did i just read on ceefax (i have an old telly) that the average wage for the championship is £324,250. making it just over 6k per week. now i am no billionaire, or even italian millionare, but that seems an easy figure to beat to attract 3 or 4 quality players without paying silly money. if i was a self made millionare then i would probably have earned it by taking risks and speculating to accumulate. i figure just over 20mil would ensure a title challenge.

{Ed003's Note - just called clubcall and they reckon this figure could be because it includes young players on lower wages which makes the average seem low to us mere mortals.}
