I have never been a supporter who has advocated the sacking of any manager, especially so when, as once we have sacked one, the next one coming through the revolving door appears to be much more disfunctional that his predicessor but, to be honest and realistic, does anyone see Steve Evans taking us up to the promised land?

There is nothing to be be gained in keeping him during the close season and then sacking him after the first ten games of next season when we surely under perform especially when twenty three teams will be playing for the runners up spot or the play off final. Newcastle will be nailed on for an immeadiate return.

I think we should cut our losses and release steve from his contract, bring in a replacement now who can form a plan based on the abilities of those players who have a few games left to claim a shirt for next season and beyond.

Leeds United show great support throughout the ups and downs and will never be defeated but now and then, they need a bone to chew on.

On and on for ever Leeds.

i do feel for steve evans as this is not his chosen group of players and he has not been backed in the transfer market. but saying that, his penchant for playing people out of position is infuriating. I think his number is up at the end of the season, I just hope cellino finds a coach he will back with money as we can't continue with this very average squad without additions. another lost season, not happy!

Honestly, I don't see anyone taking us up.
More likely going down than up next season.

Personally I don't advocate this "they are not my players" rubbish. So what, they are professional players and anyone with some tactical nouse and motivational qualities should be able to make them play. It I not about having your buddies around you it is about being good at your job!

No Premier, I don't see him taking us anywhere. I think the decision is made and he will soon be gone, in fact I am surprised he is still here now. At some point however we do need to stick with a coach and give him a real chance but unfortunately we don't seem to find one who actually deserves that chance. I know it must be difficult under Cellino and he needs to go as well if we are to move forward but who knows when that will happen. Motivational qualities and tactical nouse as I mentioned in another post are essential and a few names such as Alex Neil, Gary Rowett and Mark Warburton spring to mind but let's face it none of those will happen.
