So after all that it turns out that it's the relatively unknown Thomas Christiansen, who has been APOEL manager for the last season. Getting them another league title and to the Last 16 of the Europa League has to be considered a successful year. With a Spanish background (despite the Nordic name) , he was the one that nobody mentioned. I'm actually quite happy. How are we all taking the news?

Hope so! My major concern would be the lack of Championship experience, although judging from what I've been reading today that he came to the interview with a full on presentation of the entire squad's strengths and weaknesses I'm very encouraged. Ultimately it'll be results that'll define whether he's classed as a success or a failure, but for now we should all get behind him. MOT.
