If wood doesn't perform let's give this Malik wilks a go or stokes. Hopefully if dropped in favour of the youngsters then that should give him a kick up the jacksey.

Liverlass,

Replacing him with Wilks Stokes or Mulhern is something I applaud but it won't have the desired effect on improving Wood. You can't give him class no matter what you do. He will forever stay an average championship forward and nothing more. Becchio in his prime and Mcbadgekisser had class that's the level we need.

Yes you have a point u can't polish a turd lol. He has one of the worst first touches I have ever seen but then scores fab goals once in a blue moon. I'd rather he scored average goals more often though. Unfortunately as we didn't sign a striker we may have to rely on one of our youngsters coming through.

Wood has been given chance after chance after chance and not produced.

We need someone to score goals, not someone to wait around fr a ball to come to them and still miss.
