Phil Hay reporting that JKA may have another hamstring injury. I was hoping he might hit the ground running when we restart. Hopefully if true it isn't a bad one.

1.) 15 Jun 2020 08:43:08
as an update to the above, hamstring injury confirmed and JKA to miss the rest of the season.

2.) 15 Jun 2020 17:52:37
Oh no! Wonder if that means we will dump our interest in him?

17 Jul 2019 19:13:29
According to Orta speaking in Australia, our transfer business is 90% done, that along with Phil Hay saying he expects White to step in for Jansson, it is looking like the powers that be think the squad is about sorted.

1.) 17 Jul 2019 22:26:17
tells you everything you need to know about the football nous of those 3 clowns if they reckon this squad is good/ strong enough we are bang average with no proven cover when the DEFINITE injuries come . We will never go up whilst radz is there . Sad fact.

17 Jun 2019 18:54:30
So Elphick has signed for Tarrn. Could he have done a job for us?

1.) 18 Jun 2019 22:21:41
Not imo. Well over rated.

05 Mar 2019 23:43:44
So Harvey is being considered for the Head Honcho job at the FA and if successful can continue his vendetta against LUFC. How does this man continue to get, or be in the running for these posts? The mind boggles.

1.) 06 Mar 2019 01:18:46
Definitely bad news BUT it was only a S*y story, last I heard it was Verity that was top of the list.

2.) 08 Mar 2019 15:18:09
The mans ineptitude is astounding and knows no bounds.

Great at trying to derail Leeds over an intern watching from public land a team train, but totally useless at anything else like attempting to deal with racism. Does nothing.

What has he done over Blackpool's demise? Sweet FA, just watched it happen.

The man is a total waste of skin, but will no doubt walk away with a lovely pension.

Roofe spotted in Leeds with a brace on his leg, hopefully nothing serious, but doesn't look good. One thing I will say, with the unbelievable amount of injuries we have had this season we have done brilliant to still be right up there, and the Manager has never moaned once he has just got on with it.

1.) 16 Feb 2019 21:44:05
A lot of doubt about this sighting, might well be an old photo from a previous injury posted to cause mischief. Would appear a bit weird for news of a serious injury to be broken first by a player walking through the city with an obvious injury!

2.) 16 Feb 2019 21:49:09
Don't tell me you fell for it :) Mr Roofe was actually out Audi shopping today.

3.) 16 Feb 2019 23:20:12
Two days ago he posted a photo on IG with the hashtag #comebackstronger. I thought that sounded like a subtle injury hint and now this claim. I think he’s been off form for a while now and could do with a rest, but is still concerning if true.

4.) 17 Feb 2019 10:38:04
Yes I fell for it, we have had enough bad injuries for one season. Hopefully everybody will stay healthy for the run in.

5.) 17 Feb 2019 11:27:16
He also uploaded a photo to his Instagram account with his leg in a brace . So don’t be so sure it’s a hoax . Guess we will find out tomorrow if true .

Just been talking to my Dad this morning, as usual about LUFC. He told me he attended his first game at Elland Road in 1943! I am sure there are Supporters out there who saw Leeds earlier than he did. Anyone aware of anybody?

1.) 27 Feb 2021 13:17:02
THAT will take some beating Feath!

2.) 27 Feb 2021 13:51:03
Wow, that will take some beating!
I had always assumed there would have been no games during World War 2 so you learn something new every day. Great memory too, good for him.

3.) 27 Feb 2021 14:04:28
Thanks. He can't remember who it was against, but he said they played in a Northern Division as travel was restricted and had guest players who were stationed with a Yorkshire Regiment and were allowed to play on a Saturday. In 1947 he went to Elland Road for an FA Cup Semi Final between Charlton and Newcastle.

4.) 27 Feb 2021 15:08:01
Mr Whitbread may better it 🥲.

Very sad news to hear about Peter Lorimer being in the Hospice with his challenge. A true Leeds Legend. All the best to jim and his family at this difficult time.

