That's here and not hear in last post.

Ausman10

1.) 08 Sep 2024 15:20:18
Here here.

05 Sep 2024 02:20:27
Rumour has it as stated below. Farke wanted Hamer or Lubi. AO was the cheaper version way down the list.
Nothing against AO at all.
But little trouble hear. Farke saying that he told them 6 months ago what he needed and now showing slight unhappiness with the business done.

Ausman10

1.) 05 Sep 2024 05:43:17
Prefer Ao to Ljubicic anyway. Hamer would've been ideal, but still happy with Ao and think he'll be a regular starter by this time next month.

2.) 05 Sep 2024 13:21:06
Rumour has it DF laying out the reasoning for if/ when he forks up.

To be fair he has a point he needs quality proven goals and assists players . for Marathe and Co for example to put in a £13 million bid for goal and assist machine Hamer.

And then not even try with a higher bid stinks

Hamer in Leeds team would have ensured Leeds much much closer to a guaranteed top 2 Champo club.

3.) 05 Sep 2024 22:39:55
Wouldn’t call Hamer a goal machine mate.
Good player though.
I’m probably wrong but not sure he’d suit our system?

4.) 06 Sep 2024 00:18:47
Yep fair enough Corky re goal machine.

5.) 06 Sep 2024 08:13:42
Oooh, hyperbole alert!? ???.

6.) 06 Sep 2024 13:17:42
Yep I did a " Brighty" ?????.

7.) 06 Sep 2024 14:34:10
Baz. ???.

8.) 06 Sep 2024 17:13:54
??????.

03 Sep 2024 03:14:31
Rumours Farke not happy With not getting a 10 and Hamer in particular. He Wasn't sure if we couldn't afford him or just reluctant to pay. As I said before 13 was either a naive or intentionally insulting offer. Let's not forget raph was annoyed with what he was sold to us for. So likely Hamer was less than impressed with our offer.

Ausman10

1.) 03 Sep 2024 08:20:46
I smell sloppy journos…….

30 Aug 2024 07:29:30
Leeds fear they will miss out on Sallai as other clubs interested. Don't seem to want Hamer. Quoting benson as alternative.
It's deadline day chaps.
Here we go round the mulberry bush.
See who we get today. If it's more than 2 I will be impressed. Should be 4.

Ausman10

1.) 30 Aug 2024 08:37:32
Morning Aus, mornin all! Crazy day is here again! Let’s see where we are at the end of it, eh?

2.) 30 Aug 2024 10:59:14
It's gonner be the most exciting LUFC window ever we are told.

3.) 30 Aug 2024 12:46:29
Maybe that £25m bid for BATU wasn’t click bait?

29 Aug 2024 12:50:52
Stop all these rumours below. I'm getting excited and don't like it.
Ao Sallai and Hamer. Bring it on.

Ausman10

1.) 29 Aug 2024 13:15:21
it won't be both Sallai and Hamer - one or the other imo.

2.) 29 Aug 2024 14:31:52
Agree, and agree again.

3.) 29 Aug 2024 16:16:01
Don't think it will be Hamer although he's probably the best choice. Cost more than Utd want to pay. Price may go up if Portuguese sniffing around rumour true.
Sallai offers more options across the front and we're relatively well stocked with midfielders and others who can play there at a push.

4.) 29 Aug 2024 16:50:55
“Than Utd…. ”. You mean “us” or “we”? No dig, just confused.

5.) 29 Aug 2024 17:09:14
No offence taken.
I'd be surprised if Leeds stretched to £15/ 18 million. If they do then it's a good result. But not holding my breath.

6.) 29 Aug 2024 17:22:11
Maybe I should say the bean counters don't want to pay out that sort of money but many clubs are restricted by FFP. Maybe why Burnley have lost so many and not finished yet.

7.) 29 Aug 2024 18:21:06
That's exactly why Burnley have lost so many Dunelm - along with players not wanting to.

8.) 29 Aug 2024 19:37:44
Add Weghorst to that list of Burnley departures. Ajax bound.

9.) 30 Aug 2024 11:59:16
And Tresor and McNally (bit part player) . May lose Trafford today and would have sold Lyle Foster but it fell through.
Allegedly Benson available but nobody's done anything concrete yet.
Maybe we will if Sallai falls through?

