Leeds put in lowball offer for JSL
Wolves decline
Leeds put in a sensible offer but lower than what wolves wanted.
Wolves wait.
Wolves leak information to the press about other clubs interest.
Wolves leak information about CP interest.
CP says "maybe. Depends on other players"
Wolves fabricate information about a £50 million offer form Palace.
Palace say lol, we've signed our original target.
Now.
Wolves can renegotiate with Leeds or do nothing.
That's where we're at.
All the media furor was/ is Wolves trying to pump up the price.
{Ed025's Note - spot on for me Mo, Wolves are panicking imo mate..
1.) 29 Jan 2026 20:54:53
They need as much money as possible but they may have been too greedy. For them to have a £50 million deal (let's pretend) and make a meal out of it, only to come back to Leeds is a desperate, desperate move.
I hope Leeds take them to the cleaners to teach them a lesson and to show that we aren't to be messed about.
2.) 29 Jan 2026 21:18:54
Never my 1 million less per day, it's 5 mill a day now lol.
3.) 29 Jan 2026 21:55:02
That sounds very plausible MoT . depends now how desperate are Wolves are to sell all indications are that they need to sell now …Leeds may yet get a deal that the we’re hoping for.
4.) 29 Jan 2026 22:46:00
What we should do now is withdraw our original offer and make a new one with two alternatives.
1 Buy now for say £20M
Or
2 A loan with an obligation to buy in July for say £25M
They can then choose either a reduced sum now, or an increased sum in 6 months time which would also suit Leeds PSR calculations.
5.) 30 Jan 2026 10:51:31
Max Price for JSL is £30M at the age of 25 (only 3 years younger than DCL! ) . He is a viable option and would fit Farkes request to operate with a smaller group and cover for CF (He cannot play anywhere else) and would have re-sale value if it didn't work out.
Wolves are down, so we hold the upper hand here. don't disrupt the team spirit if he's not keen to come. MOT.
6.) 30 Jan 2026 16:34:42
I've s sneaky suspicion that Palace never did suggest they might pay £45-50M, and that rumour was just Wolves trying to drive the price up, and Palace don't want to play that game.
05 Dec 2025 02:26:54
Rumours knocking about that Ten Haag will be our next manager.
1.) 05 Dec 2025 09:20:52
I did wonder when his name would crop up!
2.) 05 Dec 2025 14:13:35
No no no. Rather keep Farke and that says a huge lot. 10cents why. Let’s try for a successful manager.
19 Nov 2025 20:47:13
Bielsa having an impromptu interview tomorrow. Rumours are he is going to resign from Uruguay after losing to US.
The players hate him and the media has turned on him.
Wouldn't it be amazing if he came home.
1.) 19 Nov 2025 23:06:58
How come players hate him? Training too hard. They qualified for the cup. One defeat in a friendly means jack. Be interesting to see what happens. Either way. As much as I love the guy I don’t think his methods are sustainable in the prem. Thought managing a country ideal for him.
10 Nov 2025 10:34:47
YEP and Graham Smith saying 49ers have no plans to sack Farke.
Some insiders claim 49ers are supporting and sticking with Farke.
1.) 10 Nov 2025 15:14:06
Stick with DF save money get relegated makes perfect sense.
2.) 10 Nov 2025 17:04:29
Don't agree OB, 9'ers hardly envisage a Champo quality investment
For all zee bullshe-ite Parrag spouts, a Champo grade outfit doesn't suit that.
3.) 10 Nov 2025 17:46:53
I've seen some idiots say it's best to get relegated with Farke so he can bring us straight back up again ?
Men with the minds of children.
4.) 11 Nov 2025 00:14:01
It was a joke.
5.) 11 Nov 2025 09:26:54
Bri, I know you were joking, but I have seen suggestions that were serious.
6.) 11 Nov 2025 11:08:49
i can genuinely see that being in the monds of the 49ers joke or not. i don't think they are too fazed by relegation should it happen but would be looking to bounce back and we have a proven promotion specialist already.
26 Aug 2025 17:58:38
That's a very unbelievable rumour that should probably be ignored that Piroe will be leaving for a few north of £30 million.
Source: some twitter nobody.
1.) 26 Aug 2025 19:01:39
Hope so.
2.) 27 Aug 2025 10:07:38
No chance, think the club would snap their hand off for £10-15m at the minute.

I'm less concerned with the lack of signings in the window and more concerned that we will revert to type and become defensive, tippy tappy cowardball.
We know what works and we should keep doing it.
February is going to test our mettle and will be a tough, tough month to be a Leeds fan.
1.) 02 Feb 2026 22:52:49
That's all we need Mo, not!
