Crew has gone to Doncaster.
Absolutely mad decision while we're struggling for a striker and AM.

I'm guessing there's a striker being signed on the sly?

MoTagain

1.) 15 Jan 2025 13:00:35
The thing is MOT its not as if any
other Champo club wanted to loan Charlie Crew . fact is he is only going to League 2 level ( his current level? )

No the true "mad decision " by Farkey lies in his continued selection of our cooked gk.

2.) 15 Jan 2025 13:45:10
Watch this space. Crew will walk that league.

3.) 15 Jan 2025 14:09:09
He probably will do MOT. albeit League 2.

4.) 16 Jan 2025 17:47:14
Crew not ready for the Champ yet. A loan is a good move for him.

14 Jan 2025 16:34:47
According to BBC:

Joffy to Hull and Bamford is being eyed-up by a few champo clubs, with Blackburn being the top name floated around.

Leeds turn down interest in Gnonto from a Saudi Arabian team.

MoTagain

1.) 13 Jan 2025 14:24:30
Which alleged team?
How much did they allegedly
offer in transfer fee?

{Ed001's Note - doesn't really matter which team as most of the league employs one man to deal with its development and transfers. You have to remember that a large chunk of the league is owned by one ownership group - PIF, the same group that owns Newcastle - so they aren't really a separate entity like other leagues.}

2.) 13 Jan 2025 14:46:58
Cheers Ed001 on info .

{Ed001's Note - very welcome, Michael Emanalo is the sporting director of the Saudi Pro League and basically he is the one picking the foreign players they buy throughout the league. It is a very strange set up.}

3.) 13 Jan 2025 16:50:24
I wonder how Gnonto feels? His heart isn't in it this season, we should have sold him. Put Schmidt on the wing if we needed another winger.

4.) 13 Jan 2025 16:43:43
Ed001 Can you send him an email blast about Patrick Bamford and his burning ambition to play in their country?

{Ed001's Note - I can certainly try.}

5.) 13 Jan 2025 21:21:58
Did we actually get any verified offers for Gnonto MOT? I can't recall.

6.) 14 Jan 2025 06:13:41
According to the BBC, Alf.

7.) 15 Jan 2025 12:27:12
Apparently Liverpool turned down £70m for Darwin Nunez from Saudi, that must mean we were offered £90m+ for Little Willy.

04 Nov 2024 15:10:24
Apparently Firpo and Rodon had a "heated exchange" at half time at the Plymouth match. Sounds both were annoyed at one another.
Any idea why?

MoTagain

1.) 06 Nov 2024 18:19:31
Players have disagreements. sure its been sorted.

2.) 09 Nov 2024 13:36:13
Won't be an issue today Baz. Next possible issue date the end of the month.

24 Sep 2024 07:47:50
Leeds rumoured to be interested in extending DJ's contract.

MoTagain

1.) 24 Sep 2024 09:34:41
They should.

2.) 27 Sep 2024 06:52:07
That would depend what league we are in and when it runs out. If it helps get a better price then def but if we get promoted. We should sell. But we won’t sell cause no other mug will pay what we did for him. So we either got write it off or keep him when we are in the prem for some reason.

3.) 01 Oct 2024 22:24:48
deservedly so.

Is Crew injured? I was surprised not to see him play yesterday, it felt like the perfect time.

Gnonto's form has dropped considerably and we may be best offloading him if a bid comes in as we're stacked in the wings.

Schmidt played well yesterday, hopefully we see more of him.

MoTagain

1.) 12 Jan 2025 12:02:48
Farkey doesn't appear to rate Leeds young players Chambers, Crew and Debayo

I still lament the sale of forward Max Dean. he wpikd/ shoulx havd neen. a huge asset in this Champo season

Deano scoring a shed load of goals in the higher quality French top league until his recent injury.

2.) 12 Jan 2025 12:09:55
All the youngsters currently injured mot. That’s why they weren’t on the bench either. All got a farkestring. All out for at least a season.

