Mixed emotions at the minute. Is this all hot air? If the 'consortium' don't have some serious funds then what do we do to bring in new players and pay the wages? Raising money to buy is one thing and actually running it effectively is another - we still don't own ER! So tickets go to rent. I don't pretend to know all the details but we still have GFH taking their cut - when their is cash to take. If there is no money to run the club then MC will utilise this to highlight he is the only one who can payroll us, keep GFH at bay and give us a fighting chance of being raised from the ashes - I will wait and watch it unfold - we need to be careful otherwise we won't have a club at all. Be careful what you wish for.

This is an astute evaluation. I view it as a lose-lose. We need Cellinos money but not his ego maniac running of the club.

You can't blame Cellino for that performance. He has spent a bit on the team and bought players who said they could play football! Alright his choice of coach ain't great but UWE was a reasonable pedigree and he turned out bollocks too!
