Luca Netz to Forest 2.5m, you couldn’t write this ?.
1.) 02 Feb 2026 16:53:32
Parag obviously not asleep yet.
Forest have picked up 2 fantastic signings for less than 3 million.
Underwood still waiting for phone to ring RE JSL.
No plan B.
Farke back with 1 up top see you in the championship.
Even wolves are getting people in and they are a sunken ship!
2.) 02 Feb 2026 17:32:04
Give it a rest, LLF.
3.) 02 Feb 2026 17:38:58
All true what I said.
01 Feb 2026 14:36:43
Medical with Palace booked for JSL!
FINALLY WE CAN PUT THIS ONE TO BED.
Blunderwood it’s time to save our season pal.
1.) 01 Feb 2026 17:08:13
Strand Larsen 1 in 22. They are welcome to him.
2.) 01 Feb 2026 18:02:14
If the 9'ers are sticking with what we have they are pursuing a very risky strategy
Anything happen to Lewin currently we are deep in brown then with goals still being so scarce for us
So let's hope they strengthen tomorrow.
3.) 01 Feb 2026 18:15:10
Nobody wants to be deep in the brown.
4.) 01 Feb 2026 18:49:45
Mateta deal about to collapse.
5.) 01 Feb 2026 21:34:56
Tactics to shave off a few million no doubt.
30 Jan 2026 13:35:27
For those fed up of the JSL saga!
Lucas Perri is apparently of interest to Besiktas.
If it’s true would you sell now?
1.) 30 Jan 2026 15:31:16
I would sell, but the enquiry has been rejected.
2.) 30 Jan 2026 16:27:28
I probably would sell as he is clearly not suited to the English game. We'd need to source a replacement, but for now we're OK with Darlow as 1st choice and Meslier as backup.
3.) 30 Jan 2026 18:00:12
No way we are selling Perri in Jan
We could be in the market again in the summer though then we may sell.
4.) 30 Jan 2026 19:56:16
Take the money and run, he's a busted flush.
5.) 30 Jan 2026 20:23:25
Mohamed Amoura done deal.
12 Jan 2026 15:00:30
Just seen on newsnow that OGC Nice striker Terem Moffi is linked with us, he’s in a legal process with Nice to terminate his contract. Not sure of the ins and outs of this with Nice, he’s a 1 in 3 striker across his career and has decent pace power etc.
could be nothing story but if he is available on a cheap or free deal it’s a very Leeds deal to be done.
1.) 12 Jan 2026 17:48:16
A striker like Moffi would be Nice.
2.) 12 Jan 2026 19:05:31
Mo, it’s time to get ya coat. ??.
3.) 12 Jan 2026 21:08:09
I'll get mi coat and call a taxi. If you see my mates, terem amoffi home.
4.) 12 Jan 2026 21:56:51
????.
5.) 13 Jan 2026 07:05:28
That 2nd one Mo! ?????????.
6.) 13 Jan 2026 17:53:46
Moffi is at a tribunal on Thursday with his legal team arguing that his contract should be terminated on personal safety grounds as he and some other players were assaulted by Nice fans in November when the team bus was attacked. Don't think he's played or even trained since then.
7.) 13 Jan 2026 23:15:52
They don't sound like Nice fans.
30 Dec 2025 08:58:43
Spanish outlet Marca are reporting that Carlos Corberan’s Valencia are in talks to take Jack Harrison in January. I’d guess on loan.
1.) 30 Dec 2025 12:54:29
Fingers crossed dav.
2.) 30 Dec 2025 13:33:29
Aus, it would be a good move for all concerned.

07 Jun 2026 16:00:38
Mental men.
A few rumbling that the one and only Igor Paixao will be sold this summer and Marseille will accept €30m for him.
Would ya?
Him, Roony and Okafor as options behind DCL or another would be ridiculous.
1.) 07 Jun 2026 16:19:04
Why?
Not many clubs buy a 35m player one year and want to sell him the next. If true, there must be a story in there somewhere.
{Ed001's Note - Marseille are in financial difficulties. Their whole 'team evil' concept has flopped badly, with so many off field problems amongst the players (anyone surprised at that?) and they are in a mess. They will need to shed a lot of players.}
2.) 07 Jun 2026 17:01:53
No chance, not happening, and big no thanks!
