Nelson Deossa supposedly now being lined up instead of Shea Charles. It's a rumour, to be clear!
1.) 05 Aug 2026 20:23:03
A midfielder?. Again, really?
How about more pressing, urgent, must-fill positions, such as
a lb,
a striker or 2,
And 2 goalkeepers (or 1 gk if Jimmy Trafford is finally found) .
2.) 05 Aug 2026 20:34:30
Disappointed! I come here to see folk link us to Ryan Kent.
3.) 06 Aug 2026 01:59:05
Deossa scored a belter for Betis against Arse**** tonight, with a 25 yd left foot drive, and then laid on a 3rd goal for Fornals.
4.) 06 Aug 2026 05:44:56
Maybe one of his most productive games ever?..
As previous season 25/26.
20 games, 0 goals, 0 assists.
5.) 06 Aug 2026 07:47:53
Yet again, but expectedly, Baz, you've failed to grasp the concept of a rumour, and jumped straight back to your own agenda, whilst moaning that it doesn't fit with your personal requirements/ expectations! It's beyond dull, and highly repetitive.
6.) 06 Aug 2026 10:11:56
Well, hopefully it's not a particularly accurate rumour for a myriad of reasons.
03 Aug 2026 15:21:18
Joffy about to join Brum for 9mill. 4 Yr deal.
1.) 03 Aug 2026 15:44:41
Decent dosh. More than I expected if £9 million is correct.
2.) 03 Aug 2026 16:10:40
I'd snap their hands off. He should do a decent job there, and they're a club with money and big ambitions, so he's got time to make his mark. Wish him well.
3.) 03 Aug 2026 16:24:08
Be nice if they spent the same again on Prior, that would be good for both teams imo.
4.) 03 Aug 2026 17:14:58
Reports are that they are "interested" in Joffy, not that they're bidding for him as yet.
5.) 03 Aug 2026 17:35:09
That depends on what and where it was read, Dave. I read deal agreed, but of course, different sources / outlets will say different things. ??
6.) 03 Aug 2026 19:38:00
I told you, Baz, we'd get around 10 million for him. 15 goals and 4 assists last season, despite missing a good few games, is gold dust in the Championship.
Hull will probably come in for him now?
7.) 03 Aug 2026 20:55:37
Joffy and Piroe could do a good job at Burnley. Just the sort of players to help get you out of the Championship. I'd swap them for Fleming.
8.) 03 Aug 2026 21:05:20
Interesting post, Dunelm?
9.) 03 Aug 2026 23:01:41
If we really get £9m for him, that, + Struijk £18-20m depending on reports, + Schmidt 2.5m more or less, is net what we spent for Muharemovic.
Swapping two players no longer useful for us, and getting younger, and perhaps even better with Muharemovic vs. Struijk, is a seriously good deal.
All hinges on that Gelhardt deal coming to fruition for the stated funds ofc.
10.) 04 Aug 2026 01:19:23
The only fly in the ointment there is that the £18-20M we got for Struijk was counted against the Premier League PSR (Profitability and Sustainability Rules) for 2025/6, whereas the £34M for Muharemovic will be counted against the SCR (Squad Cost Ratio) allowance for 2026/7, so we can't set one off against the other.
11.) 04 Aug 2026 06:47:11
Quite right, Jr. We're not allowed creative accounting, although those rules haven't applied to all Premier League clubs in the past. ?
12.) 04 Aug 2026 08:49:37
9 million is a bargain for Joffy. But, we all know it's all about his ridiculously high wages that have put off most clubs.
13.) 04 Aug 2026 16:58:33
I've searched round the net, and the same answer keeps coming up - £15k per week. Is he on a special deal for the last year of his contract?
14.) 04 Aug 2026 20:03:41
15k/week is what he's on. Not particularly high I would say.
15.) 04 Aug 2026 20:35:24
Agreed, Corkey.
16.) 04 Aug 2026 23:22:14
We will get nowhere near 9m for him.
17.) 05 Aug 2026 08:35:59
What will we get then Woodzy? Share an informed perspective, instead of just writing the literary equivalent of a fresh, steaming dump!?
02 Aug 2026 07:59:08
Club Brugge forward Nicolo Tresoldi is the reported new focus as a striker option.
1.) 02 Aug 2026 08:29:06
Why don't we buy him. No dilly dally. Hand over the dosh. It's that simple.
2.) 02 Aug 2026 11:10:02
Decisive, swift action indeed, very welcome, Aus.
