Kalvin Phillips I have no words 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Cannot believe a premier team haven’t signed him so glad they didn’t.

1.) 15 Feb 2020 17:26:35
Brilliant last 2 games. Rest did him good!

2.) 15 Feb 2020 17:57:19
They tried and we said no.

David Ornstein just posted at Eddie on his way to Leeds for a medical, excellent signing, boys a natural goal scorer I believe it’s going to happen MOT.

Speaking with a guy who’s son is in the Brighton academy same class as BennWhite said he is an exceptional prospect in the John Stones mould (Mmmm)

Having said that no Brighton fan was a fan of Tommy Elphick, huge glee when they got the money they did for him (Brighton awash with centre halves) I actually played against Tommy Elphick and Lewis Dunks father in my semi pro days (animals both of em) that being said the guy said Nathan Jones (Brighton coach) then Luton now Stoke Manager said Ben White was best prospect at entire club, so be glad to get him if it comes off MOT.

1.) 15 Jun 2019 06:24:10
Useful info Class, thanks.

2.) 16 Jun 2019 17:02:27
My friend played with Ben White when he was on loan at Newport County and I know it was league 2 but he said he was class and really good on the ball but he is quite slight.

Well that was a roller coaster, is what it is and cannot truly say I’m shocked in modern football. Think it was a culmination of other Swansea players on Premier league money being shipped of their wage bill, coupled with their PR disaster about signing up for season tickets left them in fear of their fans voting with their feet.

Feel sorry for the young lad, but will still end up a multi millionaire so keeping perspective here. Agree it was still a great window for us especially keeper wise. Our greatest signing was in the summer and that’s Bub. With virtually the same squad he has us top of the league on merit, irrespective of who comes back and future injuries and suspensions nobody in this league has a better Manager Coach than we have right now. It may be bumpy but I absolutely believe HE will get us up this year. MOT.

1.) 01 Feb 2019 09:21:56
A great window we are a 2 bit outfit.

2.) 01 Feb 2019 09:27:26

What a rubbish comment

I totally agree with you.

3.) 01 Feb 2019 09:42:00
Just a case of Swansea playing hardball. They held all the Aces and as soon as the Bony deal went thro all bets were off. Not very gentlemanly but that's business.

4.) 01 Feb 2019 09:58:52
Don’t mind being a 2 bit outfit, as long as we stay in the top two and get promoted! The most important bit of business we did this year is Bielsa and his crew! We spent serious money there and it’s being rewarded! We are bringing on under 23 players and showing that we are a club where good young players can shine, develop and get real opportunities. If that’s 2 bit, wonderful!

5.) 01 Feb 2019 15:21:23
We didn’t get the one player he asked for and was on his laptop.
Good post class.

6.) 01 Feb 2019 17:50:54
Thought the one player he really wanted (me too) was a goalie and he got him? Bielsa seemed at pains to say Orta brought him James and he approved of aortas choice, rather than it being Bielsa’s man? Don’t get the sense that Bielsa feels let down, which is always my worry because he might walk away then. Never quite got why winger was the priority. Thought No10 was most important to enable Hernandez to go back wide. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

7.) 01 Feb 2019 20:38:34
He didn't ask for him Aus. Orta located james and bielsa didn't ask for him but didn't say no either.

Not sure I buy into all of the hype around First plays second. I certainly not buying the psychological aspect for the players of beating the pink letter writers. Yesterday’s win was of equal importance and you still get three for a win and one for a draw irrespective of who it is.

Am hoping for a Derby like performance as opposed to a Stoke one and to be honest based on form at the time I had expected the results to have been reversed.

Plus the hype is all driven by the media and sly sports. I firmly believe our support has the potential to make the difference irrespective of who we are playing which is why I’m predicting a tight win. MOT.

1.) 27 Jan 2019 15:00:33
Well said class, our fans can really make a difference. Pressure will definately be on us but Norwich won't want to drop points to us so will be a close game. I just hope our defence can be tight and we don't start by giving them a goal start. They are a more settled side from the team we played at their ground. The longer we stop them scoring the more frustrated they will be, I can see a few tough tackles going in. Needs a good fair ref!

2.) 27 Jan 2019 16:21:19
The good thing is that we should be back to a real defence, rather than makeshift. Hopefully KP moves in for Forshaw, and we regain the spine that got us mostly to where we are. I’m confident, as always!

3.) 27 Jan 2019 16:25:28
We need someone to take care of Pukki. If they're not up to it, could be sickening.

4.) 27 Jan 2019 18:41:49
Mezzer, you made me chuckle, a good fair ref? I haven't seen one at ER yet and I don't hold out much hope of us getting one this season.

5.) 27 Jan 2019 20:51:50
I'm always the optimist stafford, but understand what you are saying.

