I think Burnley fans are resigned to being relegated and looking forward to a season without VAR. ? There's been no change in the relative standings today, and West Ham are still some way back. We've got Man United to play, but the majority of the rest of the fixtures are against teams in the bottom half.

It's all in our hands and we are more than capable of moving up the table. This is a far better team than the one that was relegated.

On MOTD, Shearer suggested that the reason the 1st one was disallowed was because it was the Burnley player's shoulder and upper arm that were offside, and those are parts of the body one can score with. If he had later done just that, all the Brentford team would've been screaming for handball.
