Any news Alf or lad. Any new players being mentioned?
1.) 27 Aug 2025 13:15:48
Buonanotte's agent had a meeting with Leeds today, but he had a meeting with Dortmund yesterday.
2.) 27 Aug 2025 14:08:05
nothing new that I am hearing unfortunately.
3.) 27 Aug 2025 14:23:28
I fear our window is done.
4.) 27 Aug 2025 14:43:26
Thanks guys. Can’t compete with dorrmund I don’t think. Unless he likes mushy peas. Yuk.
5.) 27 Aug 2025 15:50:30
Brighton would rather loan him to an English club, as Buonanotte is six months from counting as homegrown.
6.) 27 Aug 2025 22:24:15
Nothing Aus frustratingly.
19 Aug 2025 09:04:17
If rumours correct about Leeds wanting 17 mill for mez. They bonkers for 5 with add ons. Nobody going to pay17 .
1.) 19 Aug 2025 11:28:14
They're not, we want £4m.
2.) 19 Aug 2025 11:59:30
no chance youd have thought. be lucky to get rid on a free imo his reputation is shot.
15 Aug 2025 03:02:36
Rumour has it that the focus now is on shifting the players out. Not signings.
1.) 15 Aug 2025 07:23:55
I would find that hard to believe…. We are definitely still looking for that FB cover, LW and #10.
2.) 15 Aug 2025 07:50:17
And striker, striker, striker!
What we've got so far in that department is not enough for a PL campaign.
3.) 15 Aug 2025 08:43:07
Would make sense, 3 or 4 to go inc Meslier and Bamford. hopefully quickly and for decent fees. Only couple of weeks left in window.
4.) 15 Aug 2025 08:43:08
Yeah. Not the case at all.
5.) 15 Aug 2025 08:45:07
We need to move some out before more can come in, or we may be screwed on wages.
I would shift Meslier, Gnonto*, Piroe*, struijk*, Schmidt (leaving) and maybe Tanaka if we are offered 40+million and buy BIG BIG BIG players at the close of the window.
* Because of their value. The lower table and champo teams are flogging players of lower quality than these for 25 mil+. Gnonto and Piroe should fetch 25 mil each.
6.) 15 Aug 2025 09:59:13
Thank fu#k you're not in charge!
7.) 15 Aug 2025 10:41:11
Shift Tanaka? No way I think he will be a stand out alongside Stach this season!
8.) 15 Aug 2025 11:12:50
Mo, which are these lower quality players?
9.) 15 Aug 2025 11:43:18
Holy Jebus Mo! And replace them with what exactly? Subuteo men? If you want better quality, you pay more!?
10.) 15 Aug 2025 16:44:35
Woah woah, before we all wet the bed, they're all quality, but if it means we can buy a worldy then do it.
I love Tanaka but if someone offered 50/ 60mil for him, I would sell.
And when I mean big players I mean big players. Role the dice, spend big, do a forest.
12 Aug 2025 03:11:59
If it's dobvyk incoming. Thoughts. Half decent stats and in top flight but is he better than piroe? Not sure.
1.) 12 Aug 2025 08:46:41
He won the La Liga golden boot the season before last and you're wondering if he's better than Piroe?
2.) 12 Aug 2025 09:25:03
Aus, Piroe was woeful again Saturday I feel now at this stage keifer Moores an improvement on him,
Dovbyk now seems the only believable link to our biggest problem.
3.) 12 Aug 2025 09:35:22
Oh. We going that far back?
4.) 12 Aug 2025 09:49:14
I'd like Dovbyk, but also why not Mitrovic, he's got proven PL performance. Please stop wasting time on Muniz, if he does come he'll likely cost far too much.
5.) 12 Aug 2025 10:34:20
Mitrovic too old and too expensive.
6.) 12 Aug 2025 10:40:49
Agree about Muniz. Another pax. Move on.
7.) 12 Aug 2025 10:41:32
Sunderland in for dov.
8.) 12 Aug 2025 11:42:01
Sunderland in for Dovbyk, surprise surprise. They'll likely land him whilst we're still pratting about deciding whether or not to make an offer. There's an old saying in business, "don't let the perfect get in the way of the good", so forget Muniz and make a good offer for Dovbyk ASAP!
9.) 12 Aug 2025 13:10:00
Is there any concrete links with Dov and Sunderland? I honestly think we will go for him. Club needs a #9.
