I don’t care what anyone says but having a points deduction hanging over your head, like Leicester City have, no matter the outcome will create a huge unsettling within the club.

The temperature is ramping up on these clubs who have breached the FFP rules, undoubtedly several of them believing a points deduction would never be dished out.
More fool them.
As for Leicester, my feeling is that it is conceivable that they could fail away in these last 8 games and consequently not make it through the playoffs.
I’d be very nervous if was a Leicester fan right now.

Oh I do hope so Brighty, wouldn't it be a great day to see Leeds back in the Premier League, and see Chelsea, Man City, Leicester, Forrest and Everton in the Championship. That would make me chuckle for days.

I think you’re right OP, there will be some very nervous Foxes out there at the moment.

Probably one of the Ed’s could answer this - Am I right in thinking that the reason Man City haven’t been deducted anything at the moment isn’t so much to do with the sheer volume of offences but more that they are denying/ disputing all of them? Therefore the case has to be built against them, whereas Everton admitted to most of the charges so the whole process was quicker?

If Leicester spent too much trying to stay in prem means they had unfair advantage in champ. Right.
Need to punish a club as soon as financials revealed no matter what league. Ridiculous that can’t be punished until in prem. Or admit to it. Close the door guys. Be fair.
Even if it means relegating a promoted club whatever.
Level playing field please.

I was watching a piece on fb I think it was Lineker asking a expert on why man City have not been charged. He said it was the complexity and the sheer number of charges. Also he said city have done their level best to hinder and slow down the investigation. Withholding evidence and the like. Hoping probably that the cost of investigation etc will be become so prohibitive that the prem will not go after them for every charge.

I read somewhere that I was wrong, and that there are rules that state the EFL could act against the foxes, and they have today placed them under a transfer embargo until the financial issue is resolved. I’m sure I read somewhere else that the other rules were signed off to late for a points deduction this season.?
