Fab Rom stating than someone is inbound to ER from the continent for a medical, which has already been booked!? Ooooh!
1.) 17 Jun 2026 16:13:50
Flight to East Leeds from Liege which happens to be where Lois Openda is from.
2.) 17 Jun 2026 16:24:34
Yay.
.Medical booked ..second only to contract signed.
3.) 17 Jun 2026 17:14:43
Too many examples of one happening but not the other, so caution is wise.
Dan James was the prime example; that was a real mess!
4.) 17 Jun 2026 17:31:07
Indeed, so true, Canada.
5.) 17 Jun 2026 20:23:51
As he's currently with Juventus, a flight from Turin may be a possibility.
6.) 18 Jun 2026 11:28:00
His hometown is Liege, so post season he may well be there. Of course, he could be anywhere, as could any player!
09 Jun 2026 08:54:39
Seeing loads about Ousemane Diomande from Sporting for £50m!? Copyrighted Bright Likelihood rating 4/10 ?.
1.) 09 Jun 2026 10:20:20
I'm at 2/10. Can't see us spending that much dosh on one player. 35 maybe, but not 50.
2.) 09 Jun 2026 13:43:38
Haha, Brighty. ?
But, yours is the less posh 'possibility' version.
3.) 09 Jun 2026 17:16:04
Lol, Baz!
4.) 09 Jun 2026 18:53:13
Almost spent over 40 mill for the Palace striker they got from Wolves, so you never know.
5.) 09 Jun 2026 20:12:04
You really believe that Corkey.. felt like a PR stunt to me.
6.) 10 Jun 2026 09:42:27
What's to be gained from PR stunts of that nature tho? Nothing, imo.
31 May 2026 11:53:12
Nathan Ake the next name on the list that's growing by the day! 3/10, not likely!
1.) 31 May 2026 12:42:18
How about this one, Brighty.
99.5% of players listed/rumoured.. won't actually sign for Leeds United this summer.
Baz Book of Likelihood 10/10.
2.) 31 May 2026 16:52:03
Not gonna argue!
But given it's a rumours site, I share what I hear or read. Won't be stopping sharing just because they're unlikely!
3.) 31 May 2026 17:15:01
Fair, Bright.
4.) 01 Jun 2026 01:07:14
Contrarywise, a fair proportion of the players who do sign for Leeds will do so, never having previously been rumoured to be coming.
5.) 01 Jun 2026 06:55:51
Absolutely, JR!
30 May 2026 11:14:23.
Matty Targett being lined up on a free when he leaves the barcodes. I can see legs in this one! 7/10 in the Bright Book of Possibility!
1.) 30 May 2026 12:54:36
We won't be the only ones looking at him. He's had a good season at Middlesbrough, and stayed fit. He's left-footed, provides good cover, and is an upgrade on Byram. I think these sorts of deals are no-brainers.
Unless you're picking up a real talent at a cheap price, we still need the sort of players who won't start every week but can do a job when called on. That leaves more money for the three or four main targets - striker, AM, etc.
2.) 30 May 2026 13:53:51
Think this makes a lot more sense than Mings.
He's stayed healthy, would likely accept that he starts behind Gudmundsson, but at the same time be honestly trying to push him. Good enough to step in for Gabby when injured or suspended, or in cup games.
2 yr deal makes sense and as OG post says, won't break the bank.
It raises the floor in the position, even if I preferred we went out and tried for Hartmann or Diouf myself.
3.) 01 Jun 2026 01:12:19
Similar sort of player to Krejci and a damn site cheaper.
27 May 2026 07:38:01
First far fetched rumour of the summer? Paulo Dybala on a free, when he leaves Roma.
Creative, and for free, but chances of happening imo? 2/10.
1.) 27 May 2026 08:57:56
Agreed, can't see anything like this happening with undoubtedly huge wage demands. Also, I'd question if Farke can handle a big star ego in the squad.

Kevin Sinfield reportedly set to be Knighted in the forthcoming honours list! About time, and well deserved!
1.) 12 Jun 2026 08:38:43
Much prefer Rugby Union to Rugby League, but well done him.
As for football would love to see Howard Wilkinson upgraded from an OBE to Sir.
And, LUFC and others associated with LUFC, please hurry up with what would be a very well deserved commissioned statue of Leeds United legend Howard Wilkinson.
2.) 12 Jun 2026 11:19:15
Long overdue.
3.) 12 Jun 2026 11:36:59
Knighthoods seem to be handed out like no tomorrow these days.
Sinfield, to be fair, has done some serious charity work though.
