I worry now, when we are slipping points because come April/ May history tells us we will struggle for any points. Not only will we suffer from fatigue but along with fatigue comes the greater risks of injury. All this points to a need for investment in January. We now find ourselves in a position where we need cover at the back, a goalscorer upfront and a magician in midfield. Never thought I would be saying that after a buying summer with Bielsa.

A solution : Sack Bielsa before the January window?

It might seem extreme but can't see Bielsa staying next season anyway and our season needs saving.

Alternative, don't sack him ( which of course Radz would not do anyway) and just pray that Sheff Utd, West Brom and Fulham ( possibly Burnley) are below Leeds at end of season.

It was more a question mark suggestion RHC let's see how we do in the next 4 games and I will give you a definitive answer.


The thing is Bielsa appears incapable of solving our Achilles heel, it looks like he doesn't want to bring in more players in the window, and our squad is light in midfield and up front.


In any event I will be very surprised if he extends his one year contract which ends in 6 month, Leeds are already his longest serving club, he notoriously does not hang around for long at any club.

BV the bottom line is the club set the team and MB the task of surviving this year, nothing more, nothing less . As far as I can see we are still a full 8 points clear of the bottom three so on track . I was as disappointed as anyone by the performance last night and frustrated like everyone else by our frailty at set pieces and MB’s subs . However, it’s only two games ago that we played Everton off the park and before that did the same to Arsenal . MB is our best hope of survival this year . I don’t think I will change my mind regarding that even if we have mixed over the next few games .
