See Connor Shaunessey and Jay Roy Grott are leaving Leeds but do not think it’s worth staying up tonight for any incomings, but just shows with the likes of Rodrigo and Raphina what a transformation Radz has overseen at Leeds.

Wish them both well with their new teams those days players seem ten years ago now.

Chelation rumoured to be selling 7 players to fund a push for Halaand

One being their left back Marcos Alonso still only 29 think he would be a great signing for us.

1.) 26 Dec 2020 21:39:10
Class Don't you just hate it when a process which aspires to remove heavy metals from the bloodstream wants to buy one of your own homegrown players?!

2.) 26 Dec 2020 22:21:52
I’m rather disappointed that his Father hasn’t talked some sense him to him George.

3.) 27 Dec 2020 23:16:22
Unfortunately Alfie can't speak as loudly as cash.

05 Oct 2020 22:23:33
A picture of a plate of fish and chips and an unsigned contract . and the caption “Don't go to bed just yet. there is still work to be done“

What’s with this ridiculous PR typical Kinnear just announce he’s signed!

1.) 06 Oct 2020 03:03:57
There was a meaning to it. On social
Media A Rennes fan was giving off about Rafinha leaning and saying was going too a second rate club and are fish and chips eating so and so. So it was banter back at this fan. Lol. 👍👍👍😂😂.

2.) 06 Oct 2020 10:05:21
Fair enough then Batts, my nerves couldn’t take anymore last night, had a horrible feeling of it failing at the last hour!

3.) 06 Oct 2020 13:21:47
They must have been pretty confident of it happening to have posted that.

4.) 06 Oct 2020 15:01:22
When things sounded fishy and the chips were down, Kinnear made a great selection from the menu.

5.) 06 Oct 2020 23:42:49
I miss real fish and chips!

6.) 07 Oct 2020 14:33:54
Me too.

7.) 07 Oct 2020 17:32:37
Me too! Makes me hungry every time I see a pic!

22 Sep 2020 11:44:29
Leeds in advanced talks with Real Sociedad and Spanish international Diego Llorente.

1.) 22 Sep 2020 13:00:31
Deal worth around £20m apparently.

2.) 22 Sep 2020 21:10:40
Agreed in principle. Another Spanish international. Captain Coops will be bench leader.

3.) 22 Sep 2020 21:15:36
'Club captain'

4.) 22 Sep 2020 21:19:54
Additionally, and interestingly, Pabs has just followed him on Instagram. maybe the old man is helping to bring the talent in from Spain!?

24 Aug 2020 16:36:38
On staycation in the Lake District just ear wigging a family of Leeds supporters saying that Rodrigo and Cabral could be our forward line next season, can you imagine!

Yeah I know it’s all paper talk disguised to push advertising at us, but just for a moment., . get those two up front and then never mind two new centre halves we could play rush goalie.

1.) 24 Aug 2020 19:40:25
There does seem to be a lot of talk about these two so could happen.

2.) 24 Aug 2020 20:52:13
Well based on current rumours I’d say
Kent maybe

Probably right now.

See Bubs at the U23 victory away at Wolves today, despite our misgivings about his stubbornness to change no Premier League Manager watches their team more i’m sure.

Great performances all over once again great to see Rodrigo on the pitch but even better to see how he was with the kids guy has a lot of class.

No Geldhardt is that because he’s getting a rum on Monday, but no Roberts either so could be as you were.

Drameh looked better than Ayling today, meant as a compliment to both players and yes it was Wolves reserves but he has such potential.

Not sure i’ve seen us have such a talented crop of players as we do now, five six have an excellent chance of making the step up.

I am hoping for a much improved performance from first team after 8 days between games as for the first time this season we lacked energy last time out against Voldemort’s lot.

Think we’ve a very tough run of fixtures in April but even forcing myself to look pessimistically at our remaining fixtures I still see us collecting 15 more points, which would be amazing.

Even more if we have everyone fit and available.

Think Fulham might just leapfrog Newcastle or pull another team in, like it to be Brighton just so we could go for Ben White, but I reckon he will go to a top four side.

1.) 05 Mar 2021 18:53:53
Which one is Voldemort? Dean Smith or John Terry 🤣

Drameh will have the most successful career of that group ( just don't tell Georgey 😊) along with Geldhard.

The late 90s group were just as good too Class
Kewell, Smith, Woodgate, Harte, Robinson and to a lesser extent McPhail and Jones had (very) successful careers

I think Fulham will probably finish 18th and go down rather than Newcastle or Brighton but it will be very, very tight indeed.

