Flight from Annecy tomorrow, likely nothing but Maitland Niles has been a rumour before that would give us a lot more options.

CanadaWhite

1.) 01 Feb 2026 20:30:11
Another one from London as well.

2.) 02 Feb 2026 02:04:22
Seville now added. Hopefully have some deals done on Deadline Day!

3.) 02 Feb 2026 05:06:03
Any medicals booked?

4.) 02 Feb 2026 07:12:09
Akor Adams Fits the profile:
Powerful, 6 foot 3 striker known for his excellent physicality, aerial ability, and clinical close-range finishing. He excels at holding up the ball, making intelligent runs, and maintaining a high work rate.

5.) 02 Feb 2026 07:21:21
We have been linked with Ruben Vargas all window, could it finally be happening?

6.) 02 Feb 2026 08:01:50
Only medicals booked are to check how healthy Paraag's bank account is.

Results are back, it is in a very healthy state as he hasn't f'kin spent anything!

7.) 02 Feb 2026 08:23:17
Which has got to be positive for the club right MG?

8.) 02 Feb 2026 08:37:27
Not if we go down Alf.

16 Jul 2025 21:56:57
Flight from Nice tomorrow at East Leeds.
Breel Embolo would be nice!

CanadaWhite

1.) 16 Jul 2025 22:55:42
Don't need another injury prone striker.

2.) 16 Jul 2025 23:47:29
Not injury prone, had one bad season yes, over 40 games in multiple seasons in last 5 or so years.

3.) 17 Jul 2025 00:55:31
He's missed less than 10 games with injury in 2 seasons since 2018

He's injury prone and not at the level to be our main striker

Easy pass.

4.) 17 Jul 2025 09:17:14
Sorry Borat I don't get that missed 10 games since 2018 yet injury prone? Is that a typo.

5.) 17 Jul 2025 10:38:37
Not a typo, just misread

I said there have only been 2 seasons since 2018 where he's missed less than 10 league matches with injury

And he missed the entirety of the season before last.

6.) 17 Jul 2025 11:15:31
Right I understand now, forgive the oldie buddy.

7.) 17 Jul 2025 11:37:16
There’s been media stories linking us to two players who play for Nice - one of whom would be very nice - but of course there’s probably little substance to either link.

8.) 17 Jul 2025 13:04:34
Maybe you haven't accounted for Bundesliga and Ligue 1 playing less games a season Borat, as he has missed 5,29,2,5,3,6,14 league games by season so only 2 of the last 7 seasons has he missed more than 10 games. No clue if he was injured 7 years ago or wasn't a regular starter but certainly not what I'd call injury prone.

9.) 17 Jul 2025 20:50:43
I don't think for a minute there is anything in this Embolo link (is it even a link or just a comment that he's available and in our price range? ) But at £13m he must be worth a punt?

10.) 17 Jul 2025 21:27:52
Comment only.

11.) 18 Jul 2025 11:29:04
Lads just wait again until they are actually playing for us all paper talk and rumours I think like every year.

15 Jun 2025 13:31:12
Lukas Nmecha allegedly close to signing on a free.
Wasn't there some mention of him or his brother being at ER recently?
This could have legs to it.

CanadaWhite

1.) 15 Jun 2025 13:43:21
Yeah should be confirmed today. Him or his brother. I keep getting told it’s felix but lukas seems more plausible to me.

He failed his medical with a broken ankle but clearly they are still prepared to take a chance on him.

2.) 15 Jun 2025 15:06:02
Another player who won't play!

3.) 15 Jun 2025 15:59:37
It’s been confirmed it is Lukas.

4.) 15 Jun 2025 16:03:25
I take it he's the one that was taken to a different hospital after failing medical as reported a week or so back, could be a risk or a master stroke we shall see in the near future guys and gals.

5.) 15 Jun 2025 16:28:58
Yes, correct.

6.) 15 Jun 2025 17:18:05
My personal view is that he will prove to be a quality signing, and on a free!

7.) 15 Jun 2025 19:21:59
Agree bright. I think he will be something special and maybe even coax his brother to come and join us later as well.

8.) 15 Jun 2025 21:26:54
This is how transfers should be. Under the radar and just announced when completed. Let's hope there are several more pleasant surprises.

