Well that was a roller coaster, is what it is and cannot truly say I’m shocked in modern football. Think it was a culmination of other Swansea players on Premier league money being shipped of their wage bill, coupled with their PR disaster about signing up for season tickets left them in fear of their fans voting with their feet.

Feel sorry for the young lad, but will still end up a multi millionaire so keeping perspective here. Agree it was still a great window for us especially keeper wise. Our greatest signing was in the summer and that’s Bub. With virtually the same squad he has us top of the league on merit, irrespective of who comes back and future injuries and suspensions nobody in this league has a better Manager Coach than we have right now. It may be bumpy but I absolutely believe HE will get us up this year. MOT.

1.) 01 Feb 2019 09:21:56
A great window we are a 2 bit outfit.

2.) 01 Feb 2019 09:27:26

What a rubbish comment

I totally agree with you.

3.) 01 Feb 2019 09:42:00
Just a case of Swansea playing hardball. They held all the Aces and as soon as the Bony deal went thro all bets were off. Not very gentlemanly but that's business.

4.) 01 Feb 2019 09:58:52
Don’t mind being a 2 bit outfit, as long as we stay in the top two and get promoted! The most important bit of business we did this year is Bielsa and his crew! We spent serious money there and it’s being rewarded! We are bringing on under 23 players and showing that we are a club where good young players can shine, develop and get real opportunities. If that’s 2 bit, wonderful!

5.) 01 Feb 2019 15:21:23
We didn’t get the one player he asked for and was on his laptop.
Good post class.

6.) 01 Feb 2019 17:50:54
Thought the one player he really wanted (me too) was a goalie and he got him? Bielsa seemed at pains to say Orta brought him James and he approved of aortas choice, rather than it being Bielsa’s man? Don’t get the sense that Bielsa feels let down, which is always my worry because he might walk away then. Never quite got why winger was the priority. Thought No10 was most important to enable Hernandez to go back wide. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

7.) 01 Feb 2019 20:38:34
He didn't ask for him Aus. Orta located james and bielsa didn't ask for him but didn't say no either.

Not sure I buy into all of the hype around First plays second. I certainly not buying the psychological aspect for the players of beating the pink letter writers. Yesterday’s win was of equal importance and you still get three for a win and one for a draw irrespective of who it is.

Am hoping for a Derby like performance as opposed to a Stoke one and to be honest based on form at the time I had expected the results to have been reversed.

Plus the hype is all driven by the media and sly sports. I firmly believe our support has the potential to make the difference irrespective of who we are playing which is why I’m predicting a tight win. MOT.

1.) 27 Jan 2019 15:00:33
Well said class, our fans can really make a difference. Pressure will definately be on us but Norwich won't want to drop points to us so will be a close game. I just hope our defence can be tight and we don't start by giving them a goal start. They are a more settled side from the team we played at their ground. The longer we stop them scoring the more frustrated they will be, I can see a few tough tackles going in. Needs a good fair ref!

2.) 27 Jan 2019 16:21:19
The good thing is that we should be back to a real defence, rather than makeshift. Hopefully KP moves in for Forshaw, and we regain the spine that got us mostly to where we are. I’m confident, as always!

3.) 27 Jan 2019 16:25:28
We need someone to take care of Pukki. If they're not up to it, could be sickening.

4.) 27 Jan 2019 18:41:49
Mezzer, you made me chuckle, a good fair ref? I haven't seen one at ER yet and I don't hold out much hope of us getting one this season.

5.) 27 Jan 2019 20:51:50
I'm always the optimist stafford, but understand what you are saying.

6.) 27 Jan 2019 22:03:38
Pukki played when we won 3-0 at their place, but then so did a fella named Saiz.

10 Jan 2019 19:48:11
Make my transfer window if the latest Fraser Forster rumours were true!

1.) 10 Jan 2019 22:00:09
The latest rumour is it’s not him!

2.) 11 Jan 2019 00:17:58
Hearing Joe Hart from relatively good info.

01 Jan 2019 22:07:36
Unfortunately had to work today, self employed what can you do, Sas we lost so not a great day. But just checking we are still top yes?

And this team that desperately needs reinforcements (I would have a couple keeper and a scoring winger) is the same team minus a few injured player which will return to us yes? Phew thought we had been relegated.

Still the best season we’ve had for many many seasons and the second half of it will be just as exciting.

27 Dec 2018 21:43:02
Quite like Darlow, (great shot stopper, crosses needs work on) but really rate Christian Walton on loan from Brighton to Wigan, England u19 keeper honestly think he could play at the highest level and wouldn’t be silly money as Brighton very strong with keepers.

1.) 28 Dec 2018 09:33:01
Walton is an interesting name, don’t know much about him but as long as he is good enough now, sounds like a good idea and a bit more off radar!

2.) 28 Dec 2018 11:22:27
Would prefer an older more experienced keeper as back up and to teach BPF and help him improve rather than someone to come in and relegate him to the bench.

3.) 30 Dec 2018 16:40:18
I see Westwood didn't start for Wednesday yesterday I wonder if that's telling us anything.

Reading with great interest the varied and diverse take on today’s results. That being said every single one is valid because the pain is excruciating ALAW

That being said, when I look where we have come from, incredible, when you look where we are now from where Radz started, thank you, no bloke with an ounce of savvy would set out to lose£170 million but maybe just maybe that’s all the money he had if it was that’s ok too.

