Hayden Hackney was Championship player of the year last season. Despite an initial flurry of rumours, he's not gone anywhere. Everton have, allegedly, offered £12m, which had been rejected.
There's been a good transition of midfielders from the Championship to PL in recent seasons - Olise, Eze, Wharton, etc.
We're looking at Charles but the price is overvalued. Is Hackney a better alternative?