9.) 16 Jun 2025 12:47:42
seems it was Nmecha who had to get the second medical done. Bit of a dicey injury record so that's probably why they wanted a more thorough check.

31 Aug 2023 21:54:40
What happened to the Facundo Buonotte (or whatever the spelling is) rumours?
CAM still very much a need we haven't filled yet.

CanadaWhite

1.) 31 Aug 2023 22:44:56
There were suggestions that Buonotte may end up staying, following the injury to Julio Enciso, but the reported Ansu Fati loan from Barcelona may enable Brighton to loan out Buonotte afterall.

2.) 31 Aug 2023 22:51:19
Genuinely don’t think we need a 10, Farke has said he likes Summerville there and last game we had piroe and Rutter rotating in that role.

23 Aug 2023 21:15:35
According to Romano bid in for Nadiem Amiri.
Know nothing of him, anyone?

CanadaWhite

1.) 23 Aug 2023 22:02:24
Wikipedia has him a Leeds player already.

2.) 23 Aug 2023 22:39:40
Saw that Chris, very quick off the mark and funny too!

3.) 24 Aug 2023 07:01:29
Saw him score a cheeky back heel goal once.

4.) 24 Aug 2023 07:33:22
Absolutely no chance! He’s fairly regular starter for them, maybe less under Alonso but still too good for Championship. If he’s available, another Bundesliga side will get him.

5.) 24 Aug 2023 07:35:50
Seen articles giving him good stats per 90 mins, but he’s played only limited minutes - for example, last season he had 13 starts across league and cup competitions, and 23 sub appearances (including 2 v Farke’s Borussia Monchengladbach - getting the winning assist in the away match) and only completing 90 minutes 4 times) . To be fair, Leverkusen were stacked in midfield, and he had some decent competition for minutes.

Injury history shows one fairly lengthy layoff with a fatigue injury, a number of small niggles, but nothing other than CV and other sickness in last couple of seasons.

Seems to be very decent technically with a good range of passes - apparently similar attributes to Baz’s beloved Pablo Hernandez though with less pace, but better off the ball.

6.) 24 Aug 2023 08:16:13
Very interesting clue! Maybe we do have a chance of getting him!

7.) 24 Aug 2023 10:27:17
The latest reports from Sky sports say he wants to sign for Marseille, so I think we can forget about it, seemed unlikely anyway.

8.) 24 Aug 2023 17:17:58
I’ve just read some reports saying he’s actually agreed to join us and has signed a 4 year deal! Fee between €5-6m so about £4.5m in old money. If true could be an absolute steal!

I see Stach made the German squad.
Happy, not happy.

CanadaWhite

1.) 19 Mar 2026 17:49:11.
Good news, potentially!

As international recognition will/should increase Stach's self-confidence, transfer resale value, and improve his game.

With the caveat, though, that hopefully Stach steers clear of any injury on international duty.

And, oh yes.. pleeeeaaaase, can Mr Farke, crucially from now on, designate preferably Stach or Nmecha on penalty taking duties (not DCL!) . Cheers.

2.) 19 Mar 2026 18:08:25
Shiver my timbers. ??? It's only Bazinald back in the building.

Welcome back, pal.

3.) 19 Mar 2026 18:57:34

{Ed025's Note - i will be his probation officer CO92 and keeping my eye on him very closely mate.. :)

5.) 19 Mar 2026 20:30:01
Lol Class, in my designer clothes tags no problemo.

6.) 19 Mar 2026 21:58:38
Baz, you're back.
Good to hear from you again.

7.) 19 Mar 2026 22:35:18
Cheers, Cleggy, pal, much appreciated. ?

8.) 19 Mar 2026 22:52:35

Cheers, Whitey and LUFCfeath, much appreciated, fellas.

16 Mar 2026 20:22:01
Not sure about anyone else but the upcoming international break has me worried.
We have picked up too many injuries on these breaks and I still remember how the Welsh boys all came back a mess after not qualifying a while back.

Took them weeks to get back to normal levels.
Knowing our luck everyone possible will get a call up and we'll be messed up as a result.

CanadaWhite

1.) 16 Mar 2026 21:51:35
Fingers crossed for all of em!