10.) 12 Aug 2025 13:39:20
Concrete as how? Sighting is about semi concrete as we get. Sunderland just sign them. See how it goes.
11.) 12 Aug 2025 14:06:16
I've heard Leeds admire him, but the chances are low that he will come here.
12.) 12 Aug 2025 15:37:51
Sunderland rumours page states they are about to unveil a huge number 9 but no names he is one linked
I’d suggest on that he will end up there
We are being linked with sargant again.
13.) 12 Aug 2025 17:41:30
It was said that Chelsea had put in a clause that Guii had to be the starting no 9. If that's the case then the imminent arrival at S/ land is likely to be a back up and I don't think Dovbyk wants to be no 2. Ferguson has pushed him down the order and he wants to leave.
14.) 12 Aug 2025 20:34:19
Sunderland signed a huge 6'2" from Getafe on loan. Alderate. Not a striker but a CB/ FB. They can't have any money left in the piggy bank.
15.) 12 Aug 2025 22:35:45
It's frigid annoying I know that much mot.
16.) 13 Aug 2025 08:30:02
Correction. Alderate is not a loan but a 4 year deal for a fee of about £10m. They must still have money in the bank as they're not looking for a striker (they have 3) but might needs a new winger.
11 Aug 2025 11:01:57
Any sniffs guys in the know? Heard a name being mentioned today?
1.) 11 Aug 2025 11:36:13
Grealish gone to Everton imagine him against Schmidt!
2.) 11 Aug 2025 12:23:41
Won't sleep tonight now LL!
3.) 11 Aug 2025 13:18:48
Bogle will handle him ;-)
4.) 11 Aug 2025 16:42:55
Oh good he will be rolling all over I can't fecking abide the bloke.
5.) 11 Aug 2025 17:21:14
Boe looking like out till Xmas so nice heard.
6.) 12 Aug 2025 01:00:17
Really long?
7.) 12 Aug 2025 13:14:59
I had but now sources saying he’s back training on grass if he is long term we need a replacement not a back up.

Always nervous about prem league games but I'm going out on a limb here. I think we can should and will win. I think our belief and team spirit is improving. Don't think manager or players are thinking anything other than a win. And as much as Parker can talk the talk about going at us he will def Parker the bus again.
I'm going for a bashing. 1-4
Rodon again. Ba and 2 from cal. Don't let me down boys.
1.) 18 Oct 2025 07:57:27
That's the spirit Aus! Though with the absentees we have its a tough ask, not sure with JH left BA right we have the same threat. Maybe there is a thought to go to 442, dunno. Think it's going to be a hard fought 1 or 2 nil.
2.) 18 Oct 2025 09:08:47
Whichever alien abducted Aus give him back, I feel uneasy with this positive energy coming from this new doppelganger posing as what was known as the new Baz. ?
That's the spirit whoever you are. ?.
3.) 18 Oct 2025 10:54:32
So with Okafor and Gnoto out, whatever your thoughts regarding Ramazani, to let him go out on loan without a replacement coming in, beggar's belief.
4.) 18 Oct 2025 11:42:18
I thought the same Feath but was told on another forum Ramazani is also injured!
17 Oct 2025 09:05:08
Reports half prem want Charlie from toulosse. Wasn't it bermo or opti who predicted it was a mistake selling him ?
Somebody or other. ?
Worth 60 odd they reckon.
1.) 17 Oct 2025 10:15:49
I think anyone paying attention knew it would be a bad idea.
Another classic Farke up.
2.) 17 Oct 2025 12:16:32
Baz said it.
3.) 17 Oct 2025 14:29:56
Indeed it was Baz who said that, but you have to consider he is playing in la Liga and with all respect it’s not the same as the Premiership. Maybe Charlie has got what it takes to be a successful CB in the Premiership, who knows? But I am certain they didn’t let him go likely and if he didn’t fit in with Farke’s plans well then he didn’t fit in.
Nobody will really know until some time maybe a Premiership team takes him on and then we’ll see if he’s got what it takes.
Maybe he would fit in with a David Moyes type set up.?
Im happy with our defense at present and I don’t feel like we have really missed out in selling him.
What I am concerned about though is our winger situation, I think it could be a real problem for us, but I’m hoping not.
4.) 17 Oct 2025 19:17:47
If we have a good sell on clause on him then this what it is. He wasn’t going to get playing time under DF.
