A definitely NO on Wilson. Again, I think Bielsa can do something with James, but price has got to be no more than £15m.

I’m not saying I particularly rate mason mount either but at derby (although I didn’t watch them much ) I would say Wilson seemed the better player but hasn’t had the same opportunities as mount got. Given some Bielsa coaching I see no reason he won’t become a very good player.

Loveaway, I thought the same as you about Mount and Wilson when they were at Derby.

However, I think we should be looking at bringing in players who improve the 1st XI and creating a better bench by dropping down the original starters

We saw that with Rodrigo replacing Henandez and Raphinha replacing Costa.

I might be being a bit controversial here, as Harrison has only just signed permanently, but James would be a very competitive option to Raphinha and Harrison and not a guaranteed benchwarmer. That's how I would like to spend the money we have. I have similar thoughts regarding Adama Traore if it was him we spent big on.

I like the fact we are linked with players of the quality of Nandez and de Paul. That is what we need to be looking at for midfield. Guys who are better than Klich and Dallas, not one who will just be as competitive. Dallas and Klich from the bench gives us massive upgrades on last year.
