Making our move for Ben, with two offers turned down, the latest for £22m. We are back int big time, boys!

Brightwhite

1.) 08 Aug 2020 19:13:01
Not worth any more than that, might be great at championship level good chance he might be bang average at premier league level. It’s a lot of money to take a gamble with.

Go on shoot me down.

2.) 08 Aug 2020 21:27:44
Same gamble as we took before he'd played a championship game.
Could easily say there's a good chance he'll be brilliant. Only time will tell.

3.) 09 Aug 2020 01:37:56
Well. let me put it this way. He can play with the ball at his feet. Which is more than most central defenders can do. He can pass, he can read the game. He also loves being at Leeds, and clicks with the team. He’s class. 28mill plus’s the add ons when he skippers England. The boy is young and wow! Quality!

4.) 09 Aug 2020 15:04:35
Ed isit true Liverpool and Chelsea are trying to muscle in and get White?

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool have a sustained interest in the player.}

5.) 09 Aug 2020 19:36:55
Where’s my 45!
Nobody knows the transfer budget and If Rad wants to buy Ben White for 50 mill that’s his prerogative although I believe he will sign on Wednesday for 28 million!
Lot of money yes but imo better than taking a risk on a foreign player or the Spurs CB who have hardly played in 2 years. The lad knows the club and I’m sure has an affinity with Leeds as well. No brainer.

6.) 09 Aug 2020 20:07:27
Yes Canada but it’s a lot of money if the gamble goes wrong.

7.) 10 Aug 2020 07:48:12
Don’t think it will happen Cork, If he goes I think he will go for more than 28 million. Being realistic if Liverpool and Chelsea really are going for him, at this stage of our premiership recovery we can’t compete.

The skill is finding the Whites before they reach the loanable out stage and our lack of Ben whites from our own recent batch of CBS, including, O’Connor, Diaz, Aappo, Shaunessy etc, shows how hard it is. Possibly Pascal remains the hope.

Shacks on loan to Barnsley for the season is floating around. That would be great for the lad!

Brightwhite

1.) 08 Aug 2020 05:22:29
I’d rather him in our team tbh.

2.) 08 Aug 2020 06:46:56
Personally think Shackleton is one of the under 23s who could play a part in a premiership season. Not sure he has done much wrong when he has been given opportunities. I’d like to see who else we get in before sending him out for the year.

3.) 08 Aug 2020 10:33:48
The Lad needs To get a full season of football under his belt, and the way that Barnsley now play under their gaffer, will be ideal for him. He would only get subs appearances, which isn’t enough for him to develop fully, in my own opinion.

4.) 08 Aug 2020 21:23:19
Not sure Bright. If you look at Bielsas record with the kids he seems to keep those he likes and wants to develop close. Those that go out on loan tend not to come back, Ryan might be an exception, Bielsa likes him but clearly wasn’t involved in squads last year and so definitely not this year. I think Shacks is different, closer to the first team and if I was one of the young kids I’d like to be around the first team players and bielsas coaching team.

5.) 09 Aug 2020 01:41:10
Eeeeh. For once I disagree Spaniard! I really thin Bielsa respects the guy at Barnsley and also think that a full season of plyingweek in, week out, will take Shackleton to another level. But, hey, we’ll see.

05 Aug 2020 13:24:43
Kun Temenuzhkof gone out on loan again! Segunda B division team Real Union.
Doesn't look like the Bulgarian Messi is going to feature for us?

Ryan Edmondson on loan to Aberdeen. First move of the summer outwards! Also looking to extend his contract, so great stuff for all concerned! Smash it up lad!

Brightwhite

1.) 31 Jul 2020 15:26:31
good luck Ryan.

Yep indeed

Looking forward to the 'Fat Frankie Sacking Party Celenbration' in the very near future

# KARMA.

07 Aug 2020 00:15:13
I read sky sports transfer Centre daily, and I think they are on the take, as are half of the pundits there. Close quotes, but not exact:
"Norwich see the bid as derisory, and an insult"
"Edouard is worth 40mill and could be bought by a top 6 PL team".
Where do they get this guff from? No one tells them anything, so stop turning our football into a Christmas episode of Eastenders! PLEASE,

Brightwhite

1.) 07 Aug 2020 05:53:47
Well said.

2.) 07 Aug 2020 08:10:47
All this bull in the name of news 🤮🤮🤑.

01 Aug 2020 19:44:39
Start crying Fat Lambturd.!

Brightwhite

1.) 01 Aug 2020 20:37:28
Lol Brighty he will be sacked in the morning 😉🤣🥴.

2.) 01 Aug 2020 21:14:34
Bazooka he should be way way out of his depth didn’t have a clue what to do sack in now,

3.) 01 Aug 2020 21:36:58
He'll probably have the sound of Leeds fans singing that song going round and round his head in his sleep. Two finals as a manager, two losses.

4.) 01 Aug 2020 22:17:46
White man - surely you don't want fat Frank to be sacked before we get to beat him again.

5.) 01 Aug 2020 22:47:04
love it can't wait to take 6 points and a few pukka pies off him next season.

6.) 01 Aug 2020 23:45:18
Berm - in my previously discussed effort on FM2020 mobile (the kindergarten version) we beat Fat Frank's Chelsea home and away on the forthcoming season, with his dismissal following shortly thereafter, and he was last heard of managing Middlesbrough, with an unsurprisingly mediocre tactical knowledge rating.

