, the pilot 👩‍✈️ ant Ayala together would be class 👊🏻

3.) 19 Jun 2017 13:22:27
I agree, been a fan of Ayala for a while now, especially at Championship level. Fear for what kind of partnership he'd make with Pontus though, both can be abit rash, but on their days far too good for Championship.

How the hell is ayala better than Bartley lol just because it looks like he won't join again you think Ayala is better lol jokes

Slightly disturbing footnote to an article I read earlier on Charlie Taylor. Apparently we will only receive a tribunal fee if he moves to another English club. Rumour has it that some Scottish clubs are now showing an interest. If I've understood things correctly that would mean we would get the grand sum of £0 if he heads North of the border. Burnley still the current favourite to get him. If we get £5m I'll be happy enough. Good riddance.

turkey_ni

{Ed001's Note - you still get a fee, but it is only a small fee if he goes to Scotland, I forget how much now, but it is less than a million.}

1.) 22 Jun 2017 17:05:09
Just read this myself. We could get well and truly shafted if he goes to Celtic. Appreciate that there would be a fee but only nominal as Ed points out. MM

2.) 22 Jun 2017 18:17:40
What's to stop him going to any Scottish club for £1m and they sell straight away to say West Bromwich for £2m. Therefore they get for him for £3m less than they would from us!

3.) 22 Jun 2017 18:48:57
Celtic? Scottish league? He obviously like to test himself against some of the best attacking players in the world 😂

4.) 22 Jun 2017 18:52:06
Not as though we are personally sharing the fee though, so I won't lose any sleep over it. If he wants to play in Scotland good luck with that

5.) 22 Jun 2017 18:59:48
I smell a conspiracy theory Danum! MM

6.) 22 Jun 2017 19:24:31
Oh yes MM. And we love a conspiracy theory 😁. I don't think JFK's death was any accident either

7.) 22 Jun 2017 20:04:48
Oh no! I didn't even know Jimmy Floyd Kasslebank had died! 😱

8.) 23 Jun 2017 00:09:28
When did jim die? How? Where? Who did it?

9.) 23 Jun 2017 03:09:10
Think I saw figures as low as £350k if he goes Scotland side. Luckily, if the rumour mill is to be believed, he is set to trade in the small market town of Leeds for the heady bright city lights of Burnley (so big fee, yay) . at least he got out of going to the tiny fishing village of Liverpool with his end of season antics.

10.) 23 Jun 2017 11:43:07
I know Celtic are a great club, with great history, and European football, but it's not quite like playing premier league, is it? He'd be better staying with us for another couple of seasons, until we're back in the big time, surely?

11.) 23 Jun 2017 14:47:26
Really bright? Would you?

12.) 24 Jun 2017 21:46:50
Of course I would Aus; but that because I'm Leeds til I die!

Sounds good to me. We badly need to strengthen at the back. Assuming the deal goes through, we should reinvest the Taylor money in trying to get a Bartley deal done. If we get both Ingason and Barts in that's a really solid central defence tied up. We especially need cover for the likely scenario where Big Pontus is suspended!

Supposedly it was Monk who suggested Klich to the Leeds hierarchy before his departure, so not surprising if he stuck a late bid in. Hopefully he (Klich) proves to be a gem. At €1.5m we aren't breaking the bank to find out.

Heard absolutely nothing on these two of late. Perhaps with the new management team now on board, its a case of different strokes for different folks.

I'd be surprised if he were to come to Leeds. The Cypriot league is much slower paced than the Championship, largely due to the heat. Unlikely that anyone linked to APOEL will be a natural fit for us. Still, it's nice to at least be linked to a striker. Any more word on Leigh Griffiths? I guess his recent free kick exploits for Scotland bumped up his price.

Hope so! My major concern would be the lack of Championship experience, although judging from what I've been reading today that he came to the interview with a full on presentation of the entire squad's strengths and weaknesses I'm very encouraged. Ultimately it'll be results that'll define whether he's classed as a success or a failure, but for now we should all get behind him. MOT.
