Karma as Citeh and Chelski are hammered in the CL.

LUFCfeath

1.) 18 Mar 2026 09:47:53
See them boda cp games. Now that's relying on home form or not.

26 Feb 2026 19:31:39
Some pundits predicting Farke will go for 5, 4, 1, on Saturday. Personally I hope he plays 2 upfront.

LUFCfeath

1.) 27 Feb 2026 06:57:18
Not sure what to do v City tbh. They have a lot of threat, so it makes sense to be a bit more defensive. Dcl is not great on his own up front. I will leave it up to the main man to get it right or wrong.

When you look at their team, you think we have no chance. But we are at home. Under the lights. Who knows.

2.) 27 Feb 2026 13:16:06
Ausman, we always have a chance, mate. If we play well, we could win, but I think it will be a draw.

3.) 28 Feb 2026 11:16:07
We have to consider Sunderland, a winnable game, in just three days' time. Do we rest players for that match?

4.) 05 Mar 2026 11:00:08
The Flaccid 1 will stick with his negative, defence-minded setup.
He's 100% reverted back to pre-Man City, and it's visibly killing us.
There's no surprise that DCL's form has dropped off again.
If, by some miracle, we manage to survive, then he has to go in the summer.
He's mismanaging players, and it's costing us in points and in value.

5.) 08 Mar 2026 09:17:33
Our new system is 1 5 4 1.

6.) 10 Mar 2026 14:39:30
Quite right, Dave.

04 Feb 2026 19:56:11
Hearing Stach is out for 2 - 3 games. A big blow.

LUFCfeath

1.) 04 Feb 2026 22:56:39
10-14 days.

2.) 04 Feb 2026 23:06:04
Definitely. Probably brought him back from injury a bit too quickly. Hopefully he returns quickly and one of those weeks is FA cup so he may not have been playing that game anyway.

3.) 05 Feb 2026 22:39:58
Didn't he land funny during a tackle or jump for a ball early on in the Arsenal game? It looked sore.

15 Jan 2026 12:14:06
Buonanotte going back to Brighton from his loan at Chelsea, and looks like he is coming to Leeds for the rest of the season.

Perri apparently injured in training. Farke to update at Thursday's presser. Meslier could be back in the squad.

LUFCfeath

1.) 09 Sep 2025 18:05:12
Surely Darlow over Meslier?!

2.) 09 Sep 2025 23:12:16
I would think so.

3.) 10 Sep 2025 12:42:52
After Darlows absolute rubbish show against Wednesdays U16s, I rather see Cairns between the sticks!

4.) 10 Sep 2025 15:11:35
Get your gloves Berm.

5.) 10 Sep 2025 18:54:11
Meslier ALWAYS before Karl.

6.) 11 Sep 2025 00:19:23
Hilarious thread. Is it comedy night?

7.) 11 Sep 2025 16:44:25
Darlow it is then.

8.) 12 Sep 2025 08:01:54
Currently giving my head a wobble. We won't beat Fulham; I retract my previous statement!

9.) 25 Sep 2025 20:31:00
Did alright, didn't he? Motm and two class saves.

This week's football moaner of the week award is a joint award and goes to:

Michael Carrick and Bruno Fernández! ?.

LUFCfeath

After a late contribution regarding last night's game, another candidate has been added:

Rio Ferdinand!

06 Apr 2026 10:54:08
Well, that was a roller coaster ride! A great result in the end, especially after being on the end of some diabolical refereeing decisions. On the downside, a couple of concerning to Stach and Rodon. One thing for sure, this win should be a real confidence boost for the squad to get the required points for PL survival.

LUFCfeath

1.) 06 Apr 2026 12:39:45
Absolutely no disrespect here, Feath.

But here, now, is a classic example of strap lines + adages being used, but in actual reality we could very well be without 2 of our best 3 players for a few upcoming cup finals. I have very little confidence in Bournauw or Gruev, who now could be used in very high pressure games.

We are not going to beat City, so for me the negatives have outweighed the positives already. Survival is fundamental now for us, and if the lads are out, that battle has gotten a whole lot tougher.

2.) 06 Apr 2026 13:00:06
We haven't been drawn against Citeh, Chris.

3.) 06 Apr 2026 13:07:15
Calm down, Chrissy. Injuries happen in football, and we fortunately have just three currently in our squad

Rodon will likely be back very soon, and in the meantime Justin can play as a 3rd CB

Tanaka and Longstaff are more than good enough, and should be playing more.

