Lots of reports flying around that the Club are considering replacing DF. Firstly, there are two games to go and hopefully a Championship trophy to win, so these stories we could do without. We don't want them having any effect on the teams preparation for Mondays game. Secondly, my own personal opinion is that Farke deserves a chance to manage LUFC in the PL.

Is that just sentimental though feath? 9ers are running a business and no room for sentiment.

2.) 24 Apr 2025 08:08:46
I think he has earned a chance to have a go Alf, but as you say, no sentiment in business. Not the most reliable source where it started though!

3.) 24 Apr 2025 12:50:24
Au contraire Daily Fail is the 9ers preferred mouthpiece.

Struick out for the next two games. Could have a small fracture in his foot, which if he has, he will be out for the rest of the season.

No worries, DF will play Meslier or BA at center Half.

2.) 09 Apr 2025 08:49:05
. Charlie Cresswell having a fab season for Toulouse.

3.) 09 Apr 2025 13:54:27
Yes he is and still only young what was it 4.5 million we let him go for can't get a ball boy for that.

4.) 09 Apr 2025 17:17:23
More importantly for Leeds fans is the form of his younger brother in the U21s! A big positive and kind of relevant given that he is actually our player.

Also the Kinnear to Everton story seems to be gaining traction. If he goes, I won't be crying into my Carling, it's weak enough as it is!

LUFCfeath

1.) 26 Feb 2025 19:58:10
I will happily drive him tbere.

20 Feb 2025 16:41:38
Rumours that Kinnear is wanted by Everton. Start the car!

That'll please Class.

If he announces day of his departure journey, M62 might be deluged with well wisher motorists.

2.) 22 Feb 2025 17:41:04
What are the chances he ends up at Rangers?

27 Jan 2025 15:41:15
Louie Barry on his way to Hull according to reports.

Not very ambitious of Villa. Spose it’s game time.

A brilliant day yesterday, and a sore head to prove it! A very big well done to all involved especially DF and the players. A great performance by the team, Piroe in particular. What a first half that was. Let's enjoy the moment and hopefully we can lift the trophy as well. Last player to score 4 was Ross Mc Cormack against Charlton.

Great day and times LUFCfeath for all Leeds fans

and I am pleased for you, Woody and all the Leeds fans who go to away matches in particular.

2.) 22 Apr 2025 12:23:28
Cheers Baz. Here's to an enjoyable summer watching the squad take shape for the Premier League.

19 Apr 2025 00:07:15
Well that was one difficult game to come through with the pressure on from the days earlier results. All credit to the team for grinding that one out against a tough opponent. Enjoy the weekend chaps and let's see what Monday brings.

LUFCfeath

1.) 19 Apr 2025 00:18:12
Very well said LUFCfeath ; the lads did well overall under a fair bit of pressure.

2.) 19 Apr 2025 07:36:25
Well done Farke for keeping his players focused and calm under pressure. A coach who some wanted sacked only a few weeks ago.

3.) 19 Apr 2025 07:39:39
Not over the line yet, think we got time for one more round of farke out?

Seems Jesus won’t be the only thing rising this Easter as leeds are also going up.

4.) 19 Apr 2025 08:00:22
I'm still in for Farke out if we get promoted, because he could command such a wage by being the guy to get champo teams promoted. His record would be undeniable.

Why risk it in the crappy premier league when he could be a freakin' millionaire working in the champo?

5.) 19 Apr 2025 09:27:12
He deserves his chance. Last night was a very professionally focused performance. That's down to the gaffer. Well done Daniel; almost there YET AGAIN! ??????.

6.) 19 Apr 2025 10:45:06
In my opinion it’s not very wise to get rid of Farke when he has the momentum with his players.
He will get the opportunity this time to add some quality to the squad if we get there which he didn’t have with Norwich.

I’d rather stick with Farke than bring a manager who’s had probably no experience in the Premiership before.
Before anyone mentions Jose, 100% no, everything would be about him and not the players or the football club.

No to Dyche as well.
I find it very sad that many Leeds fans can not see a future with Farke, it’s a very blinkered and one dimensional view in my opinion.

7.) 19 Apr 2025 12:13:54
OP I think it’s very blinkered to not even consider a new manager.
Not that it would happen but I guarantee if Klopp took over in the summer you would soon forget about DF and move on.
I’ve said it for months that if we get promoted we will need quite a few better players so why not a better coach.

Farkes a good man manager but tactically not great. We don’t want to do what Burnley did last season and Southampton this and that is play total football out from the back and end up getting mullered most weeks.
I like Farke but I’m not sure he’s up to the EPL but if he proves me wrong then I’d be absolutely delighted for him and Leeds.

8.) 19 Apr 2025 12:25:29
Farkey so stubborn all. season with Le Mes in goal costing us so many points. It almost cost us again.

Intervention from above 4 games ago, thankfully.

He is not in anyway proven in EPL either.

9.) 19 Apr 2025 13:44:41
Why on earth is anyone saying farke out next year? The post was a joke and some leeds fans took the bait!

Imagine a Belisa out post at this stage during the season we got promoted… they’d of been lynched and Belisa didn’t do as well as farke has

In farke we trust no more talk of him getting sacked or wanting him out… it makes you all look a bit silly in my honest opinion.

