Think defender goalkeeper and striker more important than attacking mid. But what do I know. Nowt obviously.

Aus, we disagreed when I said I wanted an AM, so one of us is happy now, but like you I think a Striker is top priority now. I didn't say GK before, but now I do as Perri has not lived up to his billing.

I don’t think our system needs an am mid jr unless ba oks are injured. I just think our weak links are Perri. Struik and dcl if in a drought or injured. To me. That’s just logical. Don’t understand am. Anyway.

We don't need a new keeper, just need DF to trust Darlow and start playing him and play Perri in the cup games (take the pressure off and give him time to hopefully change his form/ confidence) .


That said, if there's a slight chance of Trafford on loan, fight tooth and nail to get him and offer any if our keepers to City on loan in return.

When I think AM, I think of some of our past greats who played that position, Pablo Hernandez, Lee Bowyer, Gary McAllister, and further back Johnny Giles and Peter Lorimer. Maybe also some who'd normally be thought of as out and out wingers like Eddie Gray, Harry Kewell or Raphina.

Players of that calibre not only score goals or produce assists but just by their presence create opportunities for teammates to do likewise. Find us a player like that, and we'll fly up the league.
