good post spanish but just a thought, wasnt man utd last game a defeat against cardiff who we will play this year?

I think their last game was a 2-0 win over Perth! They obviously prefer the Auz sun! Might be wrong, but I don’t think Cardiff will beat us 4-0 if that’s what you are worried about. Our attacking play will be good enough to score against lots in the Championship. As you might have mentioned!, We are still vulnerable in the air and against the strong physical teams, that’s where the defensive improvements need to come. I think we do need one more ready, tall strong CB. But we need to be giving White and Struick experience pre season as I’m sure they are going to be needed this year and both look good. Struick could be that taller, physical CB you yearn for but needs some game time!

i agree spansish i like what i have seen of struick and think he will bring something to the team but needs a little more time. does he have an older meaner cousin who we can sign?

I don't think cardiff will beat us 4-0 but i can't see us getting any points off them at the moment due to the way they play.

Spanish strong physical teams= most championship teams, can see us conceding plenty of goals this season. It's not just Bielsa that does his pre-match homework on opposition teams, most managers will work out we will be vulnerable from set pieces and corners. As fans we can see our defence needs strengthening especially with a big centre half, but bielsa is stubborn and will stick with what he has.
