i dislike chelsea and city but can't help that think that the scousers are being helped to win the title this season, I know some will slaughter me for saying so but it seems as though a lot of the big decisions have gone their way esp lately.

Didn't Manchester United have 15yrs of decisions going for them?
Chelski had decisions go for them when they won the champs league?

I'm not sure who I'd want to win it but I think GERRARD deserves a premier league title, it will be his last chance this year and for his loyalty/commitment you can't knock him ;)

When we were Champions in 68/69 and won it at Anfield the Kop and the other scousers applauded. i'd rather they won it rather than the cockneys or the mancs. MOT

I Hope Liverpool win the league for Gerrard & the 96

plus can you imagine the impact that gerrard could make at the world cup after he has a league medal in his locker

I only started going in early 1970 so missed the legendary Kop applause when we won the title but my uncle who used to take me every week as a kid was there and often talked about the graciousness of the Liverpool fans that day.

I'd also agree that Gerrard deserves a title.

As for the 'isn't this a Leeds site' comment, surely the fact that it is doesn't preclude a bit of general football discussion and debate?

Hi Ed, long time visitor, first time poster, keep up the great work.

Here we are praising Liverpool fans for clapping us on to the pitch as Champions & they are also applauded for the great welcome they give to their returning ex players. What bugs me is why do our fans have to boo & slag off of our ex players when they return to Elland Road? There were some great players like Gary Mc who served our club so well yet he got booed by our fans when he returned as part of a Liverpool team. I think we should give credit where credit is due to those players that did well & were proud to wear our badge.
