Is it time we cut our losses with Firpo as the LB/ LWB and embraced Firpo the centre forward? I can't be the only one impressed with the way he gets into positions up and there and his aerial threat with the goals against Sheffield United and WBA, and damn near scoring twice today. Among all the other disappointments in the game, I couldn't help but love the idea of it. I think he's played there once or twice for the national team.

Or conversely, do we think he's good because of the surprise factor of the Lb getting up there and it wouldn't be that effective.

Firpo as 10, Schmidt as LB. Schmidt is fast, clever and quick with his feet. It's absolutely criminal that he doesn't get more game time.

Firps does just have a natural knack for getting into the right position at the right time, and is very good in the air attack wise too!