Paxo beef cubes rejected Leeds United last seez. Paxo clearly sees himself as bigger and better than Leeds. He'll be off to another Champions League club, probably Italian.
And, Marathe himself said, in a recent interview, he only wants to sign players who understand and get Leeds.
That, for sure, ain't Paxo.
By the way, Dave, since when did we sign Wayne Rooney? Thought he had long retired to the sanctuary of MOTD punditry.
3.) 07 Jun 2026 17:02:51
Marseille were given a small fine in 2022 after they agreed to meet UEFA's sustainability/fair play rules, which they had not been doing.
In the last three years, they've had a deficit of nearly EUR160m, including over EUR100m last season.
They've been hit by falling French TV revenues, and are concerned that they may get a ban from any European competitions.
Paixo may not be wanted at Marseille for a number of reasons, but they need cash; he's had a good season, and he'll be in demand. He probably won't be the only one to go.
4.) 07 Jun 2026 17:03:26
Daffy Duck Him.
Certainly seems like a player we beat stay out wide from.
5.) 07 Jun 2026 19:11:57
Baz, think Dave was referring to links with Roony Bardhji, the Barcelona winger.
6.) 07 Jun 2026 19:41:23
Ealing, ? .. Yep, if you believe the clickbait, half a dozen EPL teams have made enquiries..
Probably end up on loan to a club in another league, though.. Dutch or French league.
So still more chance of us signing Wayne Rooney.
7.) 07 Jun 2026 21:28:03
Bazilbrush, I was referring to Roony Bardhji.
Obvs all the links right now are clickbait.
Unfortunately that's all we have at the minute.
Wayne (granny fettler) has an E in it!
8.) 07 Jun 2026 22:18:18
Classic sixties and seventies telly?.. I had you down as younger, Davey.
9.) 08 Jun 2026 06:11:20
Boom boom!
10.) 08 Jun 2026 09:37:30
Vintage 1976 Baz lad.
05 Jun 2026 07:46:51
Rumours are rife about Florentino Perez promising the Real Madrid fans a new £150m galactico next Tuesday.
So given that I'd like to be the first to thank Brendan Aaronson for his service and wish home well in his new life in Madrid.
1.) 05 Jun 2026 09:05:10
Here, here, Dave. Wakey, wakey, mate.
2.) 05 Jun 2026 09:59:29
Ba has been a Leeds United player for a whopping four years.
Apart from Danny, Jackie and Pascal, he is currently our longest serving player!
With just one year left on his contract, something's gotta give.
Either he leaves this summer.
Or, more likely, his fellow compatriots Marathe and Co hand him a shiny new 4 year Leeds United contract in the next couple of weeks.
Prepare yourselves, peeps.
3.) 05 Jun 2026 10:09:00
Let's hope he has a storming World Cup and scores goals galore. Get some coin for him.
4.) 05 Jun 2026 11:15:21
Maybe Becks could sign him for Inter Miami?
5.) 05 Jun 2026 17:49:22
I for one hope he stays at Leeds. He's never really been given credit for his hard work, our goalkeeper has made more mistakes than him. I just don't get it.
6.) 05 Jun 2026 18:04:23
Nice thought, Dave. I'm still convinced he has a video of Daniel in arseless Lederhosen dancing to 99 Luft Ballons. No one will tell me otherwise. Also, I heard it was BA who told Daniel to change formation against City. I made that last bit up.
7.) 05 Jun 2026 18:27:17
It's ok. BA is staying as Real Madrid have lowered their expectations and want to buy Olise instead. Their loss is our gain.
8.) 05 Jun 2026 22:41:19
To be fair to Brendan, he has modified and changed his game here in England. When he first arrived, he tried to compete physically and go shoulder to shoulder, and then fall over. This season, he seems to jink and try to get space away from the opposition, and try to outpace them.
He, and quite a few of our players, are and have developed this season. When I think of the teams above trying to buy success, it just shows what is really achievable.
9.) 06 Jun 2026 02:12:42
Yeah. Agree, Ben. He has improved, but I would still sell him now rather than give him another contract or run it down.