3.) 02 Aug 2026 18:38:12
It's not that simple when we're talking £25M.
31 Jul 2026 19:47:46
Sounds like Brandt has signed for Ajax!?
1.) 31 Jul 2026 20:00:25
He really isn't all that anyway. We need some pace in attack and he isn't that guy.
2.) 31 Jul 2026 20:00:57
Yep, correct.
3.) 31 Jul 2026 20:03:43
Announced on Ajax website.
4.) 31 Jul 2026 20:04:52
If you said that before he signed for Ajax, Dave, you would have had more gravitas.
5.) 31 Jul 2026 20:21:07
What a surprise. We do have a tendency to pursue targets over a long period, even when it's quite obvious we've been played. It might be unfair on Brandt, but the only reason I can see why he went to Ajax, who are in the Europa League and not the main event, is that he decided that the Premier League might prove to be a step too far, and too physical and athletic for him.
It will be a much quieter life in the Eredivisie. ?
We move on.
6.) 31 Jul 2026 21:24:40
Not surprised indeed, Dune. Well summed up.
For me, currently, the 2020/2021 summer window of Raphinha, Rodrigoal, Koch and Llorente is far, far better than this one.
7.) 31 Jul 2026 21:28:14
I have said it, Corkey, on many other YouTube vloggers live streams and possibly on here.
He's 30, no sell-on value, never played outside Germany. The fact he has strung us along for a month.
He isn't prem ready. He would get gobbled up in the prem, he's too slow.
He's basically just after a last big payday.
Harry Wilson will do a better job as a 10.
8.) 01 Aug 2026 00:39:38
What BV?
That was a shocker of a summer. Rapha is one of the best players ever to pull on the shirt, but the other three were soft as s**** and totally unsuited to PL football.
On Brandt, he obviously fancied an easy ride, and in hindsight maybe fortunate to have missed him. We do hang around a little too long at times over guys who don't really want to come here.
9.) 01 Aug 2026 01:01:36
At least there's still a month left of the window. We can now concentrate on alternative targets, like Pavel Sulc, who was suggested last week, only 20 yrs old, but would set us back, say, £15-20M rather than a free agent like Brandt.
10.) 01 Aug 2026 01:04:42
Glad re Brandt. Not good enough for Prem.
11.) 01 Aug 2026 02:58:05
Frog, re 20/21 summer signings.
Rodrigo scored 30 EPL goals for Leeds United.
Raph is the best Leeds player for the past 25 years.
Koch was decent overall.
17 Jul 2026 12:01:55
Everton sniffing around Rooney now as well. Barcelona have set us both a 10 day deadline; supposedly.

?️ Farke: "I want a group fully focused and committed. This club is bigger than any player or manager or board member. I'm not begging anyone 'Please play for us'. The club too big.
"If a player doesn't want to be with us they can train alone and use their own dressing room. I need players who are fully committed to defend the shirt. "
DF on the day he signed for us. He's stuck to it, and we are all the better for him doing so!
03 Aug 2026 20:26:49
Gabi reportedly out for up to 8mths with a ruptured ACL! Big blow!
1.) 03 Aug 2026 20:42:34
He went down in a break in play, and was holding his hamstring. He walked off himself. It didn't seem like an ACL type injury.
2.) 03 Aug 2026 20:49:46
It certainly is Bright, and means we need to bring in two FB/WB now, in addition to two keepers, a striker and maybe an AM. Our FB's have to put in a shift, so we do need good back up.
Need to raise some money from sales of the likes of Joffy, Piroe, Ramz (who I'd prefer to keep) , Willie G and maybe AO.
3.) 03 Aug 2026 21:52:34
I've seen conflicting reports about the injury, Canada, but some of the recent ones on X do say it's an ACL.
4.) 03 Aug 2026 23:38:17
I think we need to sign Denis Cirkin (who remains a free agent) right now. The Gabby injury can be assessed. If it's a 3-4 week one, Cirkin can hold the fort. If not, we get Cirkin and a loanee.
5.) 04 Aug 2026 06:41:07
Would certainly consider him, Ealing. He had some injury issues at Sunderland but the recent ones concerned his hand/arm which have supposedly been sorted out by a minor op in the close season.
6.) 04 Aug 2026 07:11:23
The post you are referring to was fake - there is no ACL injury. Loads of fake posts on X recently, so be alert for them.
7.) 04 Aug 2026 08:56:41
I didn't see it on X tho, Alf, so it must be true! ??
