Corky Yes, he picked up a knee injury during international duty and it's not been a total recovery. He has to "manage" it plus he's 30. Don't think we should be paying much more than the Pontus fee.

I agree that he was a good centre back, but that was before he picked up the injury. Can we really afford to be relying on a crock for a full season?

The young Pole at Arsenal would be my preference, but I don't know if he is a Biesla type of centre back, but 6ft 3 always comes in handy.
At least he will have Bogusz and Klich for company on the international trips.
