Apparently Leeds AND Sunderland are looking at Boga. Knowing our luck we'll win this battle as he's proper pony!
1.) 11 Jul 2025 03:51:58
Just get Solomon in. He ain’t getting game time at spuds. Just buy him. Stop stuffing around.
Boga 21 games 1 goal 1 assist. That better not be the level we are considering.
2.) 11 Jul 2025 07:04:18
Agree with Aus. Boga's return last year was poor for both goals and assists and his scoring record over his career isn't good. Solomon had the chance of a long run of games last season and showed what he can do with both goals and assists. Even when he was subbed and didn't like it he came back with another performance. Kudus already signed by Spurs and rumours that they've triggered Gibbs White release clause and medical booked. Solomon won't get much if a look in.
There is talk that Trabz have bid £7m for Boga. Even at that price I'd rather pay double for Solomon.
3.) 11 Jul 2025 08:39:43
Get Manor!
4.) 11 Jul 2025 09:39:45
We need better than Solomon to stay up, he won't be playing Plymouth and Swansea next season
I know for a fact the club are aiming higher.
5.) 11 Jul 2025 13:09:11
6ft 4?
6.) 11 Jul 2025 14:43:12
It’s got to be telling you lads, as soon as we did nt go straight back in for him speaks for its self not strong enough, be exactly like aronsen, little push and he s over, want somebody bit bigger stronger on the ball got to be loads out there, but the thing that’s getting me going again is Leeds as every window that comes along linked with everyone they saying we’re linked to diouf, another senaglise gent and he s the one we should be buying young, can play in 4 positions absolutely killed saka when played England the other day but Leeds and the gent that is mr underwood says no because he s worth 21 million come on for them players play anywhere you ve got to spend.
7.) 15 Jul 2025 19:54:24
But lads that’s Solomon s league come on you must be barking if you really think he would do it in premiership seriously its different gravy you would be better off going with someone like boga who has more scope to improve unless Leeds gets this right we will be back in the wilderness again and as hard as it is now to get deals done it’s going to be twice as tough, but I still think 3 cracking deals have passed us by like if we’re scouting players but then other teams go for them we will simply pull out, that ain’t the way it works if you ve done your work and scouted them then buy them.
05 Jun 2025 22:41:14
Hope the Paixao rumours are true and we manage to sign him. Great talent.
1.) 06 Jun 2025 06:30:43
He would fit perfectly with Solomon and James. Him as a 10 would cause serious headaches for their defence.
2.) 06 Jun 2025 08:42:24
Arsenal now looking likely to make an offer.
3.) 06 Jun 2025 13:21:25
That seems to be the way, Leeds get interested in a player and a bigger club swoop in and take him.
The big teams fear Leeds rising to their former glory, and for good reason.
4.) 06 Jun 2025 15:25:47
Agree mot. Very steep hill mate. Bit by bit. Survive. Improve and attract. Easy inninit.
5.) 06 Jun 2025 17:10:16
Could all just be smoke screens for our real targets? Look at Ao for instance?
05 Jun 2025 14:37:56
We may go back in for Matt O'Riley at Brighton?
Tried to get him from Celtic before he signed for the seagulls. Good player and would be a massive upgrade on Aaronson.
1.) 05 Jun 2025 16:10:43
have we been linked Corkey or are you suggesting it?
2.) 05 Jun 2025 17:33:00
I've read that we are still interested, and he is unhappy with his role there.
3.) 05 Jun 2025 17:58:19
Just suggesting.

I’d imagine even the most fanatical Spurs fans will want Arsenal to win their next game?
Especially after Leeds thump them at their glorious new stadium!
I don’t normally bet on Leeds but I’ve lumped on a biggish bet at 16/5.
1.) 06 May 2026 21:24:27
Yeah Spuds (and indeed Leeds) fans cheering on Gooners next Sunday.. a very rare occurrence indeed!
And, re your Leeds to beat Spuds bet.. We all hope so.. babychams ? on you, Corkey!
2.) 07 May 2026 06:53:43
If Arse win on Sunday, we're mathematically safe, but Spuds are not, so they'll have to try to win on Monday, which could play into our hands. It could come down to our final game of the season to decide which of them faces the drop.
3.) 07 May 2026 07:36:34
Don't want any Negative Nelly v Spuds. Safe or not. Give em hell.
02 May 2026 20:10:02
The win at Old Trafford was The Game, possibly the game that saved us.
Fair play to DF and the lads, as getting three wins out of four at this stage of the season is some achievement.
I was hoping for 50 points at the start of the season probably because I have high aspirations for our club and am an optimistic sod, believe it or not. Two wins and a draw and we’ve got there.
MOT.
1.) 02 May 2026 20:47:22
Yep 100. ? Corkey, those 3 points at OT were huge in us keeping ahead of those below us.
. In addition, I am a firm believer that the 4 game winning FA Cup run gave the Leeds United squad much added and needed confidence (especially the euphoria of winning the epic FA Cup QF match at West Ham) .
Without the Cup run, I don't think we beat Man U at Old Trafford in the EPL.
