Apparently Leeds AND Sunderland are looking at Boga. Knowing our luck we'll win this battle as he's proper pony!

CORKEY

1.) 11 Jul 2025 03:51:58
Just get Solomon in. He ain’t getting game time at spuds. Just buy him. Stop stuffing around.
Boga 21 games 1 goal 1 assist. That better not be the level we are considering.

2.) 11 Jul 2025 07:04:18
Agree with Aus. Boga's return last year was poor for both goals and assists and his scoring record over his career isn't good. Solomon had the chance of a long run of games last season and showed what he can do with both goals and assists. Even when he was subbed and didn't like it he came back with another performance. Kudus already signed by Spurs and rumours that they've triggered Gibbs White release clause and medical booked. Solomon won't get much if a look in.
There is talk that Trabz have bid £7m for Boga. Even at that price I'd rather pay double for Solomon.

3.) 11 Jul 2025 08:39:43
Get Manor!

4.) 11 Jul 2025 09:39:45
We need better than Solomon to stay up, he won't be playing Plymouth and Swansea next season

I know for a fact the club are aiming higher.

5.) 11 Jul 2025 13:09:11
6ft 4?

6.) 11 Jul 2025 14:43:12
It’s got to be telling you lads, as soon as we did nt go straight back in for him speaks for its self not strong enough, be exactly like aronsen, little push and he s over, want somebody bit bigger stronger on the ball got to be loads out there, but the thing that’s getting me going again is Leeds as every window that comes along linked with everyone they saying we’re linked to diouf, another senaglise gent and he s the one we should be buying young, can play in 4 positions absolutely killed saka when played England the other day but Leeds and the gent that is mr underwood says no because he s worth 21 million come on for them players play anywhere you ve got to spend.

7.) 15 Jul 2025 19:54:24
But lads that’s Solomon s league come on you must be barking if you really think he would do it in premiership seriously its different gravy you would be better off going with someone like boga who has more scope to improve unless Leeds gets this right we will be back in the wilderness again and as hard as it is now to get deals done it’s going to be twice as tough, but I still think 3 cracking deals have passed us by like if we’re scouting players but then other teams go for them we will simply pull out, that ain’t the way it works if you ve done your work and scouted them then buy them.

Hope the Paixao rumours are true and we manage to sign him. Great talent.

CORKEY

1.) 06 Jun 2025 06:30:43
He would fit perfectly with Solomon and James. Him as a 10 would cause serious headaches for their defence.

2.) 06 Jun 2025 08:42:24
Arsenal now looking likely to make an offer.

3.) 06 Jun 2025 13:21:25
That seems to be the way, Leeds get interested in a player and a bigger club swoop in and take him.
The big teams fear Leeds rising to their former glory, and for good reason.

4.) 06 Jun 2025 15:25:47
Agree mot. Very steep hill mate. Bit by bit. Survive. Improve and attract. Easy inninit.

5.) 06 Jun 2025 17:10:16
Could all just be smoke screens for our real targets? Look at Ao for instance?

05 Jun 2025 14:37:56
We may go back in for Matt O'Riley at Brighton?
Tried to get him from Celtic before he signed for the seagulls. Good player and would be a massive upgrade on Aaronson.

CORKEY

1.) 05 Jun 2025 16:10:43
have we been linked Corkey or are you suggesting it?

2.) 05 Jun 2025 17:33:00
I've read that we are still interested, and he is unhappy with his role there.

3.) 05 Jun 2025 17:58:19
Just suggesting.

Let’s hope Burnley win?

CORKEY

1.) 13 Dec 2025 17:28:33
I wouldn't mind a draw here.

2.) 13 Dec 2025 17:30:06
I'm erring towards a draw?

3.) 14 Dec 2025 00:21:58
Think it’s best they lost. We only need to keep 3 below. That’s the goal.

13 Dec 2025 12:34:19
Can anyone answer why Sunderland are doing so well?
Ok they spent 150 mill but also lost their best player in Bellingham.
Thry were way behind us last season.

CORKEY

1.) 13 Dec 2025 13:25:12
One word Cork, recruitment.
Yes they had more to spend and they got their targets over the line by paying more money which they had.
Granit Xhaka is also a major signing for them, heaps of experience in the Premiership, think he mainly runs the show as far as motivation is concerned.
Regis Le Bris is a very competent coach also.

2.) 13 Dec 2025 14:50:46
Afcon definitely going to knock them back, 6-7 players gone of which Sidiki is a big player for them

Also note of worth their keeper seems to be very good and has shown that regularly all season

Well done Mackems, good. to see.

3.) 13 Dec 2025 16:36:57
Rumour out today that Chelski and ####chester United are "accelerating efforts" to sign him. Maybe it's a good thing we missed out on signing him in the summer window. I always thought that Afcon might be critical for them, let's see.

4.) 13 Dec 2025 16:46:36
People like me who were at Wembley in 1973 will always struggle to want good things for Sunderland.

04 Dec 2025 20:24:44
Crazy stat. Leeds are the top first half scorers bar M City this season!

CORKEY

1.) 05 Dec 2025 00:55:50
Pity we're so poor in the second half, and have the 4th highest goals against. It's no good taking an early lead if we can't hold on to it.

04 Dec 2025 10:19:07
Ampadu loving the new system I think. Looks like a new player. He’s getting about the pitch influencing the game now instead of holding hands with Rodon!

I really thought Farke would play his usual 433 so it was a nice surprise at kickoff. Fair play to
Him as we all know he’s a possession stats person.
MOT.

CORKEY

03 Dec 2025 21:21:07
Only halftime but eventually Farke has finally realised that possession isn’t necessarily nine tenths of the law.

CORKEY

1.) 03 Dec 2025 22:34:42
No Plan A tonight ??
Tonight we had 15 heroes on the pitch, a cracking well deserved win
Well done you to each and everyone of them
Dust yourselves down and same again on Saturday please ??.

2.) 04 Dec 2025 07:07:27
Quivk question. Where was Maresca's plan B? Like Pep at the weekend, there wasnt one, as not many coaches these days switch tactically mid match, but look for better execution.

Last year of his contract but surely a deal could have been struck?
Say 8 mill with add ons if he played x amount of games and we stayed up.
I didn’t expect Marks n Spencer shopping but definitely not Asda!

Disappointing. Both them players would have helped us especially on set plays.

Class I enjoy your posts but your quote of “someone who wants to wear the shirt” unfortunately is total bollox in today’s game.
As Chris would probably say they are all mercenaries.
Sad but true.

I’d take Hamer, good player. Still underwhelming after the lads we’ve missed out on ?.

I actually thought Pool were good against us until they imploded near the end. I was amazed at their poor results and league position and then the last 20 minutes showed me why they are struggling.

Brentford I’d take a point all day but the greediness in me wants three.

I thought we ain’t got a pot to piss in? So the loan market is surely the answer?
Look no further than Chelsea. They have numerous players who don’t even make their bench who could help us greatly. That’s if they are up for a challenge which is another matter.

OP in case you missed my apology way down below I’d like to apologize for my comment on your good self.
