Maybe you're right, Bright, but we do need another back up striker. Fleming would seem a reasonable option as he had a good season last year, seems not to be injury prone, and relatively cheap. Comments that the club can't find the type of player they want. They've 12 hours to rectify that.

West Ham are preparing a bid for Largie Ramazani. Looks like Leeds will be getting close to their 8m asking price after all. Would be a great signing for them, would cover LW and RW. Doubt Valencia will be able to match what West Ham can offer.

To be fair, we showed them the blueprint and they are building a side like we did. Bowen up top with Solomon Piroe and Ramazani behind is a very good attack at that level.

Not forgetting, in January, Leeds hierarchy tabled several formal offers to Wolves for JSL .

So, a striker is evidently a position Leeds United must wish to recruit.

Matt O'Riley was good, but the question is whether he's ever going to fully recover from the ankle injury he sustained in 2024 against Crawley. His loan to Marseille was cut short in early 2026, and he never featured much for Brighton in the second half of the season.
His latest pre season was disrupted by illness.
He's not in Brighton's plans, but if he can recover his form, then he'd be a useful addition as an AM.
Hope it works out if true, and it doesn't end up being another Buananotte saga.