2.) 02 May 2026 20:54:02
Also, Leeds' late, late escape and equaliser at Bournemouth were also significant. That extra point was very helpful.
12000 stadium capacity Bournemouth, imo, will finish 6th this season. Does this mean they replace 60,000 capacity Spuds as a top 6 club? ? Stadium capacity seems less relevant to success these days in EPL.
Top 6 big club Spuds. The misnomer of all misnomers.
3.) 02 May 2026 20:56:15
I never thought of that, Baz, and that's a fair point. The way the team played in that first half at Old Trafford showed a team full of confidence. So, yes, I agree with your summary.
4.) 02 May 2026 21:25:26
Imagine how good Bournemouth would be if run as now, but with Spurs income!
5.) 03 May 2026 05:49:49
I guess you could point to several key matches, the 3-1 against Chelsea, 4-1 against Palace, two draws against Pool, all pivotal at the time, as was the win at OT. But, again, it is the sum of all that is important, and losing just 4 matches after the City match in December is impressive stuff.
6.) 03 May 2026 07:51:49
I think, if you want to look at a so called season defining game that saved us, then that would surely be a game that we actually lost, which Vid correctly points out.
Farke's change of formation mid-game against Man City was literally a game changer for us, and undoubtedly the reason we are not already relegated.
7.) 03 May 2026 08:48:58
I don't believe that a cup run helped us to beat Man U. We turned up to play. If that is the case, why didn't we beat Chelsea on the day we weren't at our game? If we can play like we did every game, we would be well up the table. And I know I am a bit biased on the cup run anyway, but my view.
Another player was sent off for hair pulling, and we had Rooney and Robinson saying it should be part of the game as he's pulling shirts really.
You can tell these two don't have hair and aren't playing anymore. It's like spitting, that should be banned too. There's absolutely no reason for it. If you wanna spit, go off, spit into a spit bag, and then wait for the referee to allow you to come back on. Let's see if spitting is really necessary, because, believe me, they won't do it. It's even in the Women's game now, that is disgusting.
8.) 03 May 2026 09:26:33
I agree Baz, the win at West Ham was massive for the team's confidence. If West Ham lose to Arsenal next Sunday, we will be safe before we play Tottenham.
9.) 03 May 2026 10:55:01
Absolutely Feath, great position to be in. Don't particularly like the Gooners, but will be watching that match and backing them. We can play our part on which one, Spuds or Spam, goes down.
10.) 03 May 2026 12:38:27
* Overawed (not overrated) .
11.) 03 May 2026 12:33:59
Whitey pal imo 2 of the big reasons why the Leeds United players did not play so well vs Chelsea in FA Cup are :
1) they were somewhat overrated by the magnitude of the occasion.80000 plus fans huge stadium much media attention etc
And the other big reason
2) the huge blow 7 days previous to Cup semi of ALL of Forest, West Ham and Spuds winning in the EPL thereby considerably cranking up the Relegation pressure on Leeds United
I certainly know from my perspective that after those EPL results I could not focus on at all the FA Cup Semi
a game I had initially been greatly looking forward to.and as a result I wasn't even that disappointed to lose in Cup semi.normally I would have been totally gutted!
AIMO of course
12.) 03 May 2026 14:35:43
Baz, mate, understand your point, but we really should have won that game, but as I said I wasn't in the FA Cup fan club. Will not complain. Maybe next season we will win it. ?
01 May 2026 22:37:41
Farke finally realized Stach a better and more dangerous AM than Aaronson? Only took 34 league games!
Great to see players getting shots off from outside the box and not getting deterred by XG, which is actually a thing from coaches these days.
Great 3 points, disappointing last half hour. Excellent points return from last four matches.
1.) 02 May 2026 00:00:00
Yes, Corky, 10 points from 12 in last 4 matches have been crucial.
2.) 02 May 2026 07:09:20
Not just the last 4. Our form from December (which is often the case for Farke teams) has been excellent too, tho, the delivery over the last 4, under intense pressure, has been impressive!
3.) 02 May 2026 09:18:49
Is that a Farke statistic, Bright?
4.) 02 May 2026 10:34:31
No, it's Farketastic, Aus. ?
5.) 02 May 2026 11:28:48
Hilarious vid. Get your coat.
29 Apr 2026 10:11:55
What’s been worrying me is if we lose to Spurs and Hammers.
We have to beat Burnley, as Brighton home could possibly be a defeat as they're going for Europe.
Three more points and Tottenham will need 3 wins to overtake us. ?
1.) 29 Apr 2026 11:25:34
Bingo.
2.) 29 Apr 2026 11:56:23
Where is all this positivity that the FA Cup was supposed to bring us since the loss? It's been nothing but it. Many on here were happy to play in the cup, at possible expense of going down. Never mind, I still say we will stay up.
3.) 29 Apr 2026 12:18:27
Whitey, pal, last weekend's results, with Forest, Spuds and West Ham all winning, were a big blow.
And I believe it did not help our focus and confidence with the FA Cup semi game.
Let's be clear, all three clubs have better players and squads, especially Forest and Spurs.