10.) 30 Aug 2024 14:14:19
And Vitinho gone back to. Brazil.
It's like Elland Road 12 months ago.

Think Germany, Netherlands, Greece, England and probably Georgia will all win.
See how I go with that lot.

Ausman10

07 Sep 2024 08:45:39
Think Canada will beat USA but think Aron has earnt himself a start too.

Ausman10

1.) 07 Sep 2024 12:32:53
Brenty will no doubt be loving the media attention he likely receives for this match

as Canada " coach" against his native USA for whom some speculate he may at some point in future be USA coach

Canada are a better team than USA. so predict a win even with Brenty.

2.) 09 Sep 2024 02:03:15
Yep. Brentys Canada defeated USA 2 -1

Brendan Aaranson was not effective.

06 Sep 2024 02:52:31
I'm not a betting man but if I was. A tipple on Uruguay winning World Cup maybe best to do sooner rather than later.

Ausman10

1.) 06 Sep 2024 08:14:50
You’d get good odds I guess, so definitely worth an outside dabble that one!

2.) 06 Sep 2024 10:37:16
Uruguay curremtly 28/ 1 . good odds.

3.) 06 Sep 2024 11:29:11
Off you go lads. Just want 10% spotters fee. I’d put them in top 5 to win.

4.) 06 Sep 2024 13:28:44
By thd time World Cup commences it will be a whopping 76 years since Uruguay last won World Cup.

So it will be an amazing feat of a Marcelo Bielsa inspired Uruguay smash that 8 decade hoo doo and win it.

Bielsa would become a legend in Uruguay for sure .

5.) 06 Sep 2024 14:25:05
Worth a punt though baz.
Just wondering. Have the world champs lost recently.
Bugger. I’m going to put 100 of my sons dosh on it. Can’t lose. Home banker and all.

6.) 06 Sep 2024 21:00:42
I put a bet on Belisa Argentina team which were favourites, worst bet I ever made.

7.) 06 Sep 2024 21:01:14
Scrap that I also put a tenner on Michael rickeys being top scroer in the championship for leeds.

8.) 07 Sep 2024 22:19:21
A more sensible bet would be whether Bielsa would even be the manager by the time of the next World Cup.

04 Sep 2024 03:12:06
By my basic calculation. Ex gray. Inc money in and wages saved, we had about 50 mill to send and a year to balance the books.
What did we spend? 23-24?

Ausman10

1.) 04 Sep 2024 04:29:36
Defo feels like SF49ers could have spent quite a lot more without compromising financial constraints issues aimo

They will blooming hugely regret not doing so come end of season if Leeds flunk promotion again

Speaking of which . Leicester win their appeal. so no points deductions . what the heck!

2.) 04 Sep 2024 06:08:41
Legal loophole be damned. Well that was anticlimactic. Was expecting -6 points for em.

£30.6m according to transfermarkt, Aus.

3.) 04 Sep 2024 06:31:11
30.6 spent dill? How? Including wages for the year?
Wasn’t it reported we got over 100 in?
I’m confused. Not diff mind.

4.) 04 Sep 2024 07:31:16
Those are just transfer fees, mate. Couldn't say with wages inc.

5.) 04 Sep 2024 07:35:20
Forgot about Roths.

6.) 04 Sep 2024 08:16:00
Aus ffp is very complicated without the books we’d never know.

So take a step back and try to see less and you will see much more.

Farke and the insets are both ambitious and both want promotion both said we was close to the wire and spent the most we could.

Trust the process. I don’t care if we spent 100 million or a quid I’m happy with the players we brought in since the 49ners have been in we have been very smart in the market.

7.) 04 Sep 2024 08:21:15
I think it’s time that fans stop trying to be accountants with only a thread of info.
The full picture is a damn sight more complexed than assumed, and until everything is publicly in the hands of companies house, we have no insight.
All will come to light in time, but I do prefer to think that the board have spent “what needs to be spent” rather than go all out and blow everything, fail, and end up down cack creek without a boat or paddle!
Yes Dill. I was disappointed re foxes too.

