I wonder if our pursuit of a striker/ 10/ forward might look something like this in the waning days of the window.

Make 'noises' about being in for Delap when we aren't really unless the price drops dramatically. Reality he might land at Everton or Forest.

Whichever of those teams who 'win' the Delap sweepstakes ewill have someone to offload. Beto, Chris Wood or Kalimuendo. We also could be looking at 10/ wide options, particularly on loan.

So our options expand a little to

Wood (Delap contingent (DC) ) Buy
Kalimuendo (DC) - Forest would push for sale, hope for loan
Beto (DC) - last yr of contract, cheap sub £10m buy
Woltemade - if he doesn't return to Germany loan, very unlikely, but seems a very Farke player.
Mudryk - (opportunistic loan to regain fitness and value)
Marc Guiu - slightly forgotten Chelsea striker below Delap loan, Chelsea would possibly try to force an option/ obligation. Can't loan both Guiu and Mudryk.
Flemming - preferred buy from the Championship.
Demirovic - Linked a few times.

I think Delap is the chain. Bit of a ramble.

Guiu for me, with an option to buy or Fleming. No way Forest will part with Wood. If Everton were getting rid Beto for 10mill, Leeds would defo be all over that.
