None of us really know the whole finance situation at clubs and I wouldn’t want us to go for it or go broke but a few good signings and we genuinely could make a Europe dash.

Currently 6-9 points away from the spot but with a game in hand over Chelsea and Arsenal.

Our 2 centre backs yet to be full fitness and a few new faces could really push us up.

Having said that if we have no money due to c.v., I’d play it safe and be happy avoiding relegation.

During the interview of the recent announcement of the SF49ers further investment in Leeds United.

Radz alongside new Vice President Paraag Marathe clearly stated in the interview there would be no player. recruitment in this January window.

In the interview Paraag Marathe impressed greatly and his list of achievements in his 20 years at SF49ers even more impressive.

Still have a loan place available, Gilmour at Chelsea or Naitland Myles from Arsenal, both want regular footy, either would be good additions and wouldn't imagine massive wages
Or buy Harrison and loan both
IMO.

3.) 29 Jan 2021 11:02:42
It just feels a shame they said no investment in January, again I don’t know the financial implications this is all having, but as a supporter I know bielsa isn’t around forever and now would be as good of a chance as we are going to have possibly for a long time if he leaves at the end of the season. If he stays next season I have faith but if he leaves, he’s basically leaving championship players playing premiership football.

4.) 29 Jan 2021 14:15:47
I think he won’t leave.
He will want another big summer transfer and a tilt at Europe.
He is only really going to retire after this so as long as he gets his own way. This is as good as it gets for him.
As long as he keeps us up and inching up the table we should Keep him.
He has his faults but win or lose against defend and maybe get a draw or sneak a win. No comparison. The prem league as in any league. Dosent lie.

5.) 29 Jan 2021 16:10:38
I think Bielsa now will want at least another year coaching Leeds and he craves the Leeds fans back in the stadium.

Radz and Marathe have also reventky been talking up Bielsa and the Leeds future together.

So fairly confident Bielsa will continue as Leeds coach next season
.

I personally applaud Radz’s stance, and the fact that he has been open about it!
That said, I’d love us to go for Draxler before his contract expires!

7.) 29 Jan 2021 17:54:53
Yeah I agree with Radz, I think he is a wonderful chairman. Never really lies and commercial aspect has done wonders for us. As I was saying above purely as a fans point of view.

Leeds are 12th, on 23 points and one game shy of the halfway point in the season. And we have yet to field our strongest team at any point. Injuries and disruption might affect every team the same, but then not every team is judged like Leeds United. So the only expectation that is worth worrying about is our own, the club and the fans, and against that context, we’re doing just fine.

The last paragraph from our very own famous website.

Well worth a look at regarding our situation and the expectations Leeds fans put on ourselves.

Next few games we have a real chance to move well away from any chance of being dragged into and relegation battles (obviously other losing the rest of our games this season) with Brighton and Newcastle to play next could move us up, leaving the likes of Fulham, Sheffield and West Brom, Burnley all playing top teams in Man Utd, Liverpool, Man City and Spurs. It could be a real good couple of weeks for us.

Yeah we need to beat the teams around us. Philips out is worrying me somewhat.

Watching Bournemouth V Milwall and I’m so glad we don’t have to play in that league anymore, I’m actually grateful for VAR to some extent. Milwall should of had 2 red cards shouldn’t of gained a free kick that hit the post and after all that score 30 seconds later. Totally underserved point. I know VAR has its issues and is slowing football down and to some extent making it less interesting to some extent but atleast 90% are now correct.

Having witnessed the scandalous, bent and incompetent refeeering in the 70s I welcome VAR. It's still to be perfect but infinitely preferable to what we had before.

If VAR had existed in the 70s Leeds would have had won more trophies :
The European Cup in 1975 instead of being cheated out of it in the final, the league and cup double in 1972 etc etc.

2.) 12 Jan 2021 23:35:50
Var ain’t the problem it’s the rules and people who implement it I could fix var in about ten minutes.

3.) 13 Jan 2021 08:04:41
It’s going to take a while longer to get the right balance with VAR. Berm’s right it’s not VAR at fault but the laws that are given to it. The areas that still need improving are handballs and offsides but that more reflects the weakness of the law rather than VAR. VAR is exposing how bad the laws are, especially for handball which has so many ambiguities.

We could of yes George, but think bielsa knows roughly where he is at now and it makes me think and injury to bamford and he is our best option to put on the bench.

Berm just be quiet now please about Phillips, it’s absolutely nonsense.

We missed Phillips hugely tonight. Without him we are far weaker as every stat proves.

We lose more
We win less
We concede more
We score less

Teams press us at the back and we have no outlet, Phillips is the outlet against the press in games like this.

3-0 makes it look like a comfortable win but it was far from. The penalty was not a penalty and the free kick the whistle clearly didn’t blow but it was 2 decision that could of gone against us and it’s a completely different result.

I thought his backtracking was immense tonight. It doesn’t always go right for him but it wasn’t for a lack of effort. I’m sat on the fence with him. Some days I feel we will see the best of him if he plays regularly and other days I think wow our bench is weak when we have to look for Costa to help us out.

It’s a difficult one to price, he’s relatively unproven in the premier league but his potential for me is world class. I wouldn’t sell him for any amount of money if he doesn’t want to go as I genuinely believe he will become one of the best wingers in the league if not the world (maybe not if he stays at Leeds whilst loitering in mid table) however if push came to shove and he demanded a move I’d like at least £60 million based on what I’m seeing at the moment. But as some1 pointed above if Haaland has got a £66mil clause maybe he isn’t worth that much 🤷‍♂️ Unless his is too low.

Phillips is one of our best players and an England international. Do many teams not in the top 4 have a replacement of a high standard?

Can Tottenham replace Kane?
Can foxes replace vardy?
Place replace zaha?
Villa replace grealish?
Southampton replace ings?

You get my point, we’ve just been promoted back to the premier league is obvious we don’t have 11 premier league standard players and have 11 premier standard back ups just Incase.
