Has Leeds got a sell on clause on Summerfield if he's sold by wet spam, 50 mill is the asking price with man poo looking.

1 Whiteman

1.) 17 Jun 2026 19:32:52
Since we sold him to a (then) PL club on the back of failing to win promotion, it's likely that Spam wouldn't have accepted adding in a sell-on clause.

2.) 17 Jun 2026 21:46:26
No sell on, and no international appearance clauses supposedly.

3.) 17 Jun 2026 22:06:47
Don't wanna sound like Baz, but an absolute poor transfer deal for Leeds, as usual.

4.) 17 Jun 2026 22:28:32
Sounding like Baz is a compliment, Corkey.
And, yep, 100% agreed.

5.) 19 Jun 2026 10:36:57
We needed the money. Corkey and Cree didn't want to stay.

6.) 19 Jun 2026 19:07:57
Don't let facts get in the way of a good narrative, Alf. ?

7.) 19 Jun 2026 20:24:20
Totally agree, Alf, but I still believe it wasn't a good deal for Leeds, unlike Gray n Rutter, which were excellent deals.

So looks like none of the Grays are good enough to play for Leeds Utd. What is all this about?

1 Whiteman

1.) 28 Jun 2026 10:03:21
Why? Because Harry is probably heading out on loan again?
Rightly so, he's not ready for the prem yet, probably another loan next year as well.

There's talk of Sheff Wed and the dog shaggers wanting him on loan next season.
He needs minutes playing against men, not lads.

2.) 28 Jun 2026 13:08:05
Agree, Dave. The right move for him and his development, but I'd rather see him in the champo at this stage.

3.) 28 Jun 2026 13:13:40
Don't think either Gray is that much, tbh. Able but not good or great or prem quality. I have my doubts. I think they're living on the name in a lot of fans' eyes. I've seen nothing.

4.) 29 Jun 2026 06:32:51
Ethan Nwaneri 15 years 181 days.
Max Dowman 15 years 235 days.
Jeremy Monga 15 years 271 days.
Wayne Rooney 16 years.
Our own James Milner 17 years.
That answers your question.

5.) 29 Jun 2026 07:46:01
Wasn't Milner 16?

6.) 29 Jun 2026 11:45:30
Corkey, you may be right, he was 10 when he first started and his professional first team debut against West Ham, probably didn't care about development in them days. ??‍♂️

7.) 29 Jun 2026 20:01:51
Archie Gray. 17yrs 147 days. Still young to make a pro debut.

8.) 29 Jun 2026 20:03:27
Harry Gray came on as sub vs Stoke, age 16.

26 Jun 2026 20:12:51
Well, would you believe it, Nottingham Forest are 116 million for Anderson to Man City deal and we get of 17 from dog poo Chelsea. ?‍♂️.

1 Whiteman

1.) 27 Jun 2026 00:41:14
I think Anderson is a little better than Gg, but not £99M better.

2.) 27 Jun 2026 08:34:05
JR, if his head has turned and he wants to go, hold out for a better price. If they want him they are going to have to pay, and put a big add on in there.

3.) 27 Jun 2026 18:10:34
The crucial word there is "if".

25 Jun 2026 16:57:04
If Chelsea want Gabriel then is 100 million or bog off.

1 Whiteman

1.) 25 Jun 2026 17:47:17
I would take fifty, or forty with add ons.

2.) 25 Jun 2026 18:03:18
The days of cheap sales are gone. Every player we buy costs us dearly, then we sell cheap. We only have about 80 million to spend, so the more we get, the more we can buy.

3.) 26 Jun 2026 01:10:32
If we were to sell him, we'd have to find and then buy a replacement. It's hard enough filling the known gaps in our squad without creating additional holes to fill. Tell them "not for sale at any price", so "get lost".

4.) 26 Jun 2026 08:15:19
Reporting 17 million. Lol. Double and some please.

5.) 26 Jun 2026 09:28:59
Insult. They can stick that where the sun doesn't shine.

6.) 26 Jun 2026 16:20:34
Then MC can spend £116M (£130M with add ons) on a single player - how the other half live!

7.) 26 Jun 2026 20:06:51
Can't see us being in that league. Something has to give. How can they pay that and still be within the rules, Super League on its way!

8.) 27 Jun 2026 08:47:37
He isn't worth anything like that sort of money.

19 Jun 2026 13:16:05
Can’t wait to this rubbish end. It can’t come sooooon enough. ????

1 Whiteman

1.) 20 Jun 2026 07:55:37
A lot has been poor. More crap than quality. That's for sure.

02 Jun 2026 20:19:31
Leeds keeper making more mistakes we definitely need a replacement.

1 Whiteman

1.) 02 Jun 2026 23:08:12
I haven't seen Wales match, Whitey..

But Darlow's been very good this season.

And he is the exception to the rule of utterly appalling Leeds United recruitment of goalkeepers in past 8 years or so.

Step forward the horror 5.

