On plane watch @ LBA, private jet from Gdansk in Poland. Could this be DCL's back-up Tomas Bobcek, 6'2" 20 goals in 30 games, Slovakian international, 24 years old? Clutching at straws here, probs a load of rubbish, but worth a punt.

Good in the air, quick, good turn, and presses well. Seems to be valued at £8-10m by the club.
He may not be the one, but there are players out there in Europe who are much better value than buying in the domestic market.

Personally, always liked Oka, a big, strong, fast over 5 yards unit. Anyone who understands football can surely see that. His only downfall is being injury prone and only being able to last 60 mins.
He's only 26, so hope we can get him fitter.
Paxo Smackso for me. Doesn't want Leeds, Farke won't have him. We do need cover though, an up and coming Raphinha would be great.

This is driving me nuts! 49's don't say anything until deals are penned, we are all searching for reliable information that does not materialise. Even Romano gets it wrong (Pax last year) . I used to enjoy watching Leeds in the Championship, attacking style, with threats from lots of areas. I think his confidence is knocked from trying to attack at home and trying to pinch a goal away from home. It's very much risk and reward, and he has to be braver this year with the little bit of quality we have bought.
Still a ways to go though, it's a marathon, not a sprint, I hope he can establish the Championship days when teams were s*** scared of us home and away..MOT.