2.) 02 Feb 2026 23:37:43
I will be happy with 4 pts from the next 4 games.
3.) 03 Feb 2026 00:05:11
I'll be bloody chuffed with 4 points Alf.
4.) 03 Feb 2026 13:35:13
That’s the way Melanieot. Put your champers away and grow some. Even small ones.
02 Feb 2026 13:12:42
Farke has final say on who to sign and who not to sign.
Remember those people who said Farke deserves a chance in the PL because he wasn't backed at Norwich? This is Farke being backed.
Farke has decided that it isn't worth bringing in the wrong players who will disrupt the fit. It worked last season.
Have faith, everything will be fine.
Unless Farke reverts back to the cowardball that we saw at Everton, Arsenal and the start of the season.
1.) 02 Feb 2026 14:08:25
He will mot. that's my big issue. Spam and forest getting ready for the battle. Palace freefall and nothing they can do. Farke just thinks he and Leeds are better. Not.
2.) 02 Feb 2026 14:12:55
Did Pep revert to coward ball yesterday MOT? Did he sit back and went into his defensive shell? How about Nuno, thinking it was all done at 0-2?
These cowardly managers that Farke must model his game on - sigh.
3.) 02 Feb 2026 15:34:50
Ani,
What was the score when arsenal faced the teams around us in the table? 5-0 and 4-0?
Silly comparisons are silly.
4.) 02 Feb 2026 15:53:53
MOT,
Like you say, silly comparisons.
Each and every game is different; injuries, bans etc. the ref, so like you say, comparisons are silly, so stop making them, e. g. comparing the scores of teams around v Arsenal and the like. Teams below us have all, thus far, done worse than us v all their opposition.
5.) 02 Feb 2026 16:37:36
He’s already reverted back to coward ball.
6.) 02 Feb 2026 16:50:01
West Ham also reverting to 'cowardball' in second half against Chelsea.
Or is it only Farke and Leeds Utd can fade out in the second half?
Maybe sometimes the opposition can play better than us?
31 Jan 2026 21:09:31
Arsenal are much better than us.
We should have played better.
Concerns aren't that we lost, it's how we lost. Coming off of the back of a cowardly second half at Everton, the worry is that Farke is returning to his pre man city state.
Still lots of football and we will stay up.
1.) 01 Feb 2026 00:33:50
He never got out of it mot. He got lucky. Farke out. He looked an absolute idiot on touch line today. Worst performance I can remember.
27 Jan 2026 11:09:22
Lots to say about last night and it can be summed up as:
Two points dropped, one point gained.
{Ed025's Note - on balance Mo i think it was a fair result...just a shout out to the Leeds supporters who travelled to Merseyside last night in what were horrendous conditions...they were fantastic, i never attended the game myself but friends of mine who did said the sang their hearts out and were a credit to your club..
1.) 27 Jan 2026 12:17:32
I appreciate the sentiment, ed I just disagree that it was a fair result.
I text my old man at half time saying Moyes is a great manager and will come out swinging, we need to respond. Low and behold, Moyes did.
Everton are a great team and Moyes is a quality manager. He won that game because Farke threw it away.
He fell back into his old ways of late subs (85 minutes ) that cost us. Everton were there for the taking as their defence was shaky.
Even as we sat back with a depleted defence, Everton rarely mustered a shot.
Farke lost that game and Moyes dared to try and snatch a win. A draw flatters Everton's back line and makes a mockery of what could have been for Leeds.
If Everton sack Moyes, I would want him to be out next manager.
Like I say, two points dropped, one point gained.
{Ed025's Note - im not complimenting Moyes for setting up a side to play one decent half in a game Mo, far too pragmatic for me mate and sets up the side to not lose rather than win, too much hoof ball and there are a lot of holes in our side that have not been addressed, you have an excuse because its your first premiership for a while and for me you are exceeding expectations at the moment, we are a long standing stalwart who are stagnant but like you are hoping for better in the future, i think moyes will not be part of that future though..
2.) 27 Jan 2026 12:25:25
I watch every game Ed and at most grounds you hear a lot more of the Leeds fans singing away that the home fans.
I have to say I always enjoyed an away day back in the 90s when I was able to go.
{Ed025's Note - i used to love going the game Canada, unfortunately im too old and decrepit these days to brave the weather at Hill Dickinson mate, i go to the odd game when the weather is nice and the stadium is superb i must say..
3.) 27 Jan 2026 14:59:51
Yes Ed, the stadium is very good, but, a 15 minute walk for away fans to and from the visiting coaches is poor, and you have to walk past the home coaches to get to them after the game. An Everton steward told me they know they have a problem with this situation so I hope they get it resolved sooner than later.