Perri
Meslier
Kiko
Klaessen
Wieldwald

Be careful what you wish for, Whitey.

2.) 03 Jun 2026 08:12:30
Yes, Darlow hit a purple patch this season after getting the number one spot.
He deffo should be starting next season, but he is not the long-term solution. Perri showed early promise, shot-stopping, and stature. But he never really commanded his box, and on crosses never really came to collect.
On the other side, my opinion on the Man U goal Perri was caught out on was that the ball into the box was a good one, and it didn't travel as far or as fast as the keeper thought.

It may have caught one or two goalies out.
Newcastle game, yes, not good enough.
On the other hand, Perri played with a dodgy back four, and Darlow played mostly with a solid back 5.

3.) 03 Jun 2026 10:57:00
And don't forget Marco Silvestri - some say he must have been a vampire because he couldn't deal with crosses.

4.) 03 Jun 2026 11:57:42
Despite his purple patch, Darlow is sometimes still a bit slack with his distribution, imo. Defo a great back up, but not a reliable #1. As others have said before tho, can we afford to get another first choice of quality when other areas need strengthening more? Do we stick or twist? I just dunno. Sales will decide that probably.

5.) 03 Jun 2026 12:52:32
Baz, I am not saying he's bad, but the blunders he continues to make in games show he just cannot keep concentration for 90 minutes. I'll give it to you, he has made some really fine saves, but we want consistency, which he doesn't seem to have.

6.) 03 Jun 2026 12:53:19
What Bright said.

7.) 03 Jun 2026 13:25:09
Whitey, pal, so what 'blunders' has Darlow made? Any that led to goals conceded? I can't think of one.

He has been consistently good all season, Whitey.

We have seen our recruitment teams' efforts re other gks .. they aren't good. ?

8.) 03 Jun 2026 13:28:35
Bright,

Ere, Darlow's 'purple patch' was the entirety of his games played all seez.

He was uber consistent, in the top 5 of our players of seez imo.

And yes, we defo need to spend our transfer budget on far more pressing areas, namely up front etc. We need more goalscoring players!

9.) 03 Jun 2026 14:36:18
Darlow was good. Took his chance. But my grandmother was better than Perri. Good enough? Probably not. Depends on said owners' ambitions. So do you give Darlow a new 3 year contract, which I'm pretty sure he will want. Or realise he will most likely be redundant in 6 months to a year?

10.) 03 Jun 2026 16:19:31
I would be tempted to concentrate on outfield players this next season and let Darlow have another season, and then see at the end of next season.
Apart from the Liverpool game, I can't remember a real goal giveaway by Darlow.

One or two misplaced passes, maybe.
For me, don't mess with the back line at all, only if someone goes. They have all been solid.
Add to full-back cover. Then get some more firepower into the team.

11.) 03 Jun 2026 16:36:48
Ben, I agree.

Absolutely, we should concentrate on outfield players recruitment and leave Darlow as our number 1 for next season.

By the way, it was Perri (not Darlow) who blundered for a goal giveaway in the Liverpool match.

12.) 03 Jun 2026 17:42:01
Baz, tried to tap a ball to Rodon and gave it away 2 feet away from goal. Mad, just a total lapse from the man.

13.) 03 Jun 2026 20:56:42
We should all play Aus Bingo .we tick off each player he doesn't like / rate. We would all shout "Ausgo" at the same time, since he doesn't rate anyone. The bonus line would be when mentions that he doesn't like The Manager, The Owners, The Strip, The Ground oh and Yorkshire. (And England!)

Ausman, the strangest (non) Leeds United supporter on the planet.

14.) 03 Jun 2026 23:12:44
Ausbingo; that was quite funny, Ani.

Isn't Aus, deep down, a Hammer, being a born and bred Essex/East London lady?

15.) 03 Jun 2026 23:19:27
* Lad (not lady) .

16.) 03 Jun 2026 23:26:21
Yes Baz, I was thinking of the Arsenal goal where he caught the ball and took it in his goal.
But apart from that he's been good.

17.) 04 Jun 2026 11:14:58
If we do start with Darlow, I would keep Perri, or if he is on his way, look for a decent lower league keeper. There are good keepers in the Championship and below.

18.) 04 Jun 2026 13:17:25
Good suggestion, LUFCfeath.

Baz, with regards to the Farke contract, I would think it suits both parties. At the time, he's looking to see if the owners play ball with his wishes. No rush on both sides; if they don't, he will leave at the end of the season.

Also, if, as you say, he doesn't do the job, they can cancel his contract. But both sides are too busy sorting out all the other things on both sides, mate.

I would think he doesn't care a dog's ? what people will call him. It's all about the money, more than most can dream about. Happy to be a has-been or nobody. He's not thinking about you.

Bad business with Summerfield, no sell-on. We just can't keep making this sort of mistake time after time. We need someone who knows what they are doing when signing players, dot the i's and cross the t's, make it watertight. 68 million. ??‍♂️