8.) 04 Sep 2024 09:12:44
Good post there Brighty, everyone guessing the accounts of our club is not really worth while as quite simply, nobody knows.
I’ve heard it said in the US that that the 49er’s are a class act and very astute business people.
What I believe is that they are working within the rules and planning very wisely about our future. The gung ho approach of spend spend spend on whatever may win short term success but more often than not usually ends in their demise as Everton are finding out as well as Forest. Two teams for me that are spiraling around the sink hole for their reckless spending and mismanagement.
We all are so very aware of what that brought to our own club in the years gone by.

9.) 04 Sep 2024 10:07:48
Fair do lads. I’m pleased ish with the players we got in. Let’s hope they continue to shine ?.

10.) 04 Sep 2024 11:51:17
Indeed Aus! Let’s all hope!

11.) 04 Sep 2024 13:02:03
Perfectly says brightly.

12.) 04 Sep 2024 17:19:42
Good shout, Brighty. We know next to f*ck all really, just a lot of guessing, haha.

03 Sep 2024 11:07:14
I mean for the sake of 15 on Hamer and out of contract back up striker. Stinks tight and un knowledge.
Those two additions and we up. Sorted.
Silly silly silly.

Ausman10

1.) 03 Sep 2024 11:20:19
Agreed.

Leeds United would then be a shoe in for promotion. thet need to be a shoe in . but they are not.

2.) 03 Sep 2024 13:00:35
Those two signings and we get deducted points, sensible

The 49ners have money but leeds are in huge ffp hole due to the mismanagement and huge failings, mainly under Belisa. 500 million to finish where you stated via relegation is not sustainable under ffp rules.

There has been a number of articles and reports in this.

3.) 03 Sep 2024 13:31:47
Berma

Finances specifically under Radz and Orta

But what's with your fantasy £500 million figures. please provide a link . Good luck

Sorry I can never trust your posts as factual.

4.) 03 Sep 2024 13:38:11
Bermo, firstly, that's conjecture without knowing the facts. And secondly, Bielsa absolutely did not spend £500m ? that is categorically and demonstrablty false information.

Under Bielsa Leeds spent £167,213.00 on transfers in. (Transfermarkt) .

Our net spend over that time period was even less than that as well.

5.) 03 Sep 2024 13:46:02
Dill . surely not yet MORE false information from the King of Fiction Berma . lmao.

6.) 03 Sep 2024 13:46:10
Bermo mate it was actually your mate Orta who wasted millions on poor signings.

7.) 03 Sep 2024 14:09:44
Indeed Corkster El Bandit Signor Orta

Try just for once to keep things real Berma ?.

8.) 03 Sep 2024 14:32:58
Fed up arguing with short sighted rise to tinted glasses leeds fans on this

1. Belisa did not spend full 500 million
2. He spent 45 million the year we went up, fact and to fact check watch gets the view podcast and double check with company’s house and leeds united books
3. While in the prem Belisa spent around 350 million again ger the view podcast is fact check and companies house books leeds have to file
4. Then add what ever Bielsa spent on first season in charge but he spent around 17 million on
Bamford Aline, fact check middlesbourgh owner pretty solid source
5. Belisa picked first team players he had final say, fact check Belisa said so himself, interview where he says he would of walked had we not brought costa to replace pablo and interview where he said I wanted lorrente as the outstanding candidates for slot in the squad

Anyone who thinks the control freak that Ed Bielsa would of been happy not having final say is a deluded idiot.

Orta picked ones for the future who I’m the main
Where pure class.

So beilsa soent let’s say 450 million to take us up then take us right back down and make us a joke… as a result ffp was tight source Leeds rumours now articles printed at the moment.

I’m not fancy chrcking for idiots look it up or carrying on being deluded I’m ok either way.

9.) 03 Sep 2024 14:52:13
Bermo. Less talk more facts
Leeds stated gray got us out of bother.
Forget what happened before. We had all the rest dosh to spend plus more and

We didn’t.

10.) 03 Sep 2024 15:20:26
Baz I believe we'll go back in for Hamer in January.

11.) 03 Sep 2024 15:38:32
Bamford cost £7 million. Think Gibson pulling your leg?!

12.) 03 Sep 2024 16:02:55
Care to enlighten us what this £500m entailed, mate? What was the money spent on?

13.) 03 Sep 2024 16:19:40
No dill I don’t care to enlighten you as I’d have to go through companies house. I’d rather you soend five minutes watching the podcast I referred you to as the expert who is an independent explains it and says it… why would you chose not to believe him?

