The wannabe oracle Fabrizio Romano saying that we are in "advanced talks" for Dan James.

Brightwhite

Hope it's a loan with an option but not an obligation to buy. Best to see if he can respond to Bub coaching first. Otherwise he could be an expensive flop. He has pace yes but as a footballer Costa is more skillful.

Ffs. Ryan Kent rumours yet again.

Brightwhite

1.) 11 Aug 2021 20:41:42
Again.

2.) 12 Aug 2021 23:26:23
To be fair, if we could get a deal over the line it would be great for us. Great player and Marcelo rates him. It’s now or never though for me. It’s dragged out too long. Rangers need money after not qualifying for champions league so let’s make the offer but make it know take it or leave it. 🤔.

3.) 13 Aug 2021 18:07:56
How bogs the line Rob? We been trying to get him over it for 18 months 😂.

Noa Lang will happen this week.

Brightwhite

1.) 09 Aug 2021 01:05:44
Based on what Bright?
Heard something?

2.) 09 Aug 2021 06:41:42
Wishful thinking.

3.) 09 Aug 2021 10:33:50
Unlikely, Don't think we getting anymore for first team in this transfer window. Hope we lucky on the injury front or bielsa is confident to use some of the under23's, as we still seem light as a squad.

4.) 09 Aug 2021 13:20:24
Based on numerous other rumours. This is the rumour page is it not?

5.) 09 Aug 2021 20:04:02
Not seen anything to that effect on any of thenolaces I normally look.
Hope you are right though!

Okay Yokuslu from Celta Vigo being considered at around £6m. Was on loan at West Brom for half a season., so has PL experience. Has a serious engine. Turkish International.

Not that I was ever a fan of his to say the least, but the way Steve Bruce has been treated is nothing short of a disgrace. Yes he's got a good payoff, but when he talks about the impact on his family, it's not good at all imo.

Brightwhite

1.) 20 Oct 2021 18:18:48
Bright it's a bit like current day pop stars +all these influencers, they all love the adulation +wealth etc
But when you are dealing with the public and living your life in front of a camera for likes +followers
then your skin better rubber thick

What Steve hasn't bother saying and what you alluded to is the money he has now walked away with is only a dream to 90 % of the population and to people who give their working lives to enterprises and receive statutory redundancy on termination .

Steve has the last laugh, for all that money they could say what they want about me personally, I wouldn't care, neither would my wife.

2.) 20 Oct 2021 18:55:52
Totally agree - nobody should be put through that stress.

3.) 20 Oct 2021 19:14:05
Sadly that’s modern day football for you, merciless.

4.) 21 Oct 2021 04:37:45
Brighty Utter tripe, again. They gave him his 1000th managerial match and then 8 million smacks. Not exactly horrible or disrespectful treatment. They are however liars. They said their approach would be patient and considered. Hardly patient.

5.) 21 Oct 2021 05:24:34
A good perspective on it Chris! 👍🏻.

19 Oct 2021 17:18:32
I'm waiting for the club accounts to come out at the end of the tax year. Should explain a lot, I'm guessing.

Brightwhite

1.) 19 Oct 2021 18:10:00
yes Brighty those accounts will no doubt indicate some financial losses from c.v. ( £20 million loss from 20 EPL matches last season ) so with this and any other losses possibly why less funds been spent on transfers this season

however those accounts losses won't really be a factor to explain the reasons/ mistakes for VO/ MB/ AR wasting actual considerable transfer money on players who have not really performed and were not needed as much as a CAM and CM etc.

2.) 19 Oct 2021 18:47:47
The 50 mil wr had invested by the 49ers will surely cover any c.v. losses, while record TV, sponsorship, shirt sales and prize money revenue should have been available to invest. Shame we won't be able to see how much the board took out in bonuses.

3.) 19 Oct 2021 19:05:42
indeed Alf.

4.) 19 Oct 2021 20:29:05
#Bangadifferentdrum!
We all know your feelings towards the past, and fully respect your opinion, but please please, let’s move on. Nobody disagrees we didn’t strengthen enough in the areas we hoped for in the summer window, but moaning about it on a daily basis is draining, and it’s in the past!

5.) 19 Oct 2021 20:42:05
is it just the past though MG?

is it not affecting the present and future matches until next window at least?

but fine I will hush on it, because none of us have any power ourselves to change matters.

6.) 19 Oct 2021 21:49:57
Club accounts? Utter drivel, again.

7.) 19 Oct 2021 22:22:26
If we find a spare £40 odd mill I reckon we could take Mr Greizemann, ezzee pezzee.

8.) 20 Oct 2021 17:33:26
Lol CC! We wish buddy!