5.) 17 Oct 2025 20:12:33
Maybe we could buy him back, the sell on clause would be like getting him at a discount. But then he'd likely turn us down with DF still in charge.
6.) 17 Oct 2025 21:53:51
Old news, Charlie wasn’t ready and there were better ahead of him, we should make a few quid and Charlie hopefully has a good career.
His brother Alfie is an even better prospect is on a long contract and can play CB or midfield.
Lot more concerned if Harry Gray doesn’t sign a senior contract the boy could play for England senior team, he has that much potential, but we need him around first team squad now so his family believes this is right for him now, otherwise bigger clubs will swoop in for him.
That would be a travesty.
7.) 17 Oct 2025 22:32:16
I knew who it was. Bit of a tongue in cheek post. But as is said. He wasn’t farkes style of cb. Annoying we could miss out on 20-40 mill though. Big mistake.
8.) 18 Oct 2025 08:00:07
Aus you have to consider the player in these type situations, I’m sure Charlie himself wanted to stay but if he can’t fit in the squad then he can’t advance and a move is the only solution. The club will just have to bite the bullet on that one.
One other player Baz did bleat on about was Leif Davis and that we lost potentially a 20/ 40 Mil player, well no Premiership club snapped him up when Ipswich were relegated.
Fans will often cite these situations as lost opportunities but rarely do these young players go on to be top Premiership players, that might even be the same with Archie, time will tell.
The only youth player that I regret we let go, but we had no choice as the club was going into a financial meltdown was James Milner. There are also arguments for Danny Rose and Aaron Lennon also.
9.) 18 Oct 2025 08:32:56
I agree op. If Charlie had stayed he wouldn't have had many games and not developed. If he had been loaned maybe the same. As not all loans are right or the motivation is not there. But being sold to a team that want you to be their first team cb has forced him to develop or else.
Farke for some reason did not see Charlie as his first choice for whatever reason. So the sale was good for him. You cannot keep them all.
And correct about leif. No one has been clamouring to sign him for the prem.
16 Oct 2025 11:26:33
Did I miss why we have got two boxes under posts now?
{Ed033's Note - No you didn't miss anything
1.) 16 Oct 2025 16:54:43
I’m grateful for the slightly larger font, and double digits is more of a target now and I’m building towards dark mode, it’s a lot of change in one go for the more senior poster.
2.) 16 Oct 2025 17:25:55
I don't understand.! ???.
3.) 17 Oct 2025 08:50:29
What’s with the two boxes?
4.) 17 Oct 2025 08:56:17
Think two boxes are for more than 10 likes. Not sure. Soo 1 and 1 is eleven. Like the bigger print and night and day options. Though. Good upgrades.
5.) 17 Oct 2025 10:15:14
I thought it was for two thumbs up.
Or maybe the site has stopped been handist and lefties can now choose a left-handed thumbs up?
6.) 17 Oct 2025 14:08:44
I've asked Ed twice why the light/ dark toggle has been introduced as I for one can't see myself ever using it, but it seems he doesn't want to say. Looks like a solution in search of a problem to me.
{Ed007's Note - So your not going to use it but are demanding to know why it was set up? Come back with a warrant....
7.) 17 Oct 2025 17:25:25
You can hit both thumb boxes! The first is clearly for when you first read it, so I'd hazard a guess that the second is for if you still like it after a few drinks watching the next game!? ???.
8.) 17 Oct 2025 19:18:34
Maybe the second thumb should be upside down like the ole days?
{Ed007's Note - I thought Leeds Ole days were still to come... ?
9.) 17 Oct 2025 19:24:34
Sorry Ed, but I wasn't demanding, just politely enquiring, and then curious as to why my polite enquiry didn't elicit a response. If you don't want to say, that's fine, I can live with that.
{Ed007's Note - It's no big secret mate, someone suggested it for one of the live chats and it's kind of grown from there with people asking for it as an option, so now people have that "dark mode" option if they want to use it. ?
10.) 17 Oct 2025 20:07:08
OK right. The last time I used a screen with a black background was at work in the early 1980s so it just looks old fashioned to me. ?.
11.) 18 Oct 2025 11:34:57
Still no idea about the double boxes! But it's clearly promoting activity on site!
