According to Phil Hay, Forshaw has a muscle injury. I really can't see him playing for the first team again.

LUFCfeath

1.) 24 Apr 2021 21:13:03
I believe that was announced at Bielsas last news conference. Hopefully its a quick one but with Fordham I doubt it, poor lad.

2.) 26 Apr 2021 02:00:33
Again.

Phil Hay reporting that JKA may have another hamstring injury. I was hoping he might hit the ground running when we restart. Hopefully if true it isn't a bad one.

LUFCfeath

1.) 15 Jun 2020 08:43:08
as an update to the above, hamstring injury confirmed and JKA to miss the rest of the season.

2.) 15 Jun 2020 17:52:37
Oh no! Wonder if that means we will dump our interest in him?

17 Jul 2019 19:13:29
According to Orta speaking in Australia, our transfer business is 90% done, that along with Phil Hay saying he expects White to step in for Jansson, it is looking like the powers that be think the squad is about sorted.

LUFCfeath

1.) 17 Jul 2019 22:26:17
tells you everything you need to know about the football nous of those 3 clowns if they reckon this squad is good/ strong enough we are bang average with no proven cover when the DEFINITE injuries come . We will never go up whilst radz is there . Sad fact.

17 Jun 2019 18:54:30
So Elphick has signed for Tarrn. Could he have done a job for us?

LUFCfeath

1.) 18 Jun 2019 22:21:41
Not imo. Well over rated.

05 Mar 2019 23:43:44
So Harvey is being considered for the Head Honcho job at the FA and if successful can continue his vendetta against LUFC. How does this man continue to get, or be in the running for these posts? The mind boggles.

LUFCfeath

1.) 06 Mar 2019 01:18:46
Definitely bad news BUT it was only a S*y story, last I heard it was Verity that was top of the list.

2.) 08 Mar 2019 15:18:09
The mans ineptitude is astounding and knows no bounds.

Great at trying to derail Leeds over an intern watching from public land a team train, but totally useless at anything else like attempting to deal with racism. Does nothing.

What has he done over Blackpool's demise? Sweet FA, just watched it happen.

The man is a total waste of skin, but will no doubt walk away with a lovely pension.

Losing 1 - 0, then Forshaw on for Rodrigo. Hope I am wrong, but wouldn't Geldhart or Greenwood be a better option?

LUFCfeath

1.) 16 Oct 2021 16:27:22
Not without service but Rodrigo just a complete waste of time and money. Brings absolutely nothing. Roberts the same. James 30 million pounds of
nothing. Orta just signs 99% absolute rubbish.

2.) 16 Oct 2021 16:29:20
Think Bielsa has lost it. Forshaw was ok in the Championship but not great. It says something that in these dire circumstances he brings on a player who hasn't seen first team football in years. Again i hope Bielsa has pulled off a master stroke but I'm not holding my breath.

3.) 16 oct 2021 16:29:37
this has to be the worst starting team to play in the premiere league this season!

4.) 16 Oct 2021 16:32:05
Agree Feath. give em a chance at least! Must be so frustrating for these young lads, seeing a performance as dire, and not getting an opportunity. They would run themselves into the ground too, to prove a point. 😞😞😞.

5.) 16 Oct 2021 16:33:27
My part of the hot tub is feeling lukewarm at the moment!

6.) 16 Oct 2021 16:33:58
You got to laugh, last match Raph was passing the ball with Neymar, today its Roberts 🤣.

7.) 16 Oct 2021 16:35:54
JG On at last! Would love him to come up with some magic!

An excellent win for the U23's at Liverpool. I hope the Manager sees it the same and gives youth an opportunity, especially Gildhart.

LUFCfeath

1.) 20 Sep 2021 17:01:07
Not just excellent as a result, and a performance. Also a wonderfully cathartic exercise for a few of those on the pitch. The obvious one is Struijk, who the fixtures gifted this opportunity to get back in the saddle almost immediately AND against a Liverpool team, to deal with any mental hangovers from the injury to Elliott, and stick one up to Klopp and anyone else in that club who felt it was right for him to be red-carded. It seemed the u23s really rallied round him, and put in some robust but fair challenges early doors.

Also, less obviously, there were young stars Gelhardt and McGurk. My initial thoughts were that it must have been galling for Liverpool that we’d taken these lads from Wigan, in Liverpool’s back yard, but also a slight worry that club might come calling, to take them back to Merseyside in due course, having seen what they’d missed. What I hadn’t realised before yesterday was that both of them had been released from Liverpool academy prior to going to Wigan. So, they’ll have felt extra motivation to perform well, and hopefully get one over their opponents yesterday - and they certainly did that. Some of you may have seen McGurk’s Instagram dig at Liverpool following the game - a picture of the two of them celebrating, with the comment ‘3 points, How you like us now! ’.

good post Clu.

18 Sep 2021 16:19:31
What were those morons doing at Stockley Park doing last night when Dan James was blatantly fouled last night? A penalty with out doubt and they didn't even look at it. And as for Jasper Carrot, least said the better.

LUFCfeath

1.) 18 Sep 2021 17:29:39
Absolutely LUFC
The EPL particularly in comparison to other European leagues renowned for having the shoddiest most inept match officials ( and VAR officials)

2.) 18 Sep 2021 19:00:54
Just listened to part of the Talksport commentary on the second half of Villa v Everton, to give me something sport related to listen to while prepping tonight’s tea. Couldn’t believe they were suggesting that some controversy over var today stood in contrast to the season so far. Really? - I guess for most folk it’s not actually controversial for var not to have intervened for our stonewall penalty, or when Barnes tried to cut Dallas on half - or fail to ensure the correct decision for Struijk v Liverpool etc etc. Is it an attitude of ‘it’s only Leeds, so doesn’t matter’, or even ‘good on you var - we hate Leeds’?

3.) 18 Sep 2021 19:17:38
your final sentence covers it Clu; which is why the club should be more vocal and vociferous about this : Bielsa until very recently refused to even ( indirectly) criticise officials, the EPL, the FA

its about time our players protested against decisions by refs like the James penalty that wasnt given too.

4.) 18 Sep 2021 21:43:44
What tea were you prepping Clu?

5.) 18 Sep 2021 22:33:04
Alf - If you really want to know - it was minced beef with veg and a baked potato.

6.) 19 Sep 2021 07:40:44
Nice!

Did we expect anything else from an organisation who are as much use as F All. F All explanation from a totally bent old boy's Club that has had it in for Leeds since the 1960's. A total bunch of F Assh*les. Rant over. UTW.

Good post M, we were a lot of key players missing, that I can accept, but you would have thought the ones playing would give their everything in a game against a team low on confidence, but that didn't seem to be the case. That is the worrying thing.

We are lucky to be level at half time, dreadful up to now. Roberts and Rodders really struggling. A point will do for me today.

Maybe as Supporters we think the situation regarding injuries is worse at Leeds than other Clubs, but we do seem to get our fair share, and many of them seem to be long term.
