Ross has said he is happy at Leeds and will sign a new contract if he gets offered one the man is Leeds not like other players who move for money ross shows he loves Leeds every time he scores

{Ed013's Note - Surely he should be happy with the contract that he signed not that long ago. Unfortunately contracts don't mean much any more and it seems Ross is after more money. What do you all think?}

Ed your right . Ross is apperantly on 25k a week so obviously wants what liecster west ham and Cardiff are ready to offer him probably round 35k mark which mc will not pay so sorry to say it is bye bye to the little man who loves leeds . Mot wilko wilko .

I'm with you Ed, people who support football clubs think that everyone associated with that club are as dedicated to that club as they themselves are, unfortunately they all see themselves as paid employees doing what they do for reward. Ross is no different to youor II or anyone else who works for a living.

It seems it does not matter what he says, if asked about his future and he replies that he will happily sign a new contract (which confirms his long term commitment to the club in the only way he can) then some people say just wants more money . strange attitude by some people to our best player!

Emotional blackmail. He likes being the star of the club and wants this to be reflected in continuous contract renewals. Basically he could go to the prem and is using this as a bargaining tool. If he really wanted to stay for the love of Leeds he would just say i'm staying, not I want to stay but you could help to persuade me with yet another improved contract. Goalscorers are like rocking horse dung but we need to be careful he doesn't become more important than the club.

when you hear the amount that murphy, hunt etc are getting then surely he's entitled to request more money? after all if it wasnt for ross we would of been relegated, should be highest earner at the club in my opinion.

I was thinking the same ed, there should be nothing wrong with his current one, is it 3 years left? Definitely wants a pay rise. You think we should keep judged on this and up his money? Or let him go to prem team? Harte of leeds

{Ed013's Note - I think no player is bigger than the club}

Who could we get for 5 million and 35 grand a week that is the alternative, personally I think we could get some quality out of contract players for that!

8.) 21 Apr 2014
I agree with sniffer, 5 mil would be great. He's not the youngest and I think he's had his best years.

I am disappointed at the attitude to our best player in the above posts, I have not seen or read the interview with RM but the original post said that if offered a new contract he (RM) would sign it, how have you managed to come to the conclusion that he is just after more money? if his reply to question was I would not sign a new contract I could understand you all complaining and I would be too. once again on this site too many people just want to complain and moan, I am glad that he is prepared to sign a new contract and show commitment to our club.

Sorry Ed. Ross is not an all round PLPlayer let him go asap

Crazy to let hom go for 4-5 million. Pay him the extra 10-15 grand a week. he's worth it and he deserves it in my opinion. let's not forget if he got injured at start of season we would probably be relagated this year! I believe he could score 10 -15 league goals playing in Premier League. We be mad to let him go. MOT.
