Definitely šÆ can play 10, also good forā¦

AO letās gooooo!
On a serious note, AO brings/ adds tempo and pace, goals and not surprisingly when either AO or Namecheck are missing from the team, we are slow and predictable.
We MUST play with pace and conviction every game, as if every game is our FA cup final, when we do that, we will have enoughā¦.
Always bearing in mind that even 5% less performance and youāre back at those dreadful Brighton and Forest away performances.
Daniel has turned the oil tanker around, but go of course against Brentford and itās just as difficult to get the tanker back on track.?

I think he could Bri. Heās also a good striker of a ball. Definitely has the ability. What about Willy G? Linking with the front two. He can also strike a decent shot. Just needs to stay fit.

Did anyone think that gnonto chose not to kick the ball to draw the penalty? He looked like he was about to cross it but then changed his mind.

Always liked Willy, really hope we keep him, I think he could be massive for us, he terrifies defenders, a box of tricks and you can see they ain't sure how to deal with him and scared to give away fouls.

An unbelievable atmosphere last night. Mistakes yes, to give them a two goal lead, and iffy defending to give them the lead again, but what fantastic commitment and desire to come back and get a well earned point. The players have bought into this new system and it is working for us.
Stach was my MOM with everyone contributing. A big shout out to Arronson, AO, and Gnonto for making the difference when they came on. Let's keep this going next week at Brentford and pick a few more points up over the festive season.

Stach is a new man under this system. He badly underperformed in the previous 6-8 games. All of them have upped their game with new formation.
I thought pool shaded it and threw away the win.
But we dug in and kept fighting. Thatās the main thing. And the point.

Good points Feath and Aus.
And to think that a couple of weeks ago had we gone two down it would have been curtains but there's a new found desire and energy within the players.
It's great to see - keep it up lads, we are all behind you .

Everyone keeps on about all the poor performances being DF fault, maybe it's just taken the new players longer to bed in.
It more likely alongside the formation tweaks, the hard work and coaching at the training ground is now starting to bear fruit.

I think the change in formation has def helped. I had the feeling that the whole team were baffled by the previous negative defensive tactics. Now itās changed every man and his brother are under for it and giving it a go.

Change of tactics have certainly improved our performance's but taken 2 and a bit years to happen, pleased for DF but still confused why the blindingly obvious to virtually all on here took so long to be implemented.

To be fair Farke changed back to his favourite formation after the hour mark and it worked wonders. Nice to have different ways of playing and DF has finally cottoned on to it.

Their second goal was offside.
Our third goal, van dijk complained to the ref about a handball, trying to get the goal disallowed. The hand ball was commited by a Liverpool player, whose hope of deflection actually landed it at the feet of AO.
Without that deflection the ball goes out.
Womp womp.

Yep. Dug in deep there. Silly errors and lacklustre defending. Certainly not the level we reached v Chelsea. But at 2-0 I thought we were done. Well done lads for never say die attitude. Good job.
It defies belief the sudden change in team performance, players performance and fares too.
Stick with it. Keep the passion and pride and play your hearts out each week. Thatās all I want to see. Win, lose or draw.

Yesterday's turnround was more about attitude and individual performances than intricacies of formation. We started as 3:5:2 and went 2 down, so on come Willie, BA and Ao for Okafor, Gruev and Bijol and suddenly we're more a 4:3:3 and get back to all square. Then we go behind again, bring on Piroe for Amps and Bornauw for Bogle and level it up again at 3 apiece.
This was more about desire and will to win than anything else, put bluntly we wanted it more than them and everyone played a part. If we can retain that team attifude going forward we'll be just fine. Onwards and upwards MOT š
PS I've said before our pressing need is for a No10/ AM, just maybe Ao could be the one to do that.

Great to see Ao Tanaka finally moving out of those low gears he was in.
Such a bright hard working young footballer who is so enthused and wants to better himself. This is on Farke and his coaching staff, I believe theyāve worked hard on him so that he would adapt to the very high levels of the Premiership and now it looks like he is turning that corner.
Tanaka is a huge asset to the squad and I can only see him improving all the time.
I just hope he wants to stay with us for as long as possible.

We have a midfielder who looks capable of holding his own in this league, it's a notoriously tough league to acclimatise to, so I expect him to get more comfortable the more he plays.

Iām sorry Aus but focusing on the games is something your good self and others have been very much the contrary to.
Since the season started and over the summer itās been a pretty constant onslaught of bashing our coach Daniel Farke, relentless in fact and itās been posters like me Bright, Ani and others have to read this everyday.
All good that that is your opinion, but donāt be surprised when calling us childish, there is a strong reaction to it.
Especially when it looks like we are now turning a corner in moving forward with a little gap from the relegation zone.
I can promise you also that Farke has not been tuning into this forum to get his formation tactics like you appear to imagine.
Now things are looking slightly rosier itās like letās find any excuse for bashing Farke for the last season and a half.
If thereās anything boring and repetitive, then that endless moronic mantra is.
Enjoy the rest of your of the weekend Aus mate. š.

Sadly yes Aus, thereās been little to no consideration what Farke has had to deal with.
From the loan clause debarcle, off loading player assets like Archie and Rutter, then to be hands tied in the transfer market this summer and not complaining once about the quality forwards he so desperately needed to compete in the Premiership
No, the cancel culture is alive and well with some Leeds United fan base.
I also fully expect that cancel culture to be back in full force by the time we lose our next game.