6.) 27 Jan 2019 22:03:38
Pukki played when we won 3-0 at their place, but then so did a fella named Saiz.

Teacher says to the class, ok Children who knows what the word contagious means, and can you use contagious in a sentence?

Little Jenny puts her hand up and says Miss, Miss, oooo Miss I know.

Teacher replies ok Jenny come out front and tell the rest of the class.

Jenny stands out front and says, well contagious is all about painting!

The teacher says I don’t believe so Jenny but not wishing to embarrass the child in front of the rest of the class so quickly adds ok Jenny how would you use contagious in a sentence?

Jenny replies my dad was looking out the front window yesterday and our neighbour was painting the front of his house with only a two inch brush, and my Dad said.

It’s going to take the contagious!

An old man wanted to plant his tomatoes, but lived alone. Come the time to plant his annual tomato garden, it was very difficult work as the ground was rock hard.

His only son, Vincent, who used to help him, was in prison.

The old man wrote a letter to his son and described his predicament:

“Dear Vincent, I am feeling pretty sad because it looks like I won’t be able to plant my tomato garden this year. I’m just getting too old to be digging up such a large garden plot. I know if you were here my troubles would be over. I know you would be happy to dig the plot for me, like in the old days. Love, Papa. ”

A few days later he received a letter from his son.

“Dear Papa, PLEASE PLEASE Don’t dig up the garden. That’s where the bodies are buried. Love, Vinnie. ”

At 4 a.m. the very next morning, the local police arrived and dug up the entire area without finding any bodies. They apologised to the old man and left.

That same day the old man received another letter from his son.

“Dear Papa, Go ahead and plant the tomatoes now. That’s the best I could do under the circumstances. ”.

Hear Leeds man one of the patients at the general hospital has recently been put on one of the new Dyson ventilators.

Reports say he’s picking up nicely.

28 Mar 2020 16:27:40
A suspected Covid-19 male patient is lying in bed in the hospital, wearing an oxygen mask over his mouth and nose. A young student female nurse appears and gives him a partial sponge bath.

"Nurse, "' he mumbles from behind the mask, "are my testicles black? "

Embarrassed, the young nurse replies, "I don't know, Sir. I'm only here to wash your upper body and feet. "

He struggles to ask again, "Nurse, please check for me. Are my testicles black? "

Concerned that he might elevate his blood pressure and heart rate from worrying about his testicles, she overcomes her embarrassment and pulls back the covers.
She raises his gown, holds his manhood in one hand and his testicles gently in the other.
She looks very closely and says,

"There's nothing wrong with them, Sir. They look fine. "

The man slowly pulls off his oxygen mask, smiles at her, and says very slowly,
"Thank you very much.

That was wonderful. Now listen very,
very, closely:

"Are - my - test - results - back? "

Brilliantly summed up Phil, spilt milk. Personally feel very sorry for young James, but pretty sure he will still enjoy a fantastic career and let’s hope it’s with us in the premiership.

Not sure Aus I agree with the premise, however, this is an entirely different generation (include myself in that) to the more disciplined less materialistic war generation.

And preventing connection can only be sustained for so long with, advisory, even the hard tell. Think it would require a form of martial law to manage sixty million people indoors or social distancing for that long.

Even then t pandemics start with one infection if you wait 8 months if you’ve never contracted it what stops you getting it once lockdown is released. This is where the so called herd immunity kicks in you have to have greater numbers either recovered or immune.

That being said Aus politically what leader wants to be the leader in history that was found to have released the lockdown too soon.

Hope you and all your family are safe and well mate.

Think this will happen, and agree tv money will be the biggest driver. However, I also think the government realises the lockdown only mitigates risk it doesn’t move anything forwards and impact upon society ) social and economic) as a whole to go on indefinitely has the potential to be as catastrophic as the virus itself.

Therefore, I believe governments will actually encourage resumption of football worldwide (behind closed doors) for the euphoric placebo type lift it will provide for its populations. Phew that was a bit heavy, I need to get out more!

You make a valid point Canada, but no sign of Premier teams offering to even defer their vast salaries. How can levy at Spurs (paid himself 2 million pound bonus just for their stadium) with a multi billionaire Chairman ask the British tax payer (for that’s where governments money is raised) to subsidise their employees?

How can these players continue to pick up their £1 million per month salaries knowing the furlough 80% pay may result in all these background employees being subjected to significant financial hardship. Furlough should have been Company means tested and Companies declaring an agreed profit for 2019-20 should have been made to have paid their workforce.

When you look at the sacrifices our hero’s on the front line are making against the likes of the greedy morally corrupt chairman of these premier league clubs, it’s disgraceful shame on em all!