2.) 05 Mar 2021 19:16:38
Maybe Roberts has been nicked for impersonating a footballer?

3.) 05 Mar 2021 21:36:29
Baz You underestimate Niall. I believe he can make it with us as a PL player.

27 Feb 2021 19:55:19
Rather thought this was going to be the case today without Grealish I think they’d have taken a draw but once they nicked a goal they have two very good centre backs and an excellent keeper in Martinez.

Most worryingly we were very laboured slow moving the ball lacking energy from start to finish.

Our midfield found wanting from start to finish today not Phillips either think we need two, three exceptional midfielders for next season.

1.) 27 Feb 2021 20:01:44
When games are tight set plays count someone let belisa know this.

2.) 27 Feb 2021 20:03:49
We do although I have very high expectations for Geldhart.
Klich needs replacing. Tries hard but too slow, gives away too many stupid free kicks and is creating very little at this level.
No clue why we didn't try Llorente in DM. Struck is solid as CB but not ready for DM.

3.) 27 Feb 2021 20:42:25
Unlucky guys but we’ll take that 1 without our talisman, I see a lot of anti football remarks aimed at villa but not our fault that ye didn’t test our (injured) keeper, delighted for el gazhi getting the goal, I expected ye to be better tbh a lot of your players were quiet but I think our defence played great, not that often this season that bamford doesn’t get a sniff, Hernandez looks a proper t**t delighted he got booked rolling around like someone shot him and 2 seconds later he’s up trying to start a brawl trying to get targett sent off his first involvement, need to take off those blinkers there was plenty of play acting on both sides. until next year fellas 👊 best of luck in the rest of the season your having a great first season well played👏👏👏.

4.) 27 Feb 2021 21:32:36
Klich was a world beater and best player in the leauge start of the season, so what has changed? You don’t become poor over night

As for stuijk man is quailty but play him in right place belisa again it’s like he needs to give others a chance.

5.) 27 Feb 2021 22:50:02
Whack, targett could easily have had 2 straight reds today. The Hernandez one for me should have been a yellow. You cannot jump into the back of someone with your arm like that. I don't think it was intentional hence the yellow.
His studs down the back of Raphinhos calf was a yellow for sure and I've seen them given as red.
You got a lucky goal (not an intended pass, he slipped trying to shoot, but a very well taken one by El Ghazi) .
Mings was excellent and you defended very well.
We just were not at the races today for some reason but that's life.

6.) 28 Feb 2021 00:19:11
Whack agree lots of anti football rubbish you took three points without grealish and you don’t get three points without him lucky you played Leeds

If you need a soft touch hope Leeds roll into town

Abmaayna never got a hat trick Ipswich never scored three goals Brighton don’t hold on to wins

Lots of patterns get broken when playing Leeds. why thought?

7.) 28 Feb 2021 00:54:21
Another ref might of given targett the second yellow but never a straight red in any part of that game, targett never touched raphs calf he caught him on his heal maybe u need to watch that 1 back, I do agree he was lucky not to get a second yellow but when hernandez was rolling around in agony he was up 3 seconds later giving it socks so the proof was in the eating of the pudding, he barely touched him it was simply an effort to get the chap sent off and rightly got booked himself. I might argue that klich was also lucky to stay on the pitch for constant fouling, even after getting booked he gave away a lot of frees, nice moment at half time between el gazhi and MB, respect there from their time together.

8.) 28 Feb 2021 01:44:14
Very lack lustre performance. Created nothing. No energy.
As has been said. Players in wrong positions. Nothing to praise on our side. We had 90 min to equalise and couldn’t.
They never broke sweat. Way too easy for them.

9.) 28 Feb 2021 03:33:54
Berm Klich is clearly carrying a knock and looks like he need a rest.

10.) 28 Feb 2021 09:26:34
At the end of the day. They won. We never bothered them. got to take it as is.
I would have loved to have stuffed them. Should never have given the. That goal last year.
But. Today. They deserved to win.

11.) 28 Feb 2021 10:50:33
Don't disagree about Klich, whack. He's a liability but 2nd only looked like a yellow because of a diving dwarf who went down 5 steps too late.
I've seen the Raph back a couple of times and he goes down the leg from the lower calf to the heal, maybe watch it again yourself.

27 Feb 2021 18:51:51
Bring on Pablo and Gerhardt.

1.) 27 Feb 2021 20:28:30
I would even be happy to see Greenwood playing as a No10. I would happily take Gelhart but I think he is more an out and out striker.

24 Feb 2021 16:01:29
What a great day to be a Leeds fan. Ok we may not have dominated but the luck we were dealt at Wolves simply revered itself for Southampton.

