I have been ill so could only watch the game on television. Things that struck me was the relentless pressing for minutes on end. Also we played some stunning football. In between we had some very ordinary patches where a better side could have made us pay. I went from thinking this is great to that is poor and back and forth. We should have scored earlier and Klitch could have done better but his all round play was very good. Roberts seemed lightweight and out of sync. with the rest of the team in the first half then scores two goals later on. Hope this is a spring board for him. I agree with the head coach in that we are very good for the most part but need to improve in certain areas if we are going to get promotion. Whatever happens light years better than last season and a pleasure to watch.

Understand your concern but think it would be hard for any team to dominate a match 100% There are going to be times in any game where the other team gets a foothold and tries to play, good thing is we do not let them do it for long. When we are on the front foot we create chances, and the chances can fall to any one of the attacking players. As you said Klich missed 2 which in another match he may put away as he has done. Roberts although looking to be still getting used to the system scored 2. Overall we have the greater possession each game. We have the belief that we can score in any game and if we keep creating as many chances odds are we will. Have no doubt we wil have one or two matches that trip us up but unlike other years think this team will bounce right back.

Don't forget Roberts is still a kid, he's had a long time out with injury, PNE was only his second start but he's finding his feet now.
