The interest isn't being denied, it's just being played down as not happening at the moment. Zetterer is still their number 2. If he became their number 3, I think things would then change.
It seems The Athletic have gone a bit early with their story, probably badly worded as indicating it's almost a done deal, which has irked Zetterer's agent. There is no deal until Frankfurt sign someone.

The penalty was ordered to be retaken because a Croatia defender was guilty of encroachment and became involved in the play via the rebound, not because the keeper was off his line.