3.) 12 Jan 2025 16:01:36
Baz Perhaps Farke does rate them but he's ageist or more accurately against the youth?

Evidence might be a couple of times this season during post match pressers when his side has disappointed he's called them "young" and "inexperienced" or needing more experience. Yet the average age of his team this season is over 25 which is around mid-table in terms of the rest of the Championship.

25 means you have a fair bit of experience imo.

Furthermore, many are full internationals.

4.) 12 Jan 2025 16:39:29
Good post Georgey . yep
Farkey definitely needs to quit the young inexperienced team baloney.

5.) 12 Jan 2025 20:01:06
Good point George. I had never noticed before but he does do that.

6.) 13 Jan 2025 02:31:03
P S.

Charlie Cresswell upate watch

For those who said Charlie woukd not ne good enough for French League 1 . well Charlie is still a 1st team starter having played 16 out of 18 of Toulouse's competitive matches.

Very well done Charlie . very good defender/ player in the making.

7.) 13 Jan 2025 19:40:20
Leeds are actually rated third youngest team in the championship after Sunderland and Plymouth so yes they are relatively inexperienced!

09 Jan 2025 15:32:40
The team who are top on new year's Day, finish the season top of the table.
This is true for the last sixteen seasons, with the exception of one team. Leeds United.

Saturday (even though it's a cup game, will set the pace for the rest of the season.

MoTagain

06 Jan 2025 15:31:41
Apologies if this seems a little doomy but.

I'm concerned that if sheff utd and/ or Burnley sign a good striker and defender, we could slip into the play offs again.
I hope we bolster the team.

MoTagain

1.) 06 Jan 2025 16:16:57
MOT

Blades seem to be getting BBD back on loan. BBD and Moore at Championship level as good as it gets imo. Should send them to ? points and autos.

Black Cats could be getting Enzo le Fee. That makes them a serious threat to also acquiring ? points. Le Fee silky midfielder for Roma in case you was unawares.

We're not even in the second week of the window. Imagine if these teams do more good business? And then there's Burnley.

You mustn't be concerned though. Concern shows a lack of faith in Farke and LUFC employees and that can be interpreted as veiled criticism. ✋.

2.) 06 Jan 2025 16:32:21
Good posts.

3.) 06 Jan 2025 16:40:30
Thanks for the additional info George.

I'm hoping with big spenders 49ers and RB at the helm, and then not wanting to lose money, that we will see some movement soon enough?

Maybe they're waiting for the dust to settle at other clubs and then go and buy? Maybe. hopefully.

Don't get me wrong, Leeds are top of the table and should be about ten points clear. We've got no issues in ending the season at the top, all things being the same. Things aren't the same though, so. fingers crossed.

4.) 06 Jan 2025 19:12:58
In yer dreams George pfff
Why not try and construct a worthy criticism rather than insults, which you seem very accustomed to.

5.) 06 Jan 2025 19:19:04
Well your mate Baz told me that Sunderland or Black Cats as you affectionately call them, had no chance in this low quality league this season.
Perhaps you both need to realign yourselves on that before giving comment.

6.) 06 Jan 2025 19:39:20
Do I detect a veiled attempt at sarcasm there George?

7.) 07 Jan 2025 00:45:22
OP Why do you assert erroneously "affectionately"?

Is it because it's well-known that use of a nickname during conversation or similar automatically means your love for the subject matter being discussed?

Makes me recall this conversation with Ed25:

George: How are the Toffees doing?
25: Didn't realize you love Everton, George?
George: Why would you think that, 25?
25: Because you referred to them by their nickname.
George: Oh yes, poor me for forgetting that oft taught principle of only uttering an entity's nickname if you love them.
25: Not to worry George. What are you doing tonight?
George: I'm about to drop off Mrs Integrity so she can watch Gordon Sumner in concert!

Yep, it's another world-beater ?.