I remember in the darkest of days when Hock et al were in residence we ALL used to say we could accept a lack of talent but none of us could accept a lack of effort in a Leeds shirt.

Irrespective of our differing and valid viewpoints this Leeds Team have for the first time in a very long time ALMOST performed as well as its supporters over the season and for that I say thank you to every last one of them. I am proud to be a Leeds fan, especially this year and if it’s Wembley I’ll do my best to be there but if it’s championship I’ll be here what’s the alternative, really who could I choose over my magnificent Leeds United.

1.) 23 Apr 2019 06:31:51
Great post class, it ain't over until it is. I think this group will still do it, the playoffs are a lottery, but there is no team better than ours in the division when on song and when you poke a tiger you know what happens. The team will feel gutted, but will have fire in their belly, so we MOT through the playoffs if that is our destiny.

2.) 23 Apr 2019 10:08:27
Great post Class. I reminded everyone last winter that for the playoffs there is on team that will come steaming through the pack (Villa) and one team who have shone brightly will slip away (Leeds) .
With no idea at that time I just hoped it wasn't us on the slippery slope, but sad to say.

3.) 23 Apr 2019 11:26:38
Nicely put Class. On the money subject though, I really believe that Radz was keeping an eye on the FFP rules, after all, if we can get fined £200,000 because a bloke stood on a public footpath what would happen if we broke a real, actual rule?

21 Apr 2019 10:25:48
Solidarity brothers, we should be united against the common enemy. That being said, first time I’ve stopped sulking since Friday.

Until my six year old Grandson, said it’s ok Grandad (feeling old at 56!) I’ll support Leeds too (he’s in the Chelsea academy) if you like and you’re already at the top.

1.) 21 Apr 2019 11:32:35
Wonderful are kids aren't they at putting things into perspective!

MOT. 🧒🧒.

2.) 21 Apr 2019 13:16:32
After the game on Friday I headed to the cinema to hide in a dark room for two hours! When I came out I popped in M and S at White Rose still wearing my gear. At the checkout the cashier noting my scarf said” you must be gutted after today”, she was the first person I’d spoken to after the game. I replied” yep and I really don’t want to talk about it”, ‘ oh well ‘ she said, “ at least you had a nice day for it”! Pass me the complaint forms!

19 Apr 2019 10:49:58
Tough game today (they all are this time of the season) but Wigan gave Norwich a good game and were unfortunate not to win.

So whilst goal difference is important points on the board is the most important thing today. Surreal that I feel both calm and confident, but felt exactly the same last week so here’s to another win. Really have a feeling Tyler Roberts will have a big game today, and will score. MOT.

1.) 19 Apr 2019 11:14:35
Norwich are choking and Leeds can sense it. That's why we are not looking backwards with fear at Sheff Utd, but forwards, with lip licking anticipation, at the Canaries. Leeds have the right mentality to be champions if you see what I mean. Norwich have the scared mindset and we are hunting them down.

18 Apr 2019 10:59:20
Curious as to why Halme has dropped out of favour, and Beradi definitely ahead of Appo in the picking stakes. Whilst I admire the legend that is Beradi, on purely football terms Halme is far and away a better centre back.

Maybe Bub thinks it’s the pressure and significance of the situation. But then who am I to question Bub if I was manager Harrison wouldn’t have been on the pitch to have scored the winner!

1.) 18 Apr 2019 11:41:36
I see what you did there Harry.

2.) 18 Apr 2019 12:34:39
Aaapo has not been playing much under 23s recently not sure if he is carrying a knock or has been working with the first team. Bielsa prefers to stick with his chosen players and those are the ones he uses for plan b if needed. I like all 3 of our under 23 CBs. Aaapo, struick and Diaz. Struick has really come on during the season, big lad, getting more and more comfortable on the ball and scores. He could be the surprise of the three.

3.) 18 Apr 2019 12:47:05
Surely experience is better at this stage of the season? It will take nerves of steel in these last few games.

4.) 18 Apr 2019 22:32:10
Diaz better as DM in my book. All his best games have come from that position. Think he is a bit iffy at CB.

Brilliantly summed up Phil, spilt milk. Personally feel very sorry for young James, but pretty sure he will still enjoy a fantastic career and let’s hope it’s with us in the premiership.

Spot on Spanish, the noise at the goal was epic!
Comaraderie on this Site has got us through this season too and so what if Norwich are winning we can only focus on our own games and it ain’t going to be boring!

Don’t actually think it matters with Millwall Berm, they’re always up against us plus there’s a real possibility of relegation (with any luck! ) so it’s a must win for them against a side we should expect to beat if we are to be promoted.

I said a prayer to the football gods that that abhorrent little person Harris side finally got there just rewards. Don’t forget beating Everton previous round with the guy punching it in and Harris screaming for the screens to be turned off before anyone saw it!

Laughed out loud when the Defender who deliberately rugby tackled Murray to the floor so they scored their first goal was the one to miss the final kick. Live in Sussex so know lots Of Brighton supporters so genuinely pleased for them. Brighton still talk about the Leeds travelling support and all want us to make it thus year.

BBC coverage incredible with poor plucky Wall? Should have been two sending offs for them before the one they got. And what is the latest on their recent racism charge? Oh they don’t play in white do they, promoted and Wall relegated in the same season would be a brilliant outcome for me.

Think the difference today Wex is they never made a single defensive mistake, unfortunately we made a couple of crucial ones. Still, how do the run ins compare?