That sounds about his level, with apologies to the Smoggies. Hopefully something similar will happen in reality. The pressure will be well and truly on the fat one next season, with no excuses for failure and lots of money spent.

7.) 02 Aug 2020 13:13:21
funny enough i'm on the main version and similar happened he is with fulham who are mid table in championship. maybe the game can see ino the future.

26 Jul 2020 11:23:21
Did you know?
A female blue whale's Private parts Are so massive, that it can fit six adult males inside, making it the second largest P***y on the planet, behind Frank Lampard.

Brightwhite

1.) 26 Jul 2020 11:44:43
Lol Brighty I want the Leeds fans to reprise their magic song Stop Crying Frank Lampard when Leeds play Chelsea.

2.) 26 Jul 2020 12:34:36
He is a girl.
He should be reminded of that.
Don’t want him thinking he remotely resembles a man.

3.) 26 Jul 2020 13:16:35
very good

did everyone see him having a go at klop during the liverpool game the other day. was funny to watch shows his lack of class.

20 Jul 2020 14:27:33
Dog botherers planning to approach Carlos Corberan! Gues what direction they want to take after seeing our progress under Marcelo!? Would rather he went somewhere else to start his career as head coach, but would understand if was was interested. ☹️.

Brightwhite

1.) 20 Jul 2020 14:45:21
It would be a shame if Carlos left but fully understandable if he wanted to be first team head coach elsewhere even at the dog botherers

I an confident that Leeds could find a suitable replacement for Carlos to lead the U23s and maybe that person would even be an improvement on Carlos.

2.) 20 Jul 2020 14:57:05
I think it's the perfect first appointment for Carlos. He won't have to move house

Further to that he will be able to ask Bielsa for a loan or two from out U23 pool, giving some of our younger talent much need exposure to the Championship. I think most of would like to know what Edmondson could do at that level. and there would be no moving if house for them either. And even better would be the fact they would already understand the systems that Carlis would want to put in to place.

Then, in 3 years time Bielsa, Champions League winning manager, can kick back and watch the battle honed Carlos take his team further on the journey.

3.) 20 Jul 2020 15:05:31
Could benefit us, if he does well in a couple of years he could replace the great man.

4.) 20 Jul 2020 15:25:33
Tie Marcelo down to a 3 year promise then let Carlos go but tell him only to sign a 3 year contract, get experience then in 1923 we will come a calling.

5.) 20 Jul 2020 15:56:32
Looks like it’s a done deal. Players seem aware and Radz talking publicly about him going in positive tones for Carlos. Will create some opportunities for the kids and perhaps in both directions.

He has done a great job for us and deserves to go with plaudits and support.

Could be a very astute appointment for Huddersfield and I hope they give him time.

If Berardi doesn’t get another Leeds contract, might not be a bad fighter to have alongside you.

Good luck Carlos, loved watching you coaching your team in the under 23s. Don’t forget us!

6.) 20 Jul 2020 16:16:15
Good luck and thank you to him if he goes.

7.) 20 Jul 2020 17:42:31
Will even start following them if he loans any of our kids . Had half buried the hatchet anyway after West Brom match.

8.) 20 Jul 2020 17:57:28
Leo You'll need the services of one Dr E Brown first.

9.) 20 Jul 2020 18:11:22
No I would like him to stay and carry on with MB learn his ways then take over if MB steps down in time. Enjoy what is coming. pay in what he will get from them.

10.) 20 Jul 2020 20:41:22
agree well done and thanks if he goes. do laugh at the thought of him coming to us in three years. like he won't be sacked in the meantime. what the dog botherers have done to danny cowley who is a good manager is boarderline a joke and half way to unreasonable.

11.) 20 Jul 2020 21:40:11
Berm Bielsa cost Cowley his job. It's called jealousy and a wish to copy. Human emotions expressed in business. Bielsa basically added a couple of players to a team which finished 13th 2 years ago. He won the league and played breathtaking football simultaneously. Dog Botherers can't get the real thing so opting for next best thing.

12.) 20 Jul 2020 23:10:34
that might well be true alf.

think all this constant talk of how much belisa turned the club around is a dig at monk. we played good football under monk as was not a mile away from the play off. yes belisa has improved the team but i don't think it is a million miles away from what monk was building.

13.) 20 Jul 2020 23:45:41
Berm More like a million and one. Monk had no Plan B. He also benefited from a certain Chris Wood. Bielsa is the real deal. 🐒 ain't in his league.

14.) 21 Jul 2020 08:14:02
Monk did well, but as George said he actually had (imo) better players at his disposal. Wood, Jansson, Bartley, Green, a younger Pablo and even Roofe all added to the squad. I'm not convinced anyone that we added since has increased the overall quality other than White and even the squad that Monk had needed improvement to compete anywhere near the top - playoffs were about all we could expect from them and we didn't even get there. To actually win the league with the squad we have now is as close to a miracle as I can expect to see in my lifetime. Bielsa is simply a footballing god. What he has done is the equivalent to winning the F1 at Silverstone in a Ford Mustang.

Ben will not only play for England, he will captain England. He’s a legend in the making for both all White strips! Yes, he is that good, and £30m, at a stretch, is a solid price.
