Michael Cuisance rumours still here.
Report saying we have agreed a 20 million euro deal and personal terms.
Would be a great addition at 21 with champions league winning experience.

Sounding like De Paul deal close to being done, great news.
I hope he's up to speed for a tough game against the blunts.

CanadaWhite

1.) 20 Sep 2020 23:43:50
They said that 3 weeks ago.

2.) 21 Sep 2020 09:20:56
Not going to happen then!

3.) 21 Sep 2020 10:41:53
Leedslive saying fee now agreed with Udinese. Who knows!

4.) 21 Sep 2020 13:07:32
Udinese supposedly softened their stance on the fee.

10 Sep 2020 23:49:17
Doesnt mean anything I guess but no Draxler in PSG squad tonight.
Would be awesome but can't see this one happening.

CanadaWhite

1.) 12 Sep 2020 04:12:14
Draxlers attitude to his current situation reminds me of Bale a little, not going to start but not forcing a move away. Suggests he is more bothered about his pay packet than playing matches, not an attitude that will fly under Bielsa. I think we will push De Paul or look at someone new if that's gone cold.

{Ed0666's Note - Paris or Leeds Paris or Leeds?

2.) 12 Sep 2020 12:19:04
Well the nicest city is Leeds. Draxler has obviously never visited.

10 Aug 2020 20:52:16
Geldhart finally signs.
Pretty pleased with this one, was impressed with him this season and think once he gets Bielsa fit he could become a decent player for us.

CanadaWhite

1.) 10 Aug 2020 21:13:01
Agreed and good to get him in for pre season training. Until anyone else arrives he has a real opportunity to impress, hope he takes it.

2.) 10 Aug 2020 22:11:04
Not sure he will be a first team we this season but good to see us snapping up a promising player. Makes a change from when it was always us on the end of such transfers.

3.) 10 Aug 2020 23:07:56
Aiming high as usual.

4.) 11 Aug 2020 07:50:13
I think this lad is a bit different than some of the youngsters we’ve brought in before. He was being talked about in the 5 million class before their financial troubles. It’s not about age with these kids it’s about how good they really are, if they have the potential to do really really well then they can do start to do it at a young age. Ditto Charlie Allen from Linfield only 16. If we can start to see some home nurtured strikers coming through it will be great.

It was interesting during the lockdown when there was no under 23 football, the focus of the under 23s was only on supporting the first team with training, squad and bench if required. That period brought Shackleton, Poveda and Struick back firmly into the reckoning. If you read Bamford on Struick, during lockdown Struick was tried as defensive midfield during murder ball and absolutely nailed it. After that the thought of using him and not White grew.

With a premier league 2 programme that level of youth involvement in the first team is harder, but I’m sure that the kids Bielsa really rates and would call on if needed will be the ones filling out the squad numbers, helping out in training sessions and balancing those duties with the under 23s. In that respect who gets the link job between under 23s and first team is important.

5.) 11 Aug 2020 09:41:49
Top post Spaniard. Glad you’re back full time pal!

6.) 11 Aug 2020 12:37:53
What Spanish said

We’ve a coach and staff committed to identifying and developing our own players to play in our own style

Players develop differently and at different rates so it’s a numbers game and not all make it to the first team

Those that don’t will still be very good players and will generate income when sold

This is a “ go to “ club again

No more journeymen winding down careers.

7.) 11 Aug 2020 14:06:03
Agree Woody and being very professional about how we are bringing people in and signing new contracts for those we want to keep. We are still not getting all the new signings right but then not sure anyone does that all the time. Look at Chelsea and the worlds most expensive goalie and now tipped to buy a goalie!

8.) 11 Aug 2020 14:16:31
Bogusz signs 3 year deal

Looks like we are progressing nicely.

05 Oct 2019 22:50:45
What is Bielsa talking about when he mentions the 3 big parts of the game? Something about Harrison.

CanadaWhite

{Ed033's Note - Meat and potatoes?

1.) 06 Oct 2019 10:53:55
Canada Venture it's possession, creating chances and sticking them away. Personally, I think he's lost the plot, anxiety has crept in and he's a ripe candidate to enter Martyn's Bexley wing once the Big Fella returns from Lanzagrotty with new Spanish girlfriend in tow.

2.) 06 Oct 2019 11:50:35
Doesn't seem to fit with him talking about red card and penalty. I was assuming it was some refereeing error or something controversial.
I think he's been a breath of fresh air to Leeds but my lord he can't seem to see the wood for the trees can he!
For such a studier of the game I'm shocked he can't understand our repeated failures. Maybe he should watch all of our games from last year again and then it may sink in.

3.) 06 Oct 2019 16:04:51
He turned down a blatant penalty when Harrison had his ankles swept away for him, and waved it away. Just another shocking decision.
So, the 3 big parts were their penalty, Berra’s Red, and the refusal to award our penalty. That’s my take on it anyway.

4.) 06 Oct 2019 17:19:53
Sounds about right.
Really sick of being screwed by refs.
We are more than capable of messing it up on our own!

5.) 07 Oct 2019 06:25:16
No one wants us out of this league we generate too much revenue for the greedy corrupt fatherless children.

6.) 07 Oct 2019 17:09:19
I don't think Bielsa has lost the plot at all. He is a genius and getting 50% more out of the current squad than any other manager would be able to. Problem is most of our players are not up to it.

7.) 09 Oct 2019 16:01:14

Thoughts are it was similar in many ways to Liverpool game.
We started terrible then played well and then tired at the end.
I have to say it looks like when playing the top teams the players don't actually believe in themselves.
Once they realise they can compete they do so and do so well.
Believe it boys you are good enough for top 10 or even better.