I like Stach, but with respect, he is no world beater, just a good component within our squad. (If, say, we had a true matchwinner in Raphinha injured, I would get your angst.)

Hopefully Stach may just miss the 2 EPL games in April.

4.) 06 Apr 2026 13:08:44
..And what's with 'we are not beating Citeh'?

Why not? In a one-off cup game, anything can happen.

5.) 06 Apr 2026 13:54:05
Of course we ain't drawn City yet.

Baz, I will put my remaining mortgage on us not beating City if we make the final. There's a reason we are 15th and they're 2nd after all, furthermore, had Jimmy been available yesterday, I feel like we wouldn't even be having this conversation.

We were flat out throughout ET, let's not forget that.

I just rather us try secure league safety as soon as.
Now, that's possibly become a lot harder.

6.) 06 Apr 2026 13:55:49
Also, not much point in you talking about who we haven't got in our squad, Baz.
It's an undeniable fact right now. He's 1 of our better players that we have.

7.) 06 Apr 2026 14:41:40
That would be a very, very brave bet, Chris, for a one-off Cup game.

Citeh were strong faves in FA Cup finals vs Palace and Wigan, and lost them both.

It's not as if this season is the best Citeh side ever either.. far from it.

8.) 06 Apr 2026 15:41:09
We are aligned in our thinking, Baz. Football is about moments and achievements, and, more importantly, memories; who's going to forget our trip (s?) to Wembley. After nearly 60 years following Leeds, it has been far too infrequent. Let's be frank, yesterday was a game between two teams, where one of them has a high chance of being relegated, so why not have a go and try and win the Cup.

As for can we bear Citeh; absolutely we could. There's only one team this season (ok, maybe 2) who we really couldn't beat, and they're not in it. City have been very fortunate against us this season.

We're probably not going to win it, but for now we can dream. another key part of supporting your team.

9.) 06 Apr 2026 16:06:52
Ani ? spot on.

Football for me is All about memories and moments, and, with Leeds reaching an FA Cup semi, there is a (now decent) possibility Leeds can now win the FA Cup after soooooooo many embarrassingly ridiculous failed seasons for our club in it over the past 5 decades.

As for the EPL, well, for me it has become a very, very boring closed shop now only open to the very few to win.

10.) 06 Apr 2026 16:36:47
You can bet it will be forgotten very quickly if we go down, and we'll be there for 16 years, just the same as Marcello's time getting us up.

11.) 06 Apr 2026 16:51:25
If we win it.it will never be forgotten Whitey.as for the EPL we will never win it.we just exist in it

12.) 06 Apr 2026 17:39:55
Baz, I love your newfound positivity. That will upset one poster who always says you're negative. Keep up, mate. ???

13.) 06 Apr 2026 18:51:51
Hey White, the EPL is no great shakes imo; yes it's where everyone wants to be, not least for the money, but then you need the money to stay there. Notwithstanding that, it's a very boring (meh!) place to be. 90% of games are turgid affairs full of simulation, cheating and faux drama. Add in VAR, crappy refereeing, and you question the sanity and commercial risk taking everyone takes getting / staying there!

I hope we're not relegated, only because it usually means we lose our favourite players and manager, but I would take a cup win over survival if we could.

Obviously. both would be an excellent season / achievement.

14.) 06 Apr 2026 19:07:08
Whitey, indeed.. but I always maintain that I am generally a positive bloke on most things.

Ani, again, I am in 100% agreement. We totally agree on this.. refreshing. ?

15.) 06 Apr 2026 20:18:17
Baz, I think you are, mate. ? ani4ni, fully agree, mate, we are some way off, but getting there.

16.) 06 Apr 2026 22:08:53
Yes, Chris, the injuries are a blow. But they could have happened 10 mins in against Man U. Who knows? And, beating Man City, if we manage to beat Chelsea, would be a massive shock, but who would have thought Southampton would beat Arsenal? Never say never. I will stick with my prediction made on here a while ago, PL safety and a Wembley appearance.

17.) 07 Apr 2026 01:10:04
Before yesterday's game, a number of people were calling for Struijk to be dropped, but having just watched the full recording on LUTV, he was arguably our best defender, and also scored the decisive penalty in the shoot-out.

Perhaps his non-fans can cut him a bit of slack from now on.
Also, one hairy moment aside, Perri had a decent game, his kicking was better than hitherto, and he saved two pens, so what's not to like.

