I like following the arguments and banter on this site, very entertaining! (unlike the football) .
I agree that some quality additions are needed in the summer. My personal opinion is that we, as fans, are too quick to massacre the strikers. Yes, I know they aren't scoring but I put the blame squarely on the fact that we have no playmakers good enough to create multiple chances for the strikers at this level.
We need imo a goalkeeper, two good quality CBs, two creative midfield players to compliment Diagouraga and Bridcutt, a good N0 10 to link play between midfield and attack and a fox in the box striker'
I agree that GFH need to be ousted, they are leeches. I also hope Parkin buys or invests in the club as I think it is our only hope.
I'm far from convinced that we are safe from relegation hopefully the next few games will settle the nerves.

I don't agree about strikers. They miss a lot. That's why they don't score. And their positioning is awful. We haven't got a good striker.

Speedo4eva - not sure I entirely agree especially as you suggest we need 7 new players but not the strikers?

I agree with Ausman about the strikers for example against Watford it was clearly highlighted that on at least a couple of occasions and there wasn't, t many during the match when players down the right got into a super position to fire a cross into the box they looked up to find the box void of leeds players now decent strikers the likes of mccormack Beckford etc would have bust a gut to be in the box to give the crosses something to aim at, seems like nobody wants to score so new strikers or improved coaching YES PLEASE.

I think speedo4 & ausman are both right, Striker positioning, shots on target (lack of shots really) , lack of goals, it's not good enough. The link up play counter attacking lacks the quality player we don't have.

If SE sets us up not to concede then we don't lose (then he won't get sacked?) . We are predictable in how we approach games, don't concede, attackers, midfield and wide men don't get too forward too often as we get caught on the counter. SE has made a difference but I see through his comments and the excuses when we lose or don't win games when we should.

Let's just hope we stay in this league and hopefully SE will set us up more attack minded when we have the points in the bag and give some fringe and youth a chance.

i think any good manager sets up his stall this way. big sam, pulis and george graham all come in and tighten up at the back and make team hard to beat. this is always at the expense of the fans, as I have mentioned before does anyone remember our first season under Graham it was beyound dire and poor and makes our current team like like baracelona.

I think this is all SE has done I now expect he will bring in his own players in closed season and improve our attacking game so we are better team next season, with tight at the back and improvement going forward we could well be a play off team next year.

I often call for MC to sack manager and i'm normally the first on here to call for a managers head (which often results in me getting slated) however this time I really hope mc sticks with his man and I think SE has a good eye for player and will turn us into promotion chasers sooner rather than later.