8.) 07 Jan 2025 07:28:51
Must I do lurve me a bit of Sting.

9.) 07 Jan 2025 08:39:12
Baz Let's hope for some excellent January recruitment so we again reach the Fields ?️ of Gold ?.

05 Jan 2025 14:45:06
Farke is in a tight spot with meslier. If he replaces him and we lose points because of crap GKing, Farke looks weak for bowing to pressure.

If he keeps Meslier and he continues to make mistakes, then Farke is seen as ineffective as a manager.

Farke is a bang average manager, coaching the best team in the league. Our position shouldn't be surprising to anyone.
His failing are obvious when we drop needless points, his achievements are praised when we win games that we should win.

MoTagain

1.) 05 Jan 2025 14:55:38
Interesting post MOTagain.

2.) 05 Jan 2025 15:27:30
Farke post match comments utter nonsense.

3.) 05 Jan 2025 16:19:43
Disingenuous Farke comments.

4.) 05 Jan 2025 16:26:38
George, I have been saying this for two years now. BUT, nobody wants to question DF and his so-called logic. The Leeds media is a mirror image of Farke, No B$$S AND SOFT!

5.) 05 Jan 2025 17:37:24
Hasn’t done badly in this division for a “bang average” coach, has he? ??.

6.) 05 Jan 2025 18:46:05
You didn't say that last season!

7.) 05 Jan 2025 19:29:28
Farke just an actor.

Doesn't mind remarking "sins of the past" or digging out Manor when he slipped against Burnley but won't criticize Gash Statue Scissors.

8.) 06 Jan 2025 05:31:47
We are top of the league because of Farke. I find it unfathomable that some fans wouldn’t know that.
As I’ve said before don’t underestimate the quality and competitiveness of this league, it’s why teams are bunch up scrapping for those auto spots.
You are completely naive if you think we should be blowing this league apart.

There are some absolutely pathetic nonsensical posts put on here at times it does beggar belief!

04 Jan 2025 19:11:58
Mesliers performance wasn't one of an incompetent goal keeper, that's an easy get out.
No, his performance was that of a man who no longer gives a rats arse about his job.

We should reciprocate.

MoTagain

1.) 04 Jan 2025 19:17:42
Both things MOTalaw.

2.) 04 Jan 2025 19:25:25
MoTagain, this keeper has been poor for years now, I would focus on the person who plays him every week!

3.) 04 Jan 2025 19:55:54
Absolutely Hooksie.

4.) 04 Jan 2025 20:23:46
He has been poor for years but he has still shown some manner of quality now and then.

Tonight, he may as well not have shown up. If this was his first bad match, you could forgive the first and maybe third goal; defenders should have been on it.

But the second goal? Where he scoops it back from the crossbar and puts it at the feet of the attacker? That's maliciousness, not incompetence.

5.) 04 Jan 2025 20:33:21
Having watched the Meslier gaff on the highlights and it looked like it was going over the bar before he touched it.

6.) 04 Jan 2025 21:37:00
I thought exactly the same LUFC, exactly the same! If you watch it closely it looks like it’s going over by a foot as he touches the ball above the top of the bar! Bloody idiot ??.

7.) 05 Jan 2025 00:49:22
Woodster, the Biggest Idiot is the Manager who says he is the Best Keeper in the Championship. Two Clowns IMO.

Bogle and Schmidt and Solomon and James would be a great foursome to cover the corners of the pitch, with amps and Tanaka commanding the middle.

Chuck ramazani as 9 and Gnonto as 10. Easy mode.

They've sent a striker and AM out on loan, with Bamford known to be injured, they must be confident in others picking up goals (the wingers) .

It feels like the board is trying to save a few quid while gambling on promotion, Vs just buying promotion.

If you think about it, Farke is jobless come the end of the season whether we are promoted or not.
If he has a Scape goat of "board didn't buy players" then he walks off scot free, regardless of how this season ends.