10.) 07 Jun 2026 07:36:34
Ironically, I reckon Brendan would do very well in Spain, or Italy for that matter! A few goals in the WC might get him a good move?
27 May 2026 07:48:00
I’m seeing a big split in opinion regarding the suggested number of player sales this summer.
For me, I do feel we need to clear the decks, for the new financial regs we can’t be wasting wages on players who simply will not offer much or be used by the gaffer.
So
My feeling is we will do our best to offload around 10-12 and bring in 5/6 good quality signings then some stocking fillers.
1.) 27 May 2026 09:10:17
Think offloading be harder than it sounds, especially with some of the wages. Just need to try and give away as best we can. Get some dosh for Struik, Perri and try improve in a few key positions. Offers for other players to be considered, but not bog, just Rodon, Bijol, Gabby, Amps, Stach, Okafor.
2.) 27 May 2026 09:34:31
I think a big part of the team's success has been due to the spirit and teamwork. I don't want that destroyed. I think the players who have been away this season should go, and maybe two or three of the current squad.
The rest, I think, will stay, and we should buy three too quality signings and add a couple or so of squad players (loans?) .
We were stretched at the end of the season. I don't like paddling, but sometimes it helps.
3.) 27 May 2026 10:08:58
"Padding". ?
4.) 27 May 2026 14:33:39
My thoughts also, Dunelm. I'd keep most of those who've made regular appearances this season, and then add a few good quality new players. I would regard any new signings as being mostly "additions" rather than "replacements". We were down to the bare bones at West Ham on Sunday, but thankfully our continued PL status was confirmed by then.
If that situation had arisen earlier in the season, the consequences could have been more damaging. We need a (slightly) bigger squad for next year.
5.) 27 May 2026 18:39:19
As I said previously, I will be surprised if we manage to offload up to 12.. I predict 8 max.
I do hope the recruitment team are focusing all their efforts on quality goalscoring players, strikers / winger, and in midfield.
And also a reliable, competent RWB and LWB for competition to Bogle and Gudmunsson.
6.) 27 May 2026 20:38:12
The good news is that moving players who are not contributing like:
Gelhardt
Ramazani
Meslier (end of contract)
Buononotte (end of loan)
Byram (end of contract)
This will free up about 150k a week in wages if Gelhardt package reports are to be believed.
Moving on even two more from Wober, James, Harrison, Schmidt, Piroe would take us above 200k, with some fees too.
Perri would only be sold if recouped. He did not have a great start, but he is not awful.
Darlow needs a new contract. Ampadu needs exploring a new contract. Aaronson, we need to decide if he gets a new contract or we sell him now. Tying those three down (I think they will lean to keeping Aaronson) will eat into the 200k a week a bit.
24 May 2026 08:53:21
So it’s the last day of the season, it’s been a terrific ride.
Life has life’d and it’s life’d hard.
This week we’ve been linked again with:
Gaby Sara
Jontathon David
Lois Openda
Demirovic
I mean put those lot in with DCL and Okafor, Farke’s gunna have some headache next season! ??
I’d happily take 2 out of the 4, I have the feeling we might cash in on Nmecha and Piroe definitely goes.
1.) 24 May 2026 11:57:01
Yes, the last day of a fine season with plenty to build on for the next one. I have to say that personally I would prefer Spurs go down, but I want us to go out, despite the injuries, to get a positive result today. Thank you to Farke, his staff, the players, the board, and everyone else involved in what we have achieved. And, to the Owners, you have a great opportunity to take this Club onto bigger and better in the coming seasons.
Don't waste it! Finally, to fellow posters and fans, enjoy the summer, and the WC if you are interested in it, sink a good few beers in the sun while we will watch with interest as the playing personal takes shape for next season to make an even more successful LUFC. Cheers!
2.) 24 May 2026 13:17:07
Good post, Feath. It's been a bit hit and miss, but they all dug in and did us proud. And very happy how it finished. We must move on and up. No settling. Really think with astute purchases we could be knocking on Euro next year. As I said before. Euro seems to be up for grabs between about 10 teams outside the obvious few.
3.) 24 May 2026 14:27:57
Gaby Sara is an interesting potential signing. He definitely has a certain X factor.
4.) 24 May 2026 18:08:25
Spuds never going down.. after the Villa debacle vs Spuds 2 weeks ago.
