Exactly why buy the block when you really want the butcher, we building a nice little team now and I thinks we definitely be safe this year I know we will shut up shop a bit when we play top six teams, but that suits our style of play aswell so we can hit them on counterattack, I think if we can get piaxo, in it will make a hell of a difference to us and then you will see Leeds game change more then, and we still looking at a ten, striker, and another back to cover for bogle, what a early Christmas present.

Only my opinion, but when you are in a relegation battle which we are, not to strengthen, when you have the opportunity to do so, is a very risky option especially when your rivals are making signings and you have a small injury prone squad.
I hope the powers that be know what they are doing and not thinking they are smart dudes by sitting on their thumbs.

We spent £70m the last time we were in a relegation battle LU. that was the other type if risk you can take and it mattered not a jot but ruined PSR for us . We also changed managers twice for the full set.

Got back to our local after the game and downhearted was an understatement which deteriorated even further as Spam went 2 up. Then, when Chelsea won, the pints went down much more enjoyably.
I hope that is the first and last time we hear a Chelsea win cheered to the rafters by a load of Leeds fans myself included, except maybe on the 2nd of May when they host Forest! Needs must. ?.

Whilst the result was disappointing, not least because we didn’t turn up. I said elsewhere, we almost setup to not get thrashed and by doing so, got thrashed. Arsenal could have inflicted a far bigger score in my opinion. I wished we would have had a real go.
I hoped we get something from the game, and genuinely thought we would, but I would say we played better at the Emirates. Lots of poor individual performances and errors yesterday.
Those sat round me were pretty philosophical; no one really got upset about the game. Most grief was directed towards the ref.
Obviously Forest is even more important now (not that it wasn’t irrespective) .
I concur, I let out a little yelp when Chelsea got their third!

A gulf in class between us and them
Leeds seemed in awe of them from the off.

Ref awful, but no way to blame for the defeat.