18.) 07 Apr 2026 06:32:05
Indeed, JR.
Pasc was MOTM and stuck his neck out for the final penalty, which takes cahones. He does have a mistake in him now and again, but is, in the main, very dependable. Wouldn't want to lose him in closed season, unless silly money!

19.) 07 Apr 2026 11:39:34
I concur, Bright & JR. He was my man of the match, and he goes often unnoticed during many games, which is always a good thing for a defender; if we're talking about a defender, it's because of the mistakes they make.

17 Mar 2026 18:32:08
So Chelsea escape a points deduction for committing some of the most serious breaches of the rules in PL history, yet for far less breaches, Everton and Forest get points deducted. What does that say about the integrity of the PL?

LUFCfeath

{Ed025's Note - it says it has none Feath..

1.) 17 Mar 2026 19:15:41
Right answer Ed!

2.) 18 Mar 2026 01:06:25
Being a Devil's advocate, Chelsea and the PL would say that the offences were committed when Chelsea were under the ownership of Abramovich, and that, when the current owners took over, they unearthed the illegal payments, and reported themselves to the PL. This, they would say, qualifies the current ownership for more lenient treatment.

They would also say that, even if the illegal payments had been included in Chelsea's accounts, they would still not have breached PSR rules.
I say if you've done the crime you should do the time.

3.) 18 Mar 2026 07:34:29
So, are you of the belief Bohly's Blues should be liable for Abramovich's blues wrongdoing?

Comment a bit unclear on your point, imo.

4.) 18 Mar 2026 09:42:26
It's still Chelsea Football Club no matter who owns them. The club players and agents benefited, not the owners.

5.) 18 Mar 2026 11:03:25
That's probably not how the law works. In this instance, I assume Aus, is it? Unless Bohly partook in wrongdoing, he cannot be legally responsible for Roman's s****.

Same if you sold me a motor, and I committed a crime with it, are you responsible?

I understand due diligence, but I would imagine any wrongdoing was buried under 100 tons of financial jargon.

6.) 18 Mar 2026 12:31:34
Anii probably right man to advise us about n this. ?

7.) 18 Mar 2026 17:09:55
In my view, Chris, they got the 'punishment' the wrong way round. Instead of a fine and no points deduction, it should've been a points deduction and no fine. Chelsea are in the position they're in now partly as a result of the 'crimes' committed during the Abramovich era, so a modest points deduction, say 6 points, would have been appropriate.

Fining the current owners for the actions of their predecessors might seem inappropriate, but it does fit with UK company law, where, if you take over another company, you inherit all their liabilities as well as their assets.

8.) 18 Mar 2026 17:51:53
They are crooks in disguise. FA are just as bad. It's doomed and needs replacing.

17 Mar 2026 12:40:36
So the KMI Panel have decided today that a mistake was made by VAR for not giving us a penalty against Sunderland when Struick was rugby tackled. The same panel have found that Arsenal should have had three penalties given against them that weren't, against Everton, Chelsea, and Brighton. It's not good enough and can have massive repercussions.

LUFCfeath

1.) 17 Mar 2026 18:07:51
Too true, Feath.

Let's just hope the decision/s against us this season don't come back to bite us!

2.) 17 Mar 2026 18:08:30
What about the handball in the same match?

3.) 17 Mar 2026 19:17:44
They won't admit that as well, Canada.

4.) 17 Mar 2026 19:49:58
VAR got something wrong!
Who would have thought!
These things, over a season, even themselves out. But if it happens in the last few games yer buggered.

5.) 17 Mar 2026 19:52:18
I hate blaming bad luck, but we've had a s**** load of it lately.

6.) 17 Mar 2026 22:12:53
Not correct at all, Ben.
People assume it does, but not so. Even in an un-biased system, it doesn't, as proven by the ridiculous number of times we are drawn away in cups. Every Cup game is a 50:50 (it's irrelevant what has happened previously) , but the facts show it doesn't even out for everyone.

In the EPL, the money is so big that not working out evenly can unfairly cost someone hundreds of millions.
I have no issue with refs getting things wrong sometimes. They have split seconds to make a call in a high-paced game, but VAR has no excuses!

7.) 18 Mar 2026 01:16:44
I was worse than just VAR getting it wrong. They consciously decided not to even look at it. It was not just incompetence, but actively deciding to disapply their own rules. If that was not a "clear and obvious error", my name is Donald Duck. ?

8.) 19 Mar 2026 10:28:21
As a pointless exercise, it's an infuriatingly shining example. Exactly how does it help us? Will we be compensated in some way? About as good as someone pointing out that a dog has peed up your trouser leg.