10.) 19 Apr 2025 17:16:54
Interesting pov Corky, and yes, if Klopp or that calibre came, the complaints might die down quickly. He's not tho, because he ain't knocking back Madrid straight away, and if he does, it's not because he prefers west Yorkshire!

11.) 19 Apr 2025 21:10:28
Thing is, we are going to have the funds for about net 4 decent players, so a new manager, e. g. Klopp example above is going to have zero interest in managing a team already considered by many here, relegation fodder.

Personally, having watched a lot of EPL football, I think this current team is capable of being above 4 or 5 teams without any changes. Burnley, and whoever is promoted will likely be two if them, we need to be above one more to survive; doing it for one season would release a lot more funds to strengthen.

I think this team would be in a scrap with Wolves, West Ham, Palace etc. I suspect Man U and Tottenham will not be as bad again, but I think our current team could beat them now.

Of course we have to get there first, but I am quite optimistic that this could be a much longer stay. I can’t see the 49’s and Red Bull passing up this opportunity, even if their hands are somewhat tied for the next 12 months.

{Ed025's Note - i love your optimism Ani but i think you might find it a bit harder than you think mate, of late the 3 that have come up have gone right down again and thats not a coincidence, the Championship is very tough but the Prem is even tougher and the standard a bit higher, dont get me wrong i hope you do well and break the trend but the teams you mention there are higher quality at the moment, if you invest that could change of course and i really wish you well..

12.) 19 Apr 2025 21:47:59
It would be a scrap that’s for sure, no doubt Ed. I think the reality is that everyone is focused on the last two seasons, including our own relegation. We should never have been relegated; no one could have foreseen our last 10 matches and how they panned out. West Ham, Brentford, Newcastle, Forest (even Villa) all managed it, most of whom got there via the play-offs, so not even the strongest championship sides to be promoted.

This season, the promoted sides tried to play Championship football in the EPL, ridiculously trying to play out from the back stubbornly even without the calibre of player; by the time they worked it out, it was already to late. I expected Ipswich to have adapted the best (plenty around here predicted them to survive)

Like I say, hopefully if we get there, we need to better that one more team over and above the two we up with. I think that’s a real possibility.

{Ed025's Note - i really hope so Ani. Leeds are a massive club mate and deserve to be playing amongst the elite, but it will take investment and a lot of hard work and even then there is no guarantee...but heres hoping my friend..

Harley Mills, 19 years old left footed defender or midfielder at Peterborough United. A potential gem could be picked up here. Watch his MOM performance against Birmingham last week in the Trophy Final, you will be impressed.

LUFCfeath

1.) 17 Apr 2025 20:41:14
Ohhh Feath, you've broken the truce!

I'll have a look at him later:)

2.) 18 Apr 2025 00:38:16
Let me know what you think Cleg.

3.) 18 Apr 2025 11:12:02
Great shout Feath, reminded me of a young Gareth Bale, definitely has talent, (that goal! ) and would certainly be worth taking a chance on him.

4.) 18 Apr 2025 13:36:10
You'd take him for the free kick alone!

Asked my mate who's a Bluenose and went to the game what he thought about him and he said the same as you Feath - a potential gem!

5.) 18 Apr 2025 13:39:35
Peterboro certainly have produced a lot of good players over the years.

6.) 18 Apr 2025 13:44:41
Cheers fellas. Pity one of us isn't on the ER scouting team, or know someone that is!

7.) 18 Apr 2025 16:05:19
Yes Baz, Peterborough a club to keep an eye on for young talent.

17 Apr 2025 12:32:52
Five years today we lost the legend that is Norman Hunter. A win tomorrow in his honour would be very fitting.

LUFCfeath

1.) 17 Apr 2025 13:02:00
100% LUFCfeath it would be very fitting indeed
A super LUFC Legend is our Norm . and our best defender ever.

2.) 17 Apr 2025 17:08:27
Good shout Lufcfeath. It sometimes gets lost just how good a footballer Norman was, with his physical side to his game. One of the true greats. He will never be forgotten. He was my mother’s favourite Leeds United player to boot!

{Ed025's Note - "bite yer legs" was a real hard man, but one hell of a player as well mate..

3.) 17 Apr 2025 17:30:12
Thanks Ed. Because of his reputation I think he was underrated as a player.

{Ed025's Note - not by me and people who watched him in that great side Feath, he did get a bad press at times mate because he took no prisoners but football was a different beast in those days, i was a massive fan of his..

4.) 17 Apr 2025 18:17:23
No one got past or the better of Norm. Even Franny Lee didn't in that punch up of all punch ups!

5.) 17 Apr 2025 19:11:28
I saw him and Tommy Smith doing a double act at a Sportsman's Dinner many years ago. A excellent night where they told many great stories.

6.) 17 Apr 2025 21:04:59
A lovely man Feath, a legend of our club and a World Cup winner:)

16 Apr 2025 17:47:47
At last, a permanent deal agreed with Frankfurt for Kristensen to go through when the transfer window opens. £7.7m. Good riddance.

LUFCfeath

1.) 16 Apr 2025 18:17:11
That's more than I thought we'd get for him!

2.) 16 Apr 2025 20:54:33
Think we should have pushed for £10 grand there but a sale is a sale!

3.) 16 Apr 2025 21:14:23
I think most are just glad to get rid. The cash is a bonus.