Stop trying to row with me to make your argument valid and educate yourself by listening to the experts

Aus leeds stated gray stopped us getting points deducted not that we then had 30 million to spend… that’s not how ffp works you balance the books gray balanced the books he didn’t give us a war chest

As the expert said 49ners have money to spend but under ffp they can’t until we get promoted as prem league allows looser purse strings

The 49ners are not to blame and can’t be blamed in any way.

14.) 03 Sep 2024 16:49:27
What do I need to search on YouTube to find this info, mate? because I wouldn't mind listening to see exactly what this money was apparently spent on.

15.) 03 Sep 2024 17:39:32
It’s called the view it’s run by a bloke called ger and he does daily Leeds rumours etc. I honestly reccomened him anyway as him and Locke in my opinion give the most balanced and insightful opinions analysis and scouting etc

This one episode the guest is the ffp expert who is a Brighton fan, he doesn’t go into exactly where each penny was spent but says about the books and what leeds submitted and was audited on which had to be accurate

He says leeds spent 45 million the year we went up, which is easy to work out really costa was between 17-21, bamford add ons we’re around 5-8 he then said leeds submitted 450 million while I’m the prem (obviously last year wasn’t Belisa but most clearly was again we brought a load of tripe players under Belisa instruction

He then explains about ffp and how 49ners might have money but they can’t spend it due to ffp

Honestly mate it’s very ensightful of course you’d have to look up companies house etc to see how accurate the expert is but why would he lie and ruin his rep just to make Belisa look bad?

Common sense says Belisa was happy because he was sacked we all know how hard it was to get him to sign and he would only do year at a time etc and meant a load of demands

Ultimately rads backed Belisa to the hilt and Belisa threw away around 400-450 million and made us a joke, ortas ones for the future then saved leeds as without them we’d fail ffp

Leeds fans will never have it but they owe orta as his buys saved the club, they should leave Belisa as 95% of our failings land single handed in his door stop he was a dictator and live by the sword die by it and all that

There is no logical way any leeds fan can argue with me and when I talk to them they always agree but they have to listen to logic common sense and reason and let go of bias which is hard for any football dan myself included.

16.) 03 Sep 2024 18:16:32
Cheers. Fair enough, mate. I will check it out and see what it says as I'm genuinely interested to know the full details. I think we may have crossed wires with what we were talking about as expenditure. I was talking solely about transfers in, so it's feasible that what you say was spent over the seasons, taking everything into account.

17.) 03 Sep 2024 18:37:04
I watched that one The View with Ger.
Your correct Bermo about the 45 mill in championship but it was 350 mill in three premier league seasons which was spent.
Bielsa was in charge for roughly half the 3 seasons in EPL. Not sure where you heard he spent 450 mill in premier league but it wasn’t on The View Podcast.

18.) 03 Sep 2024 19:33:31
Cork of he said 350. I do apologise but I honestly believe he said 450.

If 350 Belisa only midsection two widows of 6 so two thirds of time when the money was spent plus what he spent in first season.

Either way we can all agree Belisa spent a lot of money and had four yearsz managers ask for time and money and he had both Manc made us a joke… never seen a worse team than the one under him when he got sacked. So Belisa has to be seen as a failure no other way to logically view it.

The ffp is real and we were up against it that has to come to belisas failings. Give a manger four years and 100s of millions and you have to expect and demand a better job.

Farke done wonders with less money and a club in shambles. yet he gets a hard time and Belisa is a good! No logic or reason to it and some demanding the 49ners spend money which they have but can’t legally soend it under ffp.

19.) 03 Sep 2024 19:35:24
Berm I don’t mean to dig you out but what signings did Orta make to save our future, save us from ffp?
It was the cash from Gray which kept us in line of ffp.
Granted Summerville was a tidy profit but what other young players did we clean up on?

20.) 03 Sep 2024 21:50:54
So in Bermas posts about who scouted and signed players

Bielsa the coach ( not a manager) is named SEVENTEEN times by Berma

and Orta the DIRECTOR OF FOOTBALL just once.

talk about Bielsa obsessed lol

Two observations.

1 Bielsa wasnt even at club for 95% of 2022, all of 2023 etc.

2 I very much doubt JKA was a Bielsa signing

And

Corky. Orta can't claim any credit on Archie Gray. nowt to do with him.