You're right tho, never can be sure, as Vid alluded to in a thread above. The truth always comes out in the end, so we can just keep sharing the stuff we read, then wait and see. ??
8.) 04 Aug 2026 09:51:49
It's a muscle injury, hamstring.
He tweaked it at the end of last season and was sidelined as a precaution for the World Cup.
They don't know how bad it is yet but you can probably expect a couple of months that he'll be out for.
9.) 04 Aug 2026 12:24:56
3-8 weeks apparently. More scans to come.
We need a lb..
10.) 04 Aug 2026 12:50:30
In Leeds Today, GG himself says it is a muscle issue, and that it is not the same leg that made him miss the final few games of last season. Initial observation made the ACL story seem unlikely, as he walked off rubbing the back of his thigh, whereas the ACL is much lower down at the back of the knee.
02 Aug 2026 05:59:27
Marathe stepping away from the USA arm of 49ers to focus on us, and the ground redevelopment, and his smaller part at Rangers.
1.) 02 Aug 2026 07:12:58
Has to be good news. After all that time in yank football. To give it up to focus on Leeds.
2.) 02 Aug 2026 07:59:36
Totally agree, Aus!
3.) 02 Aug 2026 17:49:20
He certainly isn't my favourite guy on the board at the club. I would much prefer Lowy, who is a Leeds fan. 49ers fans don't seem one bit bothered that he's left either. Reading some of their forum comments, they say he's not great at negotiating and has put players on terrible contracts.
Obviously, like us fans, we are in the dark on what really goes on, so they could be wrong, I guess, but they certainly are glad he's gone.
4.) 02 Aug 2026 18:28:05
Ditto, LAD, re Marathe. I too would much prefer Lowy to be our chairman.
And, yep, I also read today some 49ers pundits and fans peeps. Fairly unsurprising opinions of Marathe, none too complimentary. They were re negotiating player contracts in particular.
He was at 49ers though for 20 years.. a very long time!
5.) 02 Aug 2026 23:46:38
It's strange how things get interpreted in different ways. I have just watched tonight's match on LFC, and they were waxing lyrical about what a great thing it was that Leeds were part owned by the 49ers, and how one of the most respected businessmen in the NFL, a guy who has 20+ years embedded in player recruitment and contracts, was now responsible for this at Leeds.
Who would know, hey?
6.) 03 Aug 2026 09:02:25
If only we could hire and fire chairmen in the same way some would like with managers, eh?
27 Jul 2026 13:29:18
Copied and pasted: ??❤️
Leeds United have given their Youngster 'Pickles' the number 66 shirt and the reason for it is absolutely incredible.
For those of you who don't know, back in 1966 before the World Cup, the Jules Rimet trophy was stolen in London and couldn't be found. However a dog named 'Pickles' found the trophy on his daily walk a few days later. Therefore making Pickles and the number 66 a iconic duo. ? ???????.
26 Jul 2026 05:51:48
Harrison officially gone! Some hefty wage savings right there, which is great news moving forward. Undisclosed fee.
13 Aug 2026 13:15:50
Nice payout for the Latics!
11 Aug 2026 07:21:01
A rumour I don't believe says that we have already booked his medical!
10 Aug 2026 08:46:42
Totally agree, NAC! Great impact sub, and a better player than Cree imo!
06 Aug 2026 07:47:53
Yet again, but expectedly, Baz, you've failed to grasp the concept of a rumour, and jumped straight back to your own agenda, whilst moaning that it doesn't fit with your personal requirements/ expectations! It's beyond dull, and highly repetitive.
06 Aug 2026 07:49:48
A total misunderstanding. Nowt to see here!
It was a good play on words tho, tbf!
13 Aug 2026 11:59:19
And you do, mostly past or sold. Repeatedly.
Anyway, following Alf's ignore advice now.
13 Aug 2026 11:53:05
Great perspectives! Ta for sharing 6p! Glad you enjoyed it!
13 Aug 2026 08:34:43
Someone has to make you laugh, tho! Otherwise, it's all just being "underwhelmed and disappointed" with you, isn't it?
13 Aug 2026 08:25:31
Giving him just a couple of friendlies before judging him, and being disappointed does not surprise me at all!
Farke will get him to relax and enjoy playing, and he'll prove a great signing.
12 Aug 2026 06:59:47
Sky got us at 14th. I don't give a stuff what any of 'em say. Priority 1 = stay up again. Priority 2 = finish higher than last year, if possible.
