Kalvin Phillips pushing for a move to Sunderland after yet again been turned down by LUFC, he’s currently in Manchester training but that could change and has a medical booked in Sunderland waiting just incase.
1.) 02 Feb 2026 11:48:13
Gotta feel for the guy. Never get to play for Leeds again. Rich bastard though.
2.) 02 Feb 2026 13:33:11
Now seems to be Sheffield utd as Sunderland wouldn’t guarantee him playing time.
3.) 02 Feb 2026 14:12:53
Shame. And I mean it. Proud Leeds lad. Took the next step and didn’t work out. Freefall now. Good luck to him and hope he bounces back at some point.
4.) 02 Feb 2026 14:46:42
Yeah, I like the lad. Think the move to Man City was suicidal but like all players heads get turned.
5.) 02 Feb 2026 16:23:23
Just one of a number of players who've gone to Man City and then found they didn't fit the Pep plan.
Phillips, Grealish, Cole Palmer, Trafford - maybe others I've forgotten.
6.) 02 Feb 2026 16:39:48
Aus, if you think KP is a rich bastard, you may be interested to learn that (according to the Sunday Times) Erling Haaland pays £16.9M per year in tax, that's £325,000 per week, and that only puts him at no 72 in the top 100 taxpayers.
7.) 02 Feb 2026 17:35:08
The blunts are going to have a 50% Leeds team as the window closes! Hjelde and Rothwell also on their way there!
06 Jan 2026 20:28:34
Leeds in contact with wolves over strand Larsen, wolves in financial trouble and looking to sell, but seemingly many suitors. Monies touted around £25million. Means if this doesn’t come off it does seem we may have some money to spend this window.
{Ed001's Note - isn't it the other way round? Wolves have been trying to shift him and contacting everyone.}
1.) 06 Jan 2026 20:58:52
Quite right. You need to put a full stop between the 2 and the 5. £2.5m is about right.
2.) 06 Jan 2026 21:59:09
He’s surely better value than Parrott.
3.) 06 Jan 2026 22:59:11
Have you heard this from the club LAD or elsewhere?
4.) 06 Jan 2026 23:38:47
Please don't buy parrot.
5.) 07 Jan 2026 16:10:30
From the club ALF,
6.) 07 Jan 2026 16:13:27
I’m not sure who got in contact with who Ed to be honest. I just hear it from the Leeds side point of view and we’ve been in touch with them or they’ve been in touch with us ?♂️ but either way, we are considering the offer / terms about signing him.
7.) 07 Jan 2026 17:24:08
we are certainly up against a lot of competition but this would be an amazing signing if we could pull it off.
{Ed025's Note - i think you already have better imo Alf..
8.) 07 Jan 2026 20:06:13
Strand Larsen was good last season, but this season only one goal from 18 appearences - we can do better IMO. Callum Wilson might be a better (and cheaper) bet if he negotiates an end to his contract with Spam and becomes a free agent.
9.) 07 Jan 2026 22:45:01
I think Wilson is already a free agent.
10.) 07 Jan 2026 22:46:15
Don't think you can judge the quality of Larsen on this season. Wolves are a complete mess. Be hard for anyone to perform well in that team this year.
11.) 08 Jan 2026 14:52:53
My biggest worry with Larsen is the contract Wolves just tied him to, which they're clearly looking to get off the books asap!
01 Sep 2025 10:11:04
Rumours around the training ground currently are Harry Wilson and emi Buendia but probably won’t be both.
1.) 01 Sep 2025 10:51:17
Both quality additions prefer buendia.
2.) 01 Sep 2025 10:54:09
And Hamer.
3.) 01 Sep 2025 10:55:38
Meslier also not wanting to leave this summer and run his contract down for a bumper contract come January when he’s free to speak to other clubs.
4.) 01 Sep 2025 11:14:37
Would love to see Harry in. Has had more minutes over Emi last few seasons and has that variety of playing on the wing as well.
5.) 01 Sep 2025 11:33:48
Bakwa gone forest.
6.) 01 Sep 2025 12:13:30
Bloody mez. Never liked him by the way.
23 Aug 2025 21:15:38
@ Alf
That medical you was talking about is booked for tomorrow mid morning to early afternoon.
1.) 23 Aug 2025 22:05:47
JJ I bet
We need more than that though.
2.) 24 Aug 2025 06:32:43
Thanks LAD.
3.) 24 Aug 2025 06:35:09
Yes I hear JJ is done.
4.) 24 Aug 2025 08:14:53
Another great move, and added versatility!
5.) 24 Aug 2025 14:57:38
Would've thought it would be reported by now if there was a medical today.
6.) 24 Aug 2025 16:10:07
Dorito - Leeds medical take at least 2 days!
7.) 24 Aug 2025 16:29:03
And Leeds medicals are always reported at the time they start, Nmecha and Bornauw both came out of nowhere and we still knew of both by the day the medical begun.
19 Aug 2025 13:50:44
Medical booked for tomorrow.
Early rumours are it’s Noah Okafor, updates to follow.
1.) 19 Aug 2025 14:47:11
LAD back in the loop!
2.) 20 Aug 2025 10:49:15
It is Noah from Milan. Medical to be completed and should be announced today.

