Leeds looking at 42yr old Paul Clement who is currently coach at Real Madrid, Clement never made it as a pro footballer but has 20yrs experience coaching at Chelsea, Fulham, Blackburn and Paris Saint Germain before going to Real Madrid, he's worked under Gus Hiddink and Carlo Ancelotti at Chelsea and went to Paris Saint Germain with Ancelotti too, he also had a brief spell under Keene at Blackburn, sounds like he's got a good CV for the job as head coach at mighty whites, would you welcome him against the other names mentioned as coaching candidates?

From what cellino has said he his lookin for a British couch rather than a continental chaise longue!

4.) 14 Jun 2014
I think Clement would be great. Roy Hodgson never really made it as a pro footballer but he's done alright since . (I am going to forget his time at Liverpool and Blackburn)

Totally agree, BUT would you leave a cushy job at the biggest club in the world, working with the best footballers in the world to work for MC and have every chance of loosing your job by xmas, he must be a great coach no doubt about it and must of worked damn hard to get there, so why risk it all for us, when i'm sure he must of been approached every time a job comes along? Just my opinion, hope we do get him but what would you do in his position with MC past record? MOT

6.) 14 Jun 2014
Paul clement is british

7.) 14 Jun 2014
Cant see it happening although I would welcome him. He won't leave RM why the hell would he?

8.) 14 Jun 2014
Oh yeah come to leeds that will do his world reputation a power of good! MOT

Didn't he reject chance to work at Albion recently. I agree would be a class appointment but can't see MC persuading him to come to Leeds

This would be a long shot surely but equally a massive show of intent. We do not actually know the extent of MC's ambition yet do we so who knows. I would certainly be happy if this comes off.

11.) 14 Jun 2014
Would love it if we got him, but he turned down WBA and Brighton, who are in more stable positions than us at the moment, so can't see him coming here.

Hey if his credentials are good then why not give Paul Clement a chance and he sounds British in name.

If Massimo did state he wanted a British coach I am puzzled why because in the British game we have managers, coaching is not our style! I thought a continental person who is familiar with the coaching approach would have been better.

Think Ross is going to be sold the way media reports and speculation is brewing.

Never a dull moment!

He is british. He is the son of Dave Clement the ex Bolton full back.

14.) 15 Jun 2014
This would be a fantastic appointment. He is very highly thought of at Real

Why would anyone leave a coaching role at RM for a coaching role at LU. Role same, security at RM, not at LU.