{Ed077's Note - All the best to him}

1.) 26 Feb 2021 17:25:16
Sad, sad news.

2.) 26 Feb 2021 17:55:28
Very sad news another great player of the old Leeds Utd great team, All the very best to his family as this time. Very sad .

3.) 26 Feb 2021 18:10:06
Very sad news, a real Leeds legend.

4.) 26 Feb 2021 18:27:11
Keep fighting Hot Shot.

5.) 26 Feb 2021 18:42:59
Wishing for Lash a full recovery.

6.) 26 Feb 2021 20:55:30
Sad news indeedy about Peter, , another of the old guard legends . Never forget the day I left my wallet in the bar of the Commercial after buying a beer, was strolling back into city centre and realized what I had done, ran back and lo + behold wallet was still sitting on the bar 😂😂😂

Must have been the leeds crest on my wallet 😂.

7.) 26 Feb 2021 21:43:43
He has given me so many happy memories, just pray he fights like his team of old. Good luck Peter.

8.) 26 Feb 2021 23:45:40
Sadly, there is a clue in the word "hospice". He was always my favourite player of that era. I also had the hardest shot in my team. broke a goalkeepers hand once. Don't know what else to say. You will be missed Peter.

9.) 27 Feb 2021 12:29:37
He scored two of the best disallowed goals I have ever seen: Bayern Munich, EC Final and Chelsea at Villa Park FA Cup Semi Final, two shocking decisions.

19 Feb 2021 22:08:08
Not our night tonight, I thought we played decent. Unfortunate goal to concede and tight with the offside. But we had enough clear cut chances to at least draw, especially Cooper's headers. Costa should have scored at the death as well. A frustrating game.

14 Feb 2021 18:33:58
That could have been a lot worse when they made it 4 - 0. At least we didn't give in and scored a couple of good goals. We knew there would be some of these results this season. I thought we moved to many around just to replace Philips. Anyway on to Wolves with every possibility of a positive result.

1.) 14 Feb 2021 18:51:59
Very true LUFC feath considerable credit in 2nd half, very pleased for Struijk and Costa for their goals.

But still overall a deeply irritating match watching Leeds lack of depth squad and Bielsa unable to deal properly without KP.

14 Feb 2021 11:08:52
Disappointing to see Josh get beat last night, but his opponent was a worthy winner. Hopefully he will recover quickly both physically and mentally and get his Boxing career back on track. Maybe LUFC can cheer him up today and get something at Arsenal and end our London hoodoo. UTW.

1.) 14 Feb 2021 11:33:38
Not the usual Josh last night. I didn't think he looked confident on his way to the ring. Hopefully just a blip and he'll bounce back stronger. On and On.

2.) 14 Feb 2021 15:11:15
Didn’t realise josh hasn’t fought since 2019, worried for him. That defeat could see an end to his career, as that was surely a mear stepping stone, to regain his belts. Want him to succeed.

3.) 14 Feb 2021 17:23:30
Love Warrington But anyone who knows boxing knew his career was over after he left warren for Eddie hearne and you only give up belt if you don’t fancy the challengers

Two big fights in short time might of been step too far for josh and with Eddie in corner and after that defeat I can’t see josh coming back.

I didn't put a top three Baz, just mentioned the Liverpool game as it felt like we were back at last. When we get to 41 points the last three wins to achieve it will be right up there for me for the relief!

Although we lost 4 - 3, the Liverpool game showed we were back in the big time with a performance to show we could stay there.

Sheffield United, WBA have have, amongst others had some poor performances, but Burnley were awful when they failed to beat a 10 man West Brom. Such a strange season though, you can't really play any team and be certain of a win.

I didn't blame the pitch Chris, but I think the state of it doesn't help our style of play. Tonight's performance was well short. Our home record hasn't been great. I agree regarding recruiting a top quality midfielder, especially one who isn't injury prone!