{Ed's Note - Loveawaydays2 has posted a new article entitled, Leeds and the Run-In: Can We Reach 40 Points?
1.) 17 Feb 2026 08:12:30
Good write up LAD. it's achievable certainly unless we do something Leedsy but we wouldn't, would we?
2.) 17 Feb 2026 12:31:39
Nice one LAD, totally agree re Wet Spam and Florists. Of the others can't really see anyone apart from Spuds and Brighton coming close but you would think they have too much, just. Next 3 games are vital for us, Villa away I can see us getting something as well as home v Citeh.
If we don't the home game v Sunderland is massive. Personally I can see us getting 46+ points. Pressure is a massive influencer and if the 3 just below us don't pick up wins in the next few games it's going to be a bun fight for them with no butter. Confident our boys can handle the heat and make us proud. UTWDTP wiv some hot cross buns.
3.) 17 Feb 2026 20:19:18
Only 40 days to go until we can enjoy hot cross buns. I hope you had your pancakes today. ?.

Great post LAD2 think there’s always a twist, do either Spuds or Forest get a bounce from their new Manager, your right Nuno definitely has turned Wet Sham around of late, with Cy in hot scoring form.
I think we will actually get there with a couple to spare, but have a feeling Nuno may yet escape condemning one of his old employers, mainly due to the European fixtures placing additional pressures on their squads.
30 Dec 2025 23:03:52
Last season 26 points would have kept you in this league, I fully believe we will need way more than this, this season but comparing to last year half way through after 19 games the bottom 3 were
Tractors 15 points
Foxes 14 points
Saints 6 points
This season currently
West Ham 14
Burnley 12
Wolves 3
So currently less points needed midway through the season.
Hopefully the season follows last seasons form for the bottom 3.
1.) 31 Dec 2025 00:43:22
A Wolves win at home to Wet Spam on Saturday will do nicely.
2.) 31 Dec 2025 00:58:22
You could reasonably think the bottom two are down. I can’t see any reason why their form could suddenly improve. I know ours did but seem stuck in the mud. Spam or forest could still pose a problem though.
3.) 31 Dec 2025 07:12:43
I'm thinking about 40 this season to stay up. Bottom 3 last season were truly abysmal.
4.) 31 Dec 2025 08:09:31
Sounded like Burnley should've won vs Geordies, and the Spam result wasn't so bad considering the opponent. This is far from over unfortunately.
5.) 31 Dec 2025 10:56:46
Great post LAD.
Agree Brighty, large lady is far from singing as yet, Wolves put on a very spirited display away at Devon yesterday and could have easily won that game, the big unit up top for them was a constant menace throughout and lightning quick, he would have been a handy signing.
The thing that worries me as much as the transfer window is the significant Wales contingent within our squad, if they lose their playoff game, well, we have seen the Welsh players lose form quickly after a significant defeat.
6.) 31 Dec 2025 11:27:01
Fair points lads, I would concur with Alf that 40 points should do the trick. Think Wolves have too big a mountain to climb. Burnley have 2 fatal flaws in that they can't put away their chances and their defence is awful. Wet Spam can't seem to hold on to a lead or win at home which is going to make it real tough for them.
Florists seem to have hit a flat spot after their initial bounce. If we continue to perform at home and chisel out some away points we will be absolutely fine. Here's lookin forward to 2 cracking games coming up ?.
7.) 31 Dec 2025 16:38:29
The way things are going Class, none of them my be playing in the international play off with James and Rodon both injured already.
Also I think the last time Farke set a points target of 90 in the Championship to get automatic promotion, it failed.
Got to try and win every game, I’ve got a feeling that 18th place will be a very unusually high pointer come the end of this season.
8.) 31 Dec 2025 19:49:09
I’d take them missing playoffs Opti, but end of March means they may all be available, Amps fans really upped his game lately and it would be terrible if we were impacted by a Wales loss.
Of course they might win and qualify!
And that would boost their confidence, come on Wales!
29 Nov 2025 21:10:04
Alf mention bo Svensson on the 17th Nov, seems they have approached him and invited him to talks. Will have to see how this progresses but personally don’t see farke going this week. As Alf and others mentioned they seem to want the replacement lined up before firing him.
1.) 29 Nov 2025 21:48:14
Svenson still being paid as part of his severance terms seemingly, so he's in no hurry for. employment you would assume .
09 Nov 2025 17:54:59
Question for the people that would like Farke sacked, which I believe will be about 95% of the fan base (me included) .
Do we give farke the next 4 games knowing we probably won’t get any points, and then replace him with someone who will hopefully give us the new manger bounce
Or
Sack him now and replace him and run the risk of the new manager potentially also picking up zero points from the next 4 and possibly having the fans not on his side and losing any potential new manager bounce.
Once you’ve decided that, then let’s ask, who is currently available or realistically going to come.
Any manager doing well isn’t going to drop everything to come to a club that isn’t doing well AND, and it’s a big AND, to a club who potentially can’t afford to back him in the transfer window.
1.) 09 Nov 2025 18:13:50
Well LAD, fing is, it matters not who we play, the problem is the problem at the moment which is, we just ain't competing. So, do you give DF time to play the same way, because he ain't going to change, OR do you change the mentality, which is the problem. We have a break which at least gives a little time to acclimatise, the league is brutal, don't change now same problem throughout December, when is a good time? The direction of travel HAS to change.
Get shot, what do we have to lose because quite honestly it can't be more bleak.
2.) 09 Nov 2025 18:22:20
Agree with Vid. No one expects owt from next four games anyway - maybe new guy comes in and instills a bit of passion and urgency in the team and we subsequently nick a few points.
One thing for sure is that it is highly unlikely with present leader.
3.) 09 Nov 2025 18:28:05
The longer a new manager works with the squad the better chance they have regardless of the upcoming fixtures, time to formulate a system that suits the players we have, employ a set piece coach instill a work ethic and get the players onboard with the vision and how to deliver.
I see a lot of players don’t look like they believe in the set up and how we are playing.
I mean most of us are left scratching our heads so they must be too.
I think he on the verge of really losing the dressing room.
But having seen how long it took Parag to sack Russell Martin I’m not sure we will make the change.
4.) 09 Nov 2025 19:14:20
I've said before, sack him now.
Give the new two weeks of training and a win of games that are 'unwinnable' with any points achieved a big win.
Let him assess the team and open the cheque book in the January window to strengthen our weaknesses highlighted by the new manager.
New years, new Leeds, init.