And 50 points and 12th was definitely up for grabs for Leeds United.
So very disappointing today, with a very woeful result and performance by Farke and his team today.
5.) 24 May 2026 18:10:21
It's also a reminder that Leeds need to recruit much more quality, especially up front and creatively, in the summer window.
Over to you, Paraag, Farke and recruitment dept.
23 May 2026 17:05:06.
15 mins to go and this has to be one of the worst games of football I’ve ever watched.
Neither Hull or Boro will make waves in the Prem next season.
1.) 23 May 2026 17:55:56
McBurnie is only 29. I thought he was in his mid 30s, as he seems to have been around forever.
2.) 23 May 2026 19:07:38
Delighted for Lewie Coyle and Joe, I honestly believe with five or six strong additions, Hull could comfortably beat the lowest ever points accumulated record in the EPL.
3.) 23 May 2026 19:09:13
Said same to a pal earlier.
Although, I would still say ours v Saints was the worst playoff game ever.
Hull straight back down.
You heard it here 1st. ??
4.) 23 May 2026 20:12:55
Very well done to Hull, pleased for them, and well done Super Joffy.
Hull, Ipswich and Coventry got it all to do next season, though one supposes.
5.) 23 May 2026 20:18:28
So, Boro make history in being the first club in the same season
to lose the Playoffs semi final
and lose the Playoffs final.
(plus they bottled a tad the top 2 auto plsces) .
Impressive. Well, sort of.
6.) 24 May 2026 00:10:38
Coventry and Hull will both have loadsamoney to spend on new players like Sunderland did last year, so one of them could be next season's surprise package. Hope it's not Coventry, as would like to see Fat Frank get some well deserved comeuppance.
7.) 24 May 2026 09:02:08
JR, will they have bucket loads under the new rules?
I've genuinely no idea, but isn't it calculated on turnover & revenue now?
Also, it's got to be spent wisely.
8.) 24 May 2026 12:00:46
Yes, a real downer for Boro.
11 Jun 2026 08:09:42
Seems a strange one when reports are we have a budget similar to last season, some saying as low as £70m, and all the talk, even from the club, is that we are focusing on the attack rather than defence.
I've seen we've enquired about Natan from Betis again, left-footed cb, 25yr old, around the same ball park price.
I wonder if the club know Pascal is going, and something is already agreed.
Otherwise, I can't see why we spend half our summer budget on 1 player in a position we apparently aren't prioritising.
07 Jun 2026 21:23:36
It's not April Fools Day.
05 Jun 2026 20:12:50
Doesn't matter if he's not number 1 at Spurs, at his age they'll defo be offering him more cash.
05 Jun 2026 14:11:35
Raphinha fee was paid ages ago.
Barcelona owe the funds to the backer who paid us.
Don't want Roony on loan unless it's a loan with obligation. Don't want to be developing players who won't be staying around.
30 May 2026 09:09:53
Can't see it. Papers and click baiters are saying we are in for Summerville as well.
Think we've learned over the last 3-4 windows that we do our business quietly,
Can't see the point in signing either as I personally don't think either is any better than when they left us.
15 Jun 2026 15:23:17
I agree, Baz, that yes, the recruitment was decent last summer, but they have a lot to prove when it comes to offloading players.
So many need to go & be upgraded on for next season.
Wober
Schmidt
Harrison
Piroe
To name but a few.
15 Jun 2026 11:21:46
Think Piroe said no to the Championship for a January move.
The board have to play out goings much, much harder than they have previously.
So many need moving on this summer to help generate funds for extra in comings.
Recruitment was decent last summer, needs to be as good or better this summer, but they must do way, way better at getting players out the door & for a good price, no give aways.
14 Jun 2026 08:40:53
Come on, guys, clearly not true.
Look at the Leeds badge, it's red. There's no way the 9'ers would let that fly. They have the fans on side, so why score an own goal by doing that?
It's some internet AI mock-up rubbish.
12 Jun 2026 11:19:15
Long overdue.
12 Jun 2026 08:03:09
Half that South African side looked 40+, but they were really poor.
Think, with FIFA expanding the number of teams and the likes of Cape Verde & Curacao being involved, there's going to be some high scoring games.