16 Oct 2021 22:48:06
Guys. We have differing perspectives on here. We all recognise that, but please quit being childish, and calling people out when things go the way that allow you to emphasise your points of view. There is no need for it. It makes it sound as though you are pleased we lost, as it helps you to say "I told you so. " Let's not lose any more good posters due to bitching, eh? MOT, yeah?

Brightwhite

1.) 16 Oct 2021 22:57:43
Brighty no one is pleased we lost end of.

2.) 16 Oct 2021 23:14:36
Bright, I am going to be totally non biased here with you, it's very strange that the moral high ground on this forum ALWAYS seems to be with the (all's fine we are more knowledgeable camp ) life teaches us that not everyone agrees or gets along with each other .

That's fine by me, and I bet countless others on here, what today and now a good few other days this season have confirmed is, what us ( doom + gloomers ) had been saying for a fair while is now starting to look correct . I take zero joy in the current state of our squad and the current outlook, but what I do not like is the way the narrative seems to be 1 point of view seems to be the only ( knowledgeable + correct 1 ) ,

That's what irks us, UNDERSTAND that others have a point of view that differs from others . But it always seems that the ( all's fine) camp are the 1,s who say oh sod this I am sick of ye moaners I am leaving the forum

Sometimes it's okay to say I WAS WRONG .

If this season turned out the opposite from what I thought it was going to be I would have NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER SAYING I BALLSED UP MY ASSUMPTIONS .

Others seem hell bent on never saying same thing.

3.) 16 Oct 2021 23:32:26
Very well stated Chris I could not put it better.

4.) 16 Oct 2021 23:52:25
Yes, it was a very poor performance, and yes we probably all have concerns about the form shown by Tyro and Rodrigo, and yes we would all like a bigger squad. Yes, we’re probably all concerned that our next opponents Wolves will be lifted by their late comeback win at Villa, and that Leicester also seem to be finding some form three weeks before their visit to Elland Road. Yes, most of us in our darkest moments probably fear that Norwich will somehow manage to get their first Winn of the season against us.

So yes, we are probably all concerned by our start to the season. But anyone who thinks the answer is to show Bielsa the door needs to give their head a good shake. If you think Raphinha will be wanting to leave now, with Bielsa here, how much more would he want to leave if Bielsa were to go? Who exactly would you be expecting/ wanting Bielsa to be replaced with? There needs to be a strong positive reaction to this latest setback- and you can be sure that all inside the Club will already be working on that. It’s to be hoped that the fans continue to get behind the team and Club management next Saturday, as if anything will sink us, it’ll be the fans turning - another sure fire way to speed Raphinha out of the door.

5.) 17 Oct 2021 09:02:36
Oh right Clue, so no it's the fans who will make Raph leave, not the lack of proper additions which the next team he will go to will have plenty of depth .

The more pertinent question you need to ask yourself is, why has it come to this? A paper thin squad and the poor purchasing / lack of key positions of players recently .

Maybe you might find a more balanced answer by being totally honest with yourself to the above questions .

And for the record, I don't want biesla to go.

6.) 17 Oct 2021 09:13:59
Clue, as you say we probably all have concerns about certain players and our start to the season, I use this forum to voice mine as my missus doesn't really like football and I don't have a dog to kick.
And for the record, I'm not saying sack bielsa, just that his stubbornness winds me up at times. Coaches and manager's move on eventually, either by choice or not, his tenure at Leeds certainly out of my control.
As for players like Raphinha, it's not the fans who will decide his exit, speed of or timing.

7.) 17 Oct 2021 21:45:43
I’ve not read everything in response. There is no high ground. No one here has the high ground. Let’s just stay with chat, and bants, eh?

16 Oct 2021 16:09:11
How on Earth are we getting battered by Southampton!? !

Brightwhite

1.) 16 Oct 2021 16:27:08
we go down 1 and bring on a injury prone defensive midfielder!

2.) 16 Oct 2021 16:35:49
Team sheet said it all before game writing was on the wall, where playing like a team already relegated that's how bad we've been.

12 Oct 2021 13:46:18
Couple of things on my mind:
Jesse Lingaard, if he is to leave on the cheap?
Barcodes; taken over by the richest people on the planet, and considering Fat Lambturd as new gaffer!? That would be hilarious seeing them relegated under his guidance, or lack of! 🤣🤣🤔🤔.

Strujik definitely more than capable, but only at CB for me. Shacks should play the holding role, as he has proved time and again to be capable.

I’m on the same page Baz. But like you say, ish, we should not be relying luck, and the squad really does need greater depth.