The ITKs guessed correctly then, no incomings.
Must of dreamt Leeds announcing the loan signing of Facundo Buonanotte.
02 Feb 2026 14:46:42

27 Jan 2026 23:24:04
Raggity, how does the media know we’ve bid on JSL? because someone told them? (if true) (in this case it’s true) and who gains by letting the media know they’ve bid but not at asking price? Who gains by adding pressure to the situation? Who possibly gets more money if more suitors are interested? So it’s clearly isn’t Leeds united leaking this to the press, and if it’s Wolves doing it then do you think it’s as simple as adding a few million onto our offer and clicking submit?
It’s not fifa or football manager where you click a few buttons and you have a new player.
23 Jan 2026 11:34:56
His reps have been in Leeds at ER and training ground to check out the area. He seems keen on the move. Just a sale price to be agreed. This started around the 6th Jan when the reps were first met (possibly even earlier, but that’s when I was told they first met) .
Shows how complex these transfers can be, that after 17 days or so the bid finally went in. Or they just couldn’t find a better alternative? Who knows.

For me, work out the average time the ball was in play last season, around 65ish mins I think I read. Move the timer up a little, for example 70/80mins, then, when the ball goes out of play, stop the timer. This means long throw-ins can take 30 seconds to sort himself out, with no consequence for the losing team.
I think that's what they do in rugby, and I guess it works? Also, when a player is down injured, let the physio come on whilst the game is playing. If the injury is serious, the physio can stop the game, but then the timer stops and the player must be substituted.
09 Feb 2026 13:49:51
To replace the bit part player that no1 really liked or warned too but was there as a training partner better than the u21s who we loaned out and replaced with a loan. Nothing gained nothing lost.
02 Feb 2026 15:44:57
I backed them at 20s to get in play offs once they took wilder back on. It’s been up and down since but then 3 I imagine odds will come down drastically if they put a few wins together.
02 Feb 2026 08:11:41
No you just attack everyone at the team you support instead. Daily.
01 Feb 2026 22:20:21
Long lost fan please stay lost. You are our most negative poster by far. I’ve just clicked on your profile to see all your recent post and other than stating facts like “Tom fellows signs for blah blah” you actually add nothing other than slating paraag and underwood at every opportunity.
(also called out in your recent posts by some1) it’s incredibly boring to read a post offering nothing constructive other than abuse towards the players or management.