CanadaWhite

1.) 03 Oct 2020 21:19:10
Canada you can’t say terrible cause Brightwhite and axa doesn’t like fan being fans.

2.) 03 Oct 2020 22:29:17
Whiteman, I love fans being fans, just wonder what the point is for all those who can't see positives and absolutely love posting negative comment after negative comment.

I guess I must be abnormal in the fact I love reading the posts of those with balanced opinions.

3.) 04 Oct 2020 02:59:48
🇨🇦 Reality is not one first-team player of ours could get into the Citeh side. Our best player, Klich, might make their bench. That would be it. It was inevitable Citeh would look strong in the beginning and end of the fixture because they boast superior players. What's remarkable is the fight we have in our side. Bielsa is the perfect manager for us and he seems to have found the necessary balance defensively to keep our goals concede tally not as high as everyone might expect. I hope he is with us for the rest of the decade.

4.) 04 Oct 2020 10:18:56
We did start terrible Whitey! Nervous first 20. I’ve said it three times! So what are you on about, man!? And stop calling out people to back up bull.

14 Sep 2020 22:53:34
Interesting comment by De Paul.
Maybe he is keen after all, now can we get a deal done?

CanadaWhite

1.) 15 Sep 2020 07:27:06
The vast majority of players and agents are going to do everything they can to generate interest from a range of clubs with a range of deals. Players might dream of playing for one club but end up playing for another and doing very well. I think De Paul is still a strong possibility for us.

2.) 15 Sep 2020 07:38:29
Word is he has agreed terms now with Leeds just the clubs to settle. on a fee now, so. who knows it could indeed be close.

3.) 15 Sep 2020 09:04:50
I think leeds will leave it for a week.
He has signalled his intent with the tweets.
He has already been left out of 2 pre season.
Think Udinese got to let him go now tbh.

4.) 15 Sep 2020 11:31:04
The RDP saga has been as long and tedious as DJ one ; I still very much doubt Leeds will sign him.

Be good of transfer window was closing next Monday with all deals having to be complete by then so that these protracted posturing transfer sagas would thankfully be ended one way or another . the window is far far, far too long.

5.) 15 Sep 2020 12:00:18
Suspect as with White all these other clubs apparent interest is the figment of agents guise . Yes or no to us is now needed.

6.) 15 Sep 2020 12:49:24
Yeah. 2 week window would be frenetic and so interesting.

7.) 15 Sep 2020 13:40:38
Sick of this De Paul rumour now, What are the true facts and what is just BS. Either Bielsa wants him or not?, Radzs wants him?, He either wants to come to Leeds or he doesnt? Terms have been agreed with the player? . Somewhere in there maybe some truth. Latest is Leeds (Radzs) not willing to pay the asking price. Either the player is worth it and we want him, then pay the money or MOVE ON!

8.) 15 Sep 2020 13:57:59
Absolutely Mezzer.

25 Aug 2020 22:18:30
Can honestly say I rarely watch Spanish Footy so haven't seen much of Rodrigo.
If we get him where will he play?
Is he purely an out and out striker or is he creative enough to play the #10 role?

CanadaWhite

1.) 26 Aug 2020 00:35:36
🇨🇦 he's a Spanish Bamford but better.

2.) 26 Aug 2020 01:21:05
Was reading a bit on him and it sounded like 2nd striker was his most effective position.
We need both so was just wondering where he'd fit in our line up.

3.) 26 Aug 2020 04:55:53
Exciting player, scored 19 goals two seasons ago, scored 6 for Spain last year. He can score and create. Had 5 seasons at Valencia, over 200 appearances. Scored against Chelsea in London in Valencia’s Champions League win there. If he settles and likes the club I think he will do well. Good to have Pablo in the side, with his Valencian connections to help him settle.

The money seems a lot but it won’t be if he comes good and contributes to us staying in the premiership.

4.) 26 Aug 2020 07:03:03
Spanish, thank you for the comment on Rodrigo. Sounds positive, and sounds like he could be a very useful addition if all the stars align.

I have read that a fee will be anywhere between £20m (as his club are in financial difficulties) to £30m (which still doesn't seem that much for a forward in this day and age)
For me the transfer fees are all relative. We spent £10m on Bamford when our TV revenue in the Championship was about £3m. This year are TV revenue may be £100m+. So hopefully the board will show the same optimism this season.

5.) 26 Aug 2020 07:49:36
If we could get Brewster in as well we would be looking good upfront.

6.) 26 Aug 2020 13:17:33
No to Brewster yes to Cabral, , talk is Victor might be on a detour to Portugal now.

25 Aug 2020 14:22:13
Get ready Berm, one step closer that tattoo.

CanadaWhite

1.) 25 Aug 2020 14:51:57
Indeed Canada and that is sure going to hurt Berm

. his pride and his backside that is 🥴.

2.) 25 Aug 2020 15:27:06
No he will bottle it, be known as Brentford white in future!

18 Jul 2020 15:26:28
Damn Brentford, don't they realise a good number of us can't drink 2 days running anymore. Way too old for that, but I guess I'll just have to suffer.

CanadaWhite

1.) 18 Jul 2020 17:53:10
Don't think the drinking will stop now until prem restarts.
CHAMPIONI!

Should have been, the whole diving thing spoils the game sometimes.
Villa are probably the worst right now.

Grealish is an amazing talent. If he had the work rate of a Leeds player and stopped diving he would be a world beater.
Cant understand why refs don't card blatant diving. It will never stop until they do it, even if its retrospective after the game.
