Strange match, thought we were going to be slaughtered and at HT i was FARKE needs to be sacked tonight, but then to be fair he changed things and looked much better
Many of us have touted a back 3 and 2 up top and we looked dangerous.
He has nothing to lose now, sacking looks inevitable but go out with a bang.

Yeah. Totally confused by that.
All of a sudden he changes his habits of a lifetime. Desperation I suppose. Suddenly ok with hurting arrensons feelings and getting of his backside pre 70 min subs.
First half same same. Embarrassing performance.

Second half gave it a go and played well.
But still nil points right and if spam and forest win daylight between us.
See what formation he picks for next game. Not sure if 5-3-2 is the answer but it nearly worked. That time.

Hmmmm, quite a game of 2 halves MB. The big question has to be, where did those changes come from? DF has never shown any interest in tinkering, playing 3 at the back or 2 up front. Can't ever remember him making subs at half time. So, all of a sudden, all those changes at once.

Then in his presser being very defensive about those changes and whether it's the way forward. Was it DF, the players or a. n. other who instigated it. Clearly it shows we are a more balanced threatening team in that formation so why was it never tried before?

With all due respect, DF has had 2 seasons in championship and 12 games in premiership never changed system never had a Plan B and BA was never dropped to my knowledge, now he changes and suddenly he is the man to do the business, my opinion he needs to go and go now.

I watched the game, and to be fair the first half we were battery a far superior team, so not sure we can blame Farke for that. The 2nd half he made changes, which nullified City somewhat and lifted the players, particularly with the early goal.

I am equally frustrated by DF and some of his selections and subs, but I don't believe changing the manager will help right now. They are clearly playing for him, he does need to adapt, but based on what I saw yesterday I feel this team is good enough to stay up.

Points of frustration for me are as follows.
Not clinical in the final 3rd.
The goalkeeper is not good enough, bring Darlow back.
Make changes earlier (which was clearly effective yesterday)
The players are the ones on the pitch, and they need to step up consistently.

Darlow wasn't even on bench yesterday is he injured?

Vid, DF clearly reads Leeds banter! It’s taken him a while to be proactive, but it does show that sometimes changing his tactics works. We gave ourselves a mountain to climb, but almost salvaged a draw. The dreaded injury time concession of a goal again did us once more. Every team and every game is different, so mix it up a bit Daniel. It works.

Is he going to share his wages Clarke? Cause he is clearly clueless on his own. Never known such a poor excuse for prem manager. He should be saying in his pre game presso. Help please.

Thing is for me, the starting line up was the line up many of the armchair managers had been screaming for, e. g. no Aaronson and James and Gnonto starting. I posted on the BBC that fortunately Farke could see what a disaster that was v City. Hard to say what it would be like v "lesser" teams, but for sure it didn't work yesterday.

It's great from the side lines screaming for different tactics, when you just don't have the players to execute them. Our best first 11 is pretty limited if we are brutally honest, so options to the manager are limited in my opinion. James can play one way. run hell for leather to the corner and then get a cross in [10% of the time], usually 10 yards behind the rest of the team who eventually catch up!

The 2nd half worked yesterday because City's defence is poor, but I would continue with and have been advocating two up front for a while. Not sure it's the right tactics v Chelsea, but it might unsettle Liverpool, who's defence is as ropey as City's.

I predict City will win as many trophies as Leeds this season and I'm gonner stick with that prediction [for Baz, I know he's reading! ].

Aus, it never ceases to amaze me what all his sidemen do and think? Instead of just nodding and agreeing with him, it would be nice if they can have a quiet word in his ear once in a while and tell him to wise up and try something different.

Change it about a bit please. No lone striker every game, no 70th minute substitution every game and maybe you could council BA.