{Ed025's Note - they are apparently looking into that Feath, as with lots of new properties there are teething problems and transport and parking need to be sorted but i have faith they will mate..
4.) 27 Jan 2026 16:05:55
Thanks Ed, as I said the sooner the better. You wouldn't want a situation say the last game of the season with relegation riding on the game.
5.) 27 Jan 2026 17:52:19
Agreed could have gone to either side we had a great first they had the second both hit the post move on to the next keep ahead of the drop pack is all we can do.
6.) 27 Jan 2026 18:15:36
Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but many fans around me were calling for changes before Everton equalised. But, it's an away point, and I would have taken it before the game.
7.) 28 Jan 2026 07:21:50
You are right about Moyes Ed but I do believe he is that type of coach who will not entertain and excite its fans, but he is very capable of bringing a certain amount of success like he did at West Ham.
Everton fans may grow tired of how he sets up his football team but he will keep them in the top half of the Premiership and possibly even a trophy.
I personally wouldn’t want him at Leeds but you can’t ignore what he is capable of, it’s not slick football but it is certainly effective.
Something some of my fellow Leeds fans on here refuse to give him that credit, instead they only focus on how inept our coach appears to them to be.
{Ed025's Note - we all have this idea that a different coach will solve all our issues OP, i have a moan about Moyes because i think hes the safe option and will keep you in the league but wont win you anything, he is so negative at times and we have this terrible habit of waiting until we are a goal down before we decide to put our foot on the accelerator, he also has his favourites who get a game no matter how bad they perform...but i suppose we are not alone on that one mate, i actually think Farke is doing a fine job for Leeds after a bit of a shaky start this season, you play some good stuff and the players are giving their all it seems to me..
24 Jan 2026 14:07:22
Some say west ham will go on a run of form.
Some say Sunderland will drop to the position they should be in.
Which one is it?
1.) 24 Jan 2026 14:55:07
Wish I knew Mo.
If I say one thing, you can guarantee it will go the other way!
2.) 24 Jan 2026 15:04:13
Well wet spam two wins out of two and the got a couple of players in still we are five clear so we need a win to keep pace.
3.) 24 Jan 2026 15:51:59
Could be both.
That being said Sunderland are as good as safe tbh so won't drop down to where most people expected.
4.) 24 Jan 2026 16:49:19
Both wet spam and Burnley will pick up wins at some point and so will we 16 to go so lots to plays for.
5.) 24 Jan 2026 23:13:18
Still say to finish 17th by one goal difference will be an amazing achievement by Daniel Farke and his players.
A real tough game against David Moyes Everton, there can only be one winner though that being Leeds United.
Our players will never give up, even if we go down 3-0 at hat time, we will still win 3-4 at full time.
6.) 25 Jan 2026 00:33:04
On that form Sunderland are very lucky they have 33 points already. Both teams were dire. But points are all that matter and we need more.
03 Feb 2026 13:40:08
JR16 bringing the receipts. Saley is a mixer, not ITK and probably a troll account or a fan of another club here for the wind up.
03 Feb 2026 11:37:18
It's false info sent to one of the twitter idiots to wind them up. Marshment or Tiffany or wainment, one of them.
They fell for it and circulated it.
Smyth shot it down.
02 Feb 2026 13:36:16
One up top does not work!
31 Jan 2026 14:05:17
The ITK on Waccoe only know what they're told in the moment. What they're told could be wrong, or it could be right and then change.
Only one or two have a half decent hit rate and even then it's kind of pointless.
It's all well and good saying we will sign x player, two months before he plays for us.
I want to see them in a Leeds shirt, anything else is content purely for clicks and revenue.
Ignore the journo**** and starve their revenue until they get a proper job, or act like a proper journalist.
31 Jan 2026 03:12:50
We will sign JSL+another.
03 Feb 2026 17:34:36
I thought he looked quick and dangerous.
He will bag a few goals for us, no doubt.
By the end of the season we will be sad to see him go.
03 Feb 2026 07:55:06
Aus, DCL scored more when he has Nmecha next to him. They improve one another.
And saying Nmecha hasn't proven himself is mad when he sits mid table for goals scored this season even with his relatively low game time.
Put down the Fosters, Bruce. It's impairing your vision.
03 Feb 2026 00:05:11
I'll be bloody chuffed with 4 points Alf.
02 Feb 2026 15:34:50
Ani,
What was the score when arsenal faced the teams around us in the table? 5-0 and 4-0?
Silly comparisons are silly.
31 Jan 2026 21:05:11
I hope Farke keeps us up. Either way, time for him to go at the end of the season. He is trying his hardest to return to 3-4-3 and just like before, it isn't working.