21.) 03 Sep 2024 22:10:41
Ffp is made from balancing books home made players are pure profit but selling players also counts… you knew that right?

So summerville singed for 1.2 sold for 30 is nearly 39 million profit

Rutter signed for 25 plus add ons (not met) and sold for 40 is around 15-12.5 is sell clause added

Kamara signed for 4 sold for 8 4 million

Orta and grey kept us from getting points deducted.

22.) 03 Sep 2024 23:31:18
Baz let me explain how it worked, it’s well documented and Belisa spoke about it himself but let me educate you

Belisa the manager/ coach said to orta I want a certain
Type of player

Example I want someone to replace pablo or I want a defender who can play as dm as I think passing is more important than being able to defend

Then orta drew up a list of players then bilsea picked final players. it was bubs say

Most reported example of this was end of season one Belisa wanted to replace pablo as he was too old and he insisted we signed costa … well documented baz

There is a reason we never signed a number nine and when we got nakeitia on loan he wasn’t played

There is a reason all cbs signed under Belisa where ball playing defenders who could pass but not great at cb in white (a short right back, kock and lorrentte) there is a reason we didn’t sign a batty type player bubs don’t like them

And if bubs wasn’t happy he’d of walked any leeds fan knows this simple fact

So facts are on the wall, bubs messed up big time top five worst managers in our history.

{Ed001's Note - so Bielsa had final say but yet he didn't want Nketiah. You seem a little confused as you say he would have walked if anyone was signed he didn't agree with. Why didn't he walk then?}

23.) 03 Sep 2024 23:48:26
That’s what I said Baz. Gray was a home grown player not a Orta buy.

24.) 03 Sep 2024 23:56:29
Bermo I’ll ask you again. What young future stars did Orta sign apart from Summerville?
And going by your reasoning then Summerville was a Bielsa signing as he signed off on all transfers?

25.) 03 Sep 2024 23:58:46
Archie Gray nothing to do with Orta.

26.) 04 Sep 2024 03:53:26
Calling our most successful manager of the past 20 years a top 5 worst manager in our history is hilarious tbh. The man achieved a title and our highest placed finish in the football pyramid since 03/ 04 with a team that was, on paper, objectively quite poor. Don't get me started on on how he would've done with this team last season, but let's just say we wouldn't be visiting places like Deepdale again this season.

27.) 04 Sep 2024 04:46:03
Dill some of Bermas pozts to his credit are mildly entertaining whost also being unintentionally hilarious and preposterous.

Berma do you recall that hilarious post a couple of years ago you made about that 500/ 1 sure thing bet made by from one of your friends/ family members?

28.) 04 Sep 2024 08:28:21
Ed Belisa must of wanted nekita to a degree beilsa said he had final say in all first team sigings and matters

He clearly didn’t rate him maybe he was bottom of the list and we couldn’t get others but anyone who knows him knows he would of walked if not happy look at getting him to sign contract each season.

Cork read my posts and be educated about your team… it’s well documented Belisa had finial say in first team players orta brought the ones for the future which is why Belisa never played them as they wasn’t his singings

Basic flow chart for you … first team= Belisa has final say

Youth team orta picked them…. It’s not hard

Dill success is relative… southgate lost successful England manager outside of sir alf but he was useless and massively under achieved he just had best players

Belisa got promotion but what other leeds manager had 45 million to spend to get it?

I just directed a film it did really well and been compared to snatch… snatch cost ten million 20 years ago mine cost 250k last year how can you really compare the two when you look at it like that?

{Ed001's Note - if he had wanted him, then he would have played him according to you. If he didn't rate him, he wouldn't have wanted him. Who knows? Well clearly not you. All you have is an agenda against Bielsa. You really should read back your own posts to realise how much of a knot you are tying yourself up in trying to make this agenda of yours make some kind of sense.}

29.) 04 Sep 2024 12:44:20
I agree about Southga, mate. He underachiever with the team he had as he's a bad manager. So the comparison makes literally zero sense because Bielsa overachieved with a midtable Leeds squad. We were crap when he came and even in the Prem the squad was poor, but he got the best out of them the season we went up and the first EPL season.

Was fun to watch while doing so those seasons as well. Will forever be grateful to him for that time period.
