Apparently we turned down a 25 million bid for Rutter in the summer and I was peed off that we did. Thought he was a total waste of money after watching him last season.
This season he's like total different player. The lad has everything and the goals will come. In fact I believe he can become one of the best players in the world he's that good at such s young age.

He did look a bit of a dud last season Cork. Gio came and was in my opinion unfit and not built up enough for the job . A bit of a panic buy when other deals had not come off. Another example of this was the JKA debacle. Bought as a punt. Not fit. Not ready for English football but the difference between JKA and gio is that last summer gio was able to go away and bulk up and work on his fitness.
JKA as we no was never able to do this because of c.v. and being embroiled in a legal tussle. JKA in my opinion was talented enough to have made a go of it if the circumstances had been different.
Luckily gio has had the time and coaching and fitness work and he now is showing us what people had seen in him.
Just the scoring part he has to work on. But it will come.

Agree cork. He is one of the best young players in the world on current form. Unplayable and a magician. Not enjoyed watching a player as much as Gio for a long while.