4.) 12 Jun 2026 11:55:35
Not much of a rugby fan (either code) , but very well deserved. I was very annoyed when he came second in BBC SPOTY a few years ago to Andy Murray, who'd already won it once anyway.
Definition of Rugby - a game for men with odd-shaped balls.
5.) 12 Jun 2026 13:58:11
Rugby is a game for barbarians played by gentlemen. Football is a game for gentlemen played by barbarians. (Oscar Wilde) .
6.) 12 Jun 2026 14:00:55
100% class. Behaviours.
7.) 12 Jun 2026 14:03:24
Rugby Union, for me, is better than majority of football games nowadays.
So many of today's games are s****.
8.) 12 Jun 2026 17:26:47
Totally agree, Chris. Best sport in the world is Union!
9.) 13 Jun 2026 13:39:07
I am not a fan of the honors system, but Kevin Sinfield is deserving of the recognition.
10.) 13 Jun 2026 17:21:38
Too right feath. The current system is more corrupt than FIFA! That div Khan has destroyed one of the greatest Capitals in the world, and been knighted for it. Disgraceful.
11 Jun 2026 08:32:53
2 goals from BA! Galactico?
1.) 11 Jun 2026 09:31:39
Seriously!
Thanks, Brendan. It is my birthday today, but I never thought I would get something as rare as this. ?
2.) 11 Jun 2026 09:37:54
Where and when? Am I missing something, or just plain stupid, or both lol.
3.) 11 Jun 2026 10:03:34
Well done to BA.
4.) 11 Jun 2026 10:19:52
Like Aus said, where & when?
5.) 11 Jun 2026 13:06:20
Happy birthday Class.
6.) 11 Jun 2026 15:16:47
Have a great day, Class!
7.) 11 Jun 2026 15:42:02
Cheers, fellas. Year of birth matches my age today, 63 years young!
8.) 11 Jun 2026 15:43:42
All the best, Class!
9.) 11 Jun 2026 16:38:48
Cheers, Brighty.
10.) 11 Jun 2026 19:59:24
Had us going there, Brighty. Have a good one.
I wish I could match my birth year to my age. I'd quite like to be 49 again.
10 Jun 2026 13:39:03
Farke and the club have not ruled out reintegrating Rama for next season. There were concerns at the end of the promotion season re attitude (training and following instruction) , but if he can show improvement in pre season, he has the chance to stay.
1.) 10 Jun 2026 14:36:44
Sensible.
2.) 10 Jun 2026 14:39:02
Hope so. Big impact player. Keep him.
3.) 10 Jun 2026 16:49:39
Rumours from Valencia suggest Corberan also had probs with him, too. A good impact player, as Aus says, but we can well do without a player with an attitude problem disrupting a harmonious squad.
4.) 10 Jun 2026 16:58:46
JR16, I fully agree.
5.) 10 Jun 2026 17:30:53
Hold on, fellas.
Facts are:
Corboran played Largie 27 times, scoring 6 goals, and Largie contributed well to Valencia having a very good season.
And Farkey played Largie 29 times, scoring 6 goals, with Leeds finishing champions on a record-breaking 100 points.
So both managers trusted Largie with a large number of games.
And Leeds players seemed to get on well with Largie; harmony, certainly, not disharmony.
Hopefully, Largie can "track back" more in pre-season games this seez to satisfy the ever-cautious Farkey, as Largie is a talented attacking player one Leeds squad/team could quite well do with.
6.) 11 Jun 2026 09:20:34
Totally agree, Baz. I think there's an agenda out there that Largie has an attitude, etc.
He's a decent player & as a back up option to Okafor, we need him. He's proved he has an eye for goal, and an assist. He has pace too.
Replacing him would cost more than the reported £10 we want for him. It's a no brainer to keep him.
He also does appear to be popular with team mates.
I have seen lots of posts and official club stuff of him with other players, and he always looks popular and like he fits in.
I think there's a false narrative where Largie is concerned because he likes a bit of bling & is a little flashy.
7.) 11 Jun 2026 11:57:12
Rama would offer more from the bench than some of this season's incumbents.
8.) 11 Jun 2026 12:36:42
100% agree, Dave and LUFCfeath.
29 May 2026 06:31:03
Proper gentleman, who gets Leeds, and his responsibilities beyond the pitch at a club like ours.
? Ilia Gruev has been named our PFA Community Champion for the 2025/26 season, recognising his incredible commitment to community projects and initiatives.
1.) 29 May 2026 07:58:02
Good on him. Well done, buddy.
2.) 29 May 2026 08:33:18
Well done that man!
3.) 29 May 2026 11:59:36
For me, if he is willing to accept a backup role, keep him and sell Tanaka. Not that Tanaka is a bad egg at all, just Gruev is such a good egg, and obviously not a bad footballer.
