Here we go again - another paper ( this time the Telegraph) stirring stuff up to sell papers - Alladyce, Hasdlebaink, Wright and Cellino all implicated in a scandal - I know there has to be rules but to dig stuff up like this is just sensationalism - I doubt there are many who make a living from football who hasn't done something dodgy at one time or another so shall we expose them all and have no game left.

Kray

Good post but I think one of the angles and points to the expose is how intentionally bureaucratic and insipid the football governing authorities are. I'd much prefer zero corruption in the game but if this is impossible the authorities must apply their own rules not pay them lip service. Otherwise I'd much prefer widespread corruption and no rules whatsoever. At least that would be honest and accurate. You think these allegations came as surprise to the FA. They knew all about Allardyce but made him national coach anyhow and they know about others too. The Telegraph message is the FA can no longer ignore what's happening.

Backhanders and 'trying to get one over' on the 'system' are part and parcel of doing business and is nothing new. Whilst I do not condone it, there will always be someone somewhere trying to make a few extra quid, a fast buck or line their pockets. By nature of entrapment is equally devious and underhand in my book. Whilst it always puts the people with money in a greater position, unfortunately there just is not enough moral courage out there to ever stop 'dodgy' 'insider' or third party dealing. How many people out there can put their hand on their heart and say they haven't 'bent' the rules or the truth in order to get a desired result? These things are always sensationalised and people who sit there and shake their head should look inwardly first. That of course is not pointed at anyone in particular and is just an observation. MOT. Stay positive and keep the faith.

I cannot believe that supporters are blaming the press for exposing the filthy greedy grubby activities of our corrupt owner. let's spell it out. What Cellino is saying is that if you are an owner of Leeds United, then you, as a shareholder, can take 100% cash generated from the sale of players without it going through the club's books and accounts. The rules state that this money should go into the Club and shareholders should take any money out through a dividend, just to make it all transparent and above board. So when you wonder how come money seems to disappear when players are sold and the Club's finances don't seem to improve, you now know at least one of the reasons why. You may say that it is OK and everyone should leave Cellino alone to get on with it; I say it is not OK and they should stick him in jail to rot. Stop believing Cellino is some sort of charitable saviour. He is a spiv and a leech and I hope we can rid ourselves of him in the very near future. There is a reason the press targeted the individuals they did in that operation, and it is nothing to do with a vendetta against Leeds United.

Reality

You think Bates any different? I can assure you Ridsdale was the same.

Everyone is growing a conscience after the FIFA arrests. Is it good for the game? Yes. Is it good for Leeds? We're running out of time. This takeover needs to happen before the end of the season imho.

Reality, there is a difference between exposing 'greedy grubby deal' and setting someone up for a fall - which didn't work by the way! And then linking it to other setups which did! If you don't like MC then fine, if you think some of his methods are questionable, then fine. Just don't forget who paid our wages when he wasn't even officially in charge of the club! Cause GFH refused! He dug out for us and yes he has his flaws - don't we all? His are just sensationalised 😱 Trying to get investment to take the club forward isn't a crime!