So impressed with a number of performances last night especially Rafhina and Dallas, fantastic for our young keeper to get that record and equally delighted for Llorente to finally play a whole game.

Think Costa gets a lot of unfair stick personally thought he was out best player first few games of the season and he has the ability to go by a player with skill where as Jack has other attributes and is certainly off his game just now.

But think we have to think of this as our ‘current squad’ whilst admittedly Roberts has some less than impressive performances it’s very difficult to establish yourself when your in and out, but fair point play better and you’ll stay in.

Thought all credit to our Manager last night every time we lose there are so many comments observations on what Bub could or should have done yet when we win generally only players are mentioned.

Shacks injury may have forced the issue but took nerve to play Llorente (not use Alioski) to put Costa on to change tactics to mire direct second half.

All hail Bub all hail him, shame he can’t fix the pitch though not certain if it’s an improvement. Liked someone’s suggestion earlier with no crowds at present using an alternative venue.

10th with all the injuries we’ve had, brilliant!

1.) 24 Feb 2021 16:26:58
Class you’re are correct that not many folks praise Bielsa when we win. Also the likes of Roberts and Costa it is up to them to prove themselves when given the chance. I have no doubt that both of these individuals have the capacity to go up a notch or two. Now is their time to prove it if they want to continue their careers with Leeds United.
I looks like Bielsa is giving them their chance, hopefully they will take it.

2.) 24 Feb 2021 16:39:43
I’d say Meslier had a rough game against Arsenal and was unlucky against wolves but come back with a good performance. Signs of a quality keepers and so young . I think considering we lost two new centre backs through injury and we have been missing Phillips as well we have done well . If we can start with a settled back 4 next season that would be a bonus .

3.) 24 Feb 2021 17:03:12
Agree about costa

But oeople don’t praise belisa when we win? You joking he is the most priased manager in the media on telly and the fans have made him a god. talk about statues and stands etc . he gets more praise than Jesus.

4.) 24 Feb 2021 17:50:56
Dont think media, pundits and fans praise him, he gets a lot of attention because he is unconventional in his style of football, even himself as a person he does come across as perhaps odd. People in general don’t know what to make of him. Some French media and pundits whilst he was at Marseille described him as autistic. !
For me there’s always a little madness in brilliance and El Loco has it.

23 Feb 2021 18:59:56
Game crying out for a Pablo masterclass second half.

1.) 23 Feb 2021 19:55:05
Pablo masterclass! I be settling for the Raph steamroller show, super talent

Well done lads.

2.) 23 Feb 2021 20:04:48
Happy that Pablo 💜 is getting game time

As for Raphinia superlative.

You’re so right Ed

Throw some agents into the mix, allegedly our keepers agent is spouting about all the top teams wanting his client after only a few months into his first full time contract!

There was a good programme on BT sport after Citeh game last night covered how the fans had been ostracised, marginalised from the modern game.

But that the average fan, ultimately still holds the greatest power as we’ve seen from the football without its supporters isn’t sustainable nor marketable.

Sadly i’ve seen estimates that up to 60% of the current 92 face a genuine risk of failing, many of whom annual budget probably would not exceed Neymars monthly salary, that’s not progress!

But when you read what Barcelona with the help of the Spanish government are up to with regards to FFP again sadly not surprising.

Good review Ed, but talk about the world of football then and now. perfectly encapsulated by the Neymar cry baby story and the Legend that was Bill Shankly and his insistence that Liverpool could not afford NOT to buy Ian Saint John.

{Ed001's Note - Neymar drives me up the wall, he is the embodiment of all that is wrong with the modern game. Sadly the game has changed and most of the change has not made it better. I fear this pandemic has seen the beginning of the end of a 92-team football league pyramid system in England, as finances have been hit so hard. A lot of ground has been lost to esports as well. It is worrying times for football, so to see that tit Neymar whining because the PSG fans are not telling him how great he is for doing a little bit of training does annoy me, to say the least.} Become a Patron!

You’re right Ed Seagulls replaced previous nickname as Dolphins not very effective in drowning out the Palace Eagles, chant but it was certainly an easier chant.

The main chant many years previously and still used today prior to the change to Seagulls was Albiiiiiion again not the catchiest.

Having played for Brighton’s youth team at the time of the change, i can remember the change to the shirts and training kit, there never was a Dolphin on the kit though just the letters bhafc

Also had trials for Southampton, but we all have our skeletons.

{Ed001's Note - don't worry I am sure no one will hold it against you. Well maybe...}
