Sorry guys but I'm old and past it.
Just been watching some of the glory days on utube.
I was actually there for nearly everything.
I know I'm an old giffer but we were awesome.
Great days and I desperately hope and pray they will come back in 3 years under my lunatic Italian friend.
Spoke to Peter and Eddie on Sat and they aren't confident but I'm hopeful.
What really upsets me is that nobody seems to recognise just how great Eric Cantona was for us.
Ooh Ahh Cantona started at ER not Man Utd.

Agreed! And if Wilko had built a team around Cantona like did that would be us up there this past 20 years. but oh no had to sell him . leaves a bitter taste still.

You been drinking mate, cantona was just a gloryfied sub for us. couldn't out chapman or wallace. also you sound like you are close to some of the players and/or the club so you will know the real reason cantona left, which is not nice. now if you want to talk super sub then Stevie hodge was the main man. he goals per minute record for leeds must be up there with the best of them. He only played about 45 minutes for leeds and got about 8 goals. Great leeds forwards cantona don't even get near top ten, maybe for man u but not for super leeds

Your delirious pal cantana was pure class and wilkinson sold him because he was too bigger star

To be blunt mate your wrong ask lee Chapman why Cantona was sold mate nudge nudge get the idea he likes the ladies and they liked him that's why he left

Thats the reason I am on about. not very nice, terry did it and was made the villian cantana the hero. He really wasnt that influential at leeds more of a sub. Wilko's team fell apart becuase he never sorted out the defence and keeper. He just sorted it out with some great players and then was sacked. Still think O'learys best players were all wilko signings and wilo never got enough credit for that, a truly great manager

I think the fans that followed Wilko's team certainly gave him the credit for what he achieved. "Seargeant Wilko's Barmy Army" was blasted out nearly as much as Marching On Together from the Geldered End, Lowfields Terrace and South Stand at every home game. Everyone knew it was Wilko and the amazing 'Mad Mick' Hennigan who started the revolution.

I agree I mean wilko laid foundation for our oleary team (martyn, radadbe, boywer) but then got sacked before he had the chance to make them work. for me o'leary was poor and threw away good work by graham and wilko. never a fan of o'leary other than viduka don't think he made a good signing
