According to Phil Hay, Bridcutt has agreed a settlement on his Sunderland contract and now needs to just agree personal terms with us.

For me the first 2 games this season already prove that we need him here I think viera needs to play further up the field and bridcutt in his position would strengthen us a lot this proved that last season. I know one player doesn't make that much difference but he gives the other players a lot more confidence and he can play football there will be people out there that don't agree but imo he brings a lot to the table of our squad.

For 1 rob green is a shockingly poor gk. Marco Silvestri was far better. Our defence is so easy to beat n the midfield is pathetic, viera should be dropped he's not done a thing to warrant a place in the team, not been impressed with roofe atall, very greedy and in no way worth 3 mill. This team honestly looks like a league 1 team at best. The defence is bad but it's the middle 2 mowatt and viera who are really letting the team down most. Bridcutt will help if we get him but if I was him I wouldn't want mowatt or viera in front of me because they are not good enough.