4.) 29 Apr 2026 12:28:18
My mate, the barman, has promised me Villa will beat Spurs and spam have got easily the hardest run in. Relax, lads. Or not.
5.) 29 Apr 2026 13:07:20
Move along, please, nothing to see here, well, except maybe the distant iceberg of second season syndrome, which, no doubt, will be a moot point for some. Have faith in the boys, it's gonna be fine, people. ?
6.) 29 Apr 2026 13:54:42
Nothing to see with FA semi, if I recall, Vid? The man in the know utwdtp.
7.) 29 Apr 2026 14:18:26
Davey, ..
What was your overall assessment of Leeds United's performance and result in FA Cup semi?
I would be interested to know your thoughts on it.
8.) 29 Apr 2026 16:40:18
We bottled it, Baz, quite simply. Chelsea did to us what we shoulda done to them. The midfield underperformed, and the defence looked reticent to look forward because of a lack of options, leading to playing ourselves into trouble, as with Struijk's mistake for the goal. It looked promising at the start of the second half. How did their keeper get to Stach's strike, wow. We looked everything we didn't against Man U or the home game against Chelsea, where we got in their faces from the off.
Ao was playing so deep, and he is normally really offensive. BA was off it and should have scored early on. Plus points. It wasn't working, and DF reacted for the second half. We created a couple of good chances, and their keeper was good. Also, again, the bloody dark arts were employed. How are teams able to get away with this tactic? We have been victims more than once. On the whole, a "meh" performance, where too many didn't turn up.
9.) 29 Apr 2026 16:43:36
Ps Aus, I aint a man in the know or pretend to be, just a bonkers Leeds lover giving my opinion, which is no better or worse than you, but lashing out when things dont go as hoped is a bit playground really.
10.) 29 Apr 2026 17:15:32
Agree, Baz and Aus, now we could have a couple of players out still, we do have BA playing, sure many will moan about again and again. Onwards and upwards. 2-1 to Leeds.
11.) 30 Apr 2026 11:14:52
My view was, if we had won, great, but I'd be happier staying in the Prem for the financial stability of the club.
The worry was, we never really showed up in the game.
26 Apr 2026 17:58:35
It’s funny but despite Chelsea just about deserving the win, we had the better chances.
I don’t know the stats but I’d say our ExG was far higher than theirs?
Up to DF now to lift the players for the last 4 games, especially after the results yesterday.
1.) 26 Apr 2026 18:23:48
Think that's a fair assessment, Corkey. Chelsea are a very average side, as frustrating as our Devon away performance level. We easily win that game. On the plus side, no injuries, and the Burnley game is far and away the highest priority now.
2.) 26 Apr 2026 18:52:04
Chelski did just about deserve to win, not because they were that good, but because Leeds collectively had a bad day at the races. After a couple of good performances, Tanaka had a mare today, and BA and DCL were not much better. The best attacker was Okafor, but he went off at half time. We woke up a bit in the 2nd half, but, throughout, it was the old story of creating chances but not capitalising on them.
Chelsea were there for the taking, but we weren't able to do it. The cup run was good whilst it lasted, but now it's done, it's back to the league, starting with 3 points on Friday against Burnley (hopefully) .
3.) 26 Apr 2026 18:54:08
BTW, did anyone else think Cucurella should've got a card for his "hair pull" simulation?
4.) 26 Apr 2026 19:24:49
Pretty much spot on, JR. We never got to grips in midfield, and Ao was dropping very deep. No outlets for the defence, so we ended up playing ourselves into trouble. BA was pretty ineffective after his good early run, and DCL should have done better with his header. We looked tired and off the pace. Hopefully a win Friday and put this season to bed.
5.) 26 Apr 2026 19:50:20
I'm feeling a big, big "bounce" performance on Friday, and an overdue gubbing for Burnley! I think we will see a great reaction from the players!
6.) 26 Apr 2026 20:16:27
Not only C***arella, but I think it was Joao Pedro who got Struijk booked when TV showed zero contact whatsoever.
Should be a retrospective one coming for successful deception of a referee, although I wouldn't call him that haha.
06 May 2026 20:50:50
Bang on, mate. While I'm not an anatomist, I do believe that the Japanese nation look after themselves, unlike us Europeans!
02 May 2026 20:11:13
He's been about a while, so he's no spring chicken. Good player though.
13 Apr 2026 19:43:53
I heard great things about him last season and apparently he's been great this season.
20 million should do it by all accounts?
06 Apr 2026 08:51:58
What Class said. ?
05 Apr 2026 16:18:19
Think he's suspended?
07 May 2026 15:29:30
Imagine the melt down on here, myself probably included, if Hammers beat Arsenal and we lose to Spurs?!
05 May 2026 21:01:43
Senesi is a free transfer.
04 May 2026 20:51:26
Last thirty games, Chelsea have won 18 and Tottenham 5. Nuff said.
04 May 2026 18:12:29
Baz, Spurs have a terrible record against Chelsea with one win in 88 games, or thereabouts.
04 May 2026 15:12:59
I see your point, JR, but they still made seven changes.