Of course, there needs to be a baseline level of quality, but once that's achieved, arguably character is just as important.
You can see when players like Ramazani or Buononotte don't make it in.
If he says, look, I really need to be playing more than I'm getting, then we'd have to sell him. You can't begrudge him the desire to play more.
4.) 29 May 2026 13:31:21
He is better than Tanaka imo. I'd sell Tanaka everyday over him.
5.) 29 May 2026 21:41:11
Personally I prefer Tanaka, but both of them are fairly similar in that they keep things neat and tidy in midfield, break down attacks, and retrieve the ball, but don't offer much in attacking areas in terms of goals or assists.
However, I think Tanaka would have a much higher selling value, and, as he only cost a touch over £3m, would probably enhance our financial position more positively.
28 May 2026 13:48:11
Ramazani's behaviour and attitude off the field, added to him ignoring tactical direction in his last appearance, seems to have ended Valencia's interest in signing him.
Problem player?
1.) 28 May 2026 14:54:14
Sell him to Chelski - with that attitude he should fit in there just fine.
2.) 28 May 2026 14:54:18
Any specifics re said behaviour and attitude off-field?
I liked his on-field play in 24/25 season at Leeds. Quite a talented player.
3.) 28 May 2026 16:14:02
Don't think he was willing to follow team instructions and track back, so he got the verbals from senior players. He then upset them the next day with posts on social media, when he was out golfing. It was his day off, but it didn't go down well. I think he's been quite vocal on social media recently.
4.) 28 May 2026 17:47:28
Contract should be terminated, no more wages. There must be some grounds to do that.
5.) 28 May 2026 18:20:12
Why would Leeds terminate his contract and lose millions?
6.) 29 May 2026 03:51:20
Happy to have Large back as an off the bench option. Could sell Gnonto and James then. Get some coin. Keep Okafor and Large.
7.) 29 May 2026 08:31:34
I'd read it was something to do with his Instagram.
I follow Largie and there's nothing on his Instagram that's remotely offensive or anything controversial.
Personally, I think it's just made up so Valencia have an excuse to not sign him or try to get him cheaper.
He's been good for them this season, and when I've seen videos put out by the club, he always looks like he gets on with others and fits in.
8.) 29 May 2026 10:33:07
His home in Spain was burgled a week ago, so that's maybe stressing him out as well.
9.) 29 May 2026 11:32:49
Interesting info, Dune. That would definitely stress him out.
And, what Dave said.
For me, this story whiffs a tad of bs by Valencia.
10.) 29 May 2026 16:51:52
It was Marca reporting it, supposedly with input from senior players too.
11.) 29 May 2026 20:03:59
Corkey, it will cost us anyway. Who will buy him or the other numb Jack Harrison? We are still paying them.
12.) 29 May 2026 20:50:01
Fair point on Harrison, mate, but Rama will have clubs queuing up for him, I believe.
13.) 30 May 2026 08:30:56
Norwich want Rama.
14.) 30 May 2026 08:45:04
And Birmingham linked and they're not afraid of spending a bit of money.
28 Jun 2026 06:28:34
Only 1 Yr left. Better than a freebie next season. 25 would've been an absolute max under these circumstances. Money in the bank!
27 Jun 2026 05:44:46
Well, hes got to at least have the option of 442, or he'll be accused of not having a plan B!?
25 Jun 2026 21:26:52
My error, Corkey! Thought Palestra was an out and out LB, but Chelsea are taking him to play primarily at RB, which is his main role, though he can play all across the back.
25 Jun 2026 12:56:57
Farke desperately wants Brandt by some accounts! I can't see Wilson backing out now. He wanted to come over the winter.
25 Jun 2026 06:41:47
Just stop arguing about rumours? No one "knows" anything for sure, and your "hunches", Baz, are worth less than those joining this forum to share "the word", as they're personal to you, not something that is passing through the Leeds collective.
You argued against the Wilson rumour, based on your bowel rumblings, and now have an egg dipped face.
29 Jun 2026 12:48:55
25m is reportedly Everton's latest offer.
28 Jun 2026 19:28:59
If he ain't quick enough for MF, he defo ain't quick enough as a CB!
28 Jun 2026 13:08:05
Agree, Dave. The right move for him and his development, but I'd rather see him in the champo at this stage.
28 Jun 2026 06:33:26
I agree with Ealing; he'll be in the game till he can't physically do it anymore.
28 Jun 2026 06:32:15
With the James injury, it shows a big error not taking Trent. At least he can deliver a cross. Bogle is the best back up by far, or even JJ, given TT also likes to have positional flexibility with players.