2.) 17 Mar 2026 06:08:46
I have been thinking the same for a while. I hope history doesn't repeat. If you remember, we played Palace (at home) just before as well. At least that outcome wasn't the same.

23 Feb 2026 20:54:01
Anyone else noticed Harrison is starting and playing lots for Fiorentina and they've started to climb the table a little.
I hope he does well enough for them to want to buy him.

CanadaWhite

1.) 23 Feb 2026 21:16:26
All the best to him, Joffy, Bamford, Phillips, and the whole cavalcade of ex-Leeds lads.

2.) 24 Feb 2026 11:30:05
Delighted for him, but that's because, personally, for any player who behaved as Harrison has, in declaring his love of Everton and discarding Leeds United, I never, ever want them back. Harsh, irrational, almost certainly, but I'm very blinkered where Leeds United are concerned, and I make no apologies for it.

3.) 24 Feb 2026 12:54:38
Just as a matter of interest, Class. Do you feel the same way about Cantona, Milna, Ferdinand, Smith, Raphina, White, Gray, Rutter, Summerville? All put great shifts in while they were with us, but most went on to achieve more without us.

Bit old school, expecting loyalty. If that was the case in the modern game, transfer fees would be way less. Cause Raphina would pretty much only be worth what we paid for him rather than 5 times more.

4.) 24 Feb 2026 13:11:43
To answer your question, Aus, do I feel the same? No. All of your examples, however much it pains me to say it (as we're talking Devon here) , went on to bigger things than we could provide at the time. So, good luck to them. Smith and Ferdinand still hurts, but that is because of who it was.

We were blessed to have Raphinia (one of the best players in world football) as long as we did. But Harrison (his mum too) , even BA, still smarts. I would also draw you towards my original post: harsh, irrational, absoblooming loutely. It is just a personal vengeance thing that eases my pettiness a little.

5.) 24 Feb 2026 14:06:06
It all depends on the circumstances of the move, and sometimes the club they go to. Some, like Raphina, did it the right way, giving 100% right up to the end of his contract and moving on with (most of) our best wishes.

Others were not so, like Jack Harrison and Harry Kewell, for instance. I'm a big believer in "never go back", but some of those listed I might consider re-signing if the time were right.

6.) 24 Feb 2026 14:22:14
You can't lump BA and Harrison into the same bracket, surely? BA made a mistake, then spent a season and a half running more than Forrest Gump on whizz. Not to mention the points he has won us with his goals and assists.

7.) 24 Feb 2026 15:07:16
Agree, Mo. BA made a mistake, but despite getting a hard time at the beginning of his "comeback" he's never stopped giving his all, and has improved significantly as a player. We all make mistakes, but BA rectified his, while JH didn't and probably wasn't too bothered.

8.) 24 Feb 2026 15:36:25
Don't get me wrong, Mo. I cheer anyone who wears the shirt, and I actually hated the booing of JH in the friendly at the Aviva Stadium, and I cheered him! But, whilst I was not in favour of booing a player wearing the shirt, I did not shed a tear when JH left, and I agree BA has run himself into the ground to reintegrate himself, and credit to him, but I would be non plusses if/when he leaves. As I said, it's irrational.

9.) 25 Feb 2026 18:43:37
Harrison who? BA is a far better player. I did like him, but kissing the badge of Everton was just too much. ?

27 Jan 2026 22:02:04
Time to offer Wolves 1 million less than our last offer, repeat every day until the close of the window, if they need to sell, we will get him as all he has to do is refuse any other team.

CanadaWhite

17 Jan 2026 18:31:43
We have as many points as Leicester managed all last season, and they financially cheated to achieve that!

Not correct at all, Ben.
People assume it does, but not so. Even in an un-biased system, it doesn't, as proven by the ridiculous number of times we are drawn away in cups. Every Cup game is a 50:50 (it's irrelevant what has happened previously) , but the facts show it doesn't even out for everyone.

In the EPL, the money is so big that not working out evenly can unfairly cost someone hundreds of millions.
I have no issue with refs getting things wrong sometimes. They have split seconds to make a call in a high-paced game, but VAR has no excuses!

Subs were baffling?
His subs ensured we got a point while 2 men down.
And you wouldn't have had Struijk on the pitch to take a penalty, as he's useless according to you.