{Ed001's Note - if I knew what they were I would tell you, but I have no idea either!}
13 Oct 2025 23:21:20
Good Rodon popped one in. Seems like he is on a goal rush. Keep it going lad. Maybe the upgrade in corner deliveries will help him. Confidence must be sky high everytime we get a corner.
1.) 14 Oct 2025 00:05:11
Goodmundson and Okafor play for corners if they can't keep it in which helps Rodons chances.
I'm sure he has a few more goals in him. Maybe it's time to swap struijk out?
2.) 14 Oct 2025 07:17:54
I watched the game, it was a very well taken header by Joe Rodon, it looks clear to me that they are coaching him well at Leeds.
Two penalties from handball against Wales, one being so blatant and the other of Ampadu’s which was never a penalty.
The rules of having a raised arm even when it is slightly are comical at best. The referees must apply logic to these decisions as it’s fairly obvious when there is intent or not. As were both the situations in that particular game.
To make such a rule to keep your arms glued to your hips is not humanly possible in active sport.
I saw a decision given against Tarkowski in a recent Everton game which was up for debate, but if you watched carefully you could see the arm deliberately moving for the ball.
The decision should be only be about movement of arm with intent. It’s pretty clear when intent is involved, you would have to be either blind or just plain stupid not to recognize it, especially with the monitor replay!
3.) 14 Oct 2025 08:17:11
Agree mot and opti.
4.) 14 Oct 2025 19:42:36
Agreed OP. Somewhere I've got a copy of the rules of the game from about the 1990s when FIFA still owned them, and one word that comes up again and again in the handball rule is "intentional". We must get back the concept of intent, and stop giving pens like the one against Amps that are clearly accidental, and also get rid of all that crap about arms being in an "unnatural" position.

Got to keep going aus.
You show them young uns how to go!
2.) 12 Oct 2025 17:49:31
All credit to ya Aus, some effort that, see Mad Mick is still supplying your sports gear ?.
3.) 12 Oct 2025 18:56:52
That explains a lot of your posts, a picture is worth 1000 words.
4.) 12 Oct 2025 19:01:42
Nice one Aus, strength an honour son ?.
5.) 12 Oct 2025 19:22:35
Jaysus is that you Aus?
You look knackered after that 100m sprint ??.
6.) 13 Oct 2025 06:33:40
Every year I say no more but just like the pain Ben. Legs are knackered today. 80% either up or down hill.
7.) 13 Oct 2025 10:11:48
Well done Aus man keeping active is so important, the pain is definitely rewarded with the pleasure albeit mentally afterwards
Well done pal.
8.) 13 Oct 2025 13:04:26
Great work Aus! Well done fella!
9.) 13 Oct 2025 14:49:23
well done Aus - is that a Tough Mudder?
10.) 13 Oct 2025 14:59:52
Great effort Aus, well done:)
11.) 13 Oct 2025 16:31:54
G’day fella, triathlon?
12.) 15 Oct 2025 00:08:39
Well done aus and fair play.
13.) 15 Oct 2025 11:06:03
True grit. 10km. 32 obstacles and 80% hills. It’s a mother.
11 Sep 2025 00:19:23
Hilarious thread. Is it comedy night?
04 Sep 2025 14:08:28
32 isn’t he? A gamble. Heavy pay packet on games goals and assists. Why not.
Yanks prob know better mind. Obviously.
04 Sep 2025 03:55:42
Ridiculous how pretty much average players want and get 100k.
01 Sep 2025 12:13:30
Bloody mez. Never liked him by the way.
01 Sep 2025 08:01:41
Looks like he is eyeing up running his contract down.
18 Oct 2025 11:55:31
Mate. I’d streak along Perth Elizabeth quay if Farke ever tactically played Bogle on the wing.
17 Oct 2025 22:32:16
I knew who it was. Bit of a tongue in cheek post. But as is said. He wasn’t farkes style of cb. Annoying we could miss out on 20-40 mill though. Big mistake.
17 Oct 2025 22:30:04
Agree opti
Don’t think injuries were considered in our transfer policy as we also bought injury prone players and loaned out Rama and didn’t buy solo. Two recently fit players.
These injuiries can be of no excuse as they planned their transfer window.
I also don’t see the point of four gk. Silly. As prev said. Don’t see point with 3 on the bench either.
17 Oct 2025 22:24:17
Agree corkey. This should be a win. They are below us with less points and we should be beating them. I won’t be happy with a point.
17 Oct 2025 08:56:17
