Club are asking for 15-20m to consider selling him. Even at 20m, I would expect there to be add ons; still young, still a lot of potential there to go on to bugger and better things, based on his break through form, not when he was told to slow things down.

Not sure about letting him go. Was very good for a while. Has got heaps of potential and as you say bright still young. Would have to be 20 plus. Could get decent enough replacement for 20.

Gruev is solid in midfield, plays smart, fast football, is accurate with passes, even those at angles Jimmy White would wince at, and is often a solid wall stopping their attackers.

Well it seems to me that the 49ers are another Daniel Levy for negotiating with, it looks like they won’t sell unless they get what they want for a player, which is great for us. Wet Sham have just come back in with another bid of £24M for Cry and they have been point blanked turned down, with Cross reporting that they have been told not to come back unless they double it! Good on them, this is what we have been lacking for years, an owner with a huge set of balls, we don’t need to sell and we don’t want to sell, it’s as simple as that. If you want to buy, top price only please!
I’m loving this attitude and for years we have been a cheap selling club, well not now and it’s about time. Just imagine what we could of got for Raphinia or KP, even those that went out on loan because of stupid contractual conditions wouldn’t have happened, they would have been sold for top dollar.
We are going about our business very quietly and with authority, which imo bares well for the coming season! ??.

I was there for the Liverpool match which was a good day but then I was also there for Villa in 96 and the play off finals v Watford (in Cardiff) and Doncaster. So, I was disappointed not to get tickets this time - but maybe it’s for the best!
Leeds can beat Southampton - we’ve just got to take one of the early chances. We had plenty in the last home game against them in the first 20 minutes.

Got mixed feelings. He's done a fantasic job from where we were 8 years ago when he took charge. I believe he needs more respect for what he's achieved but can see his negative style turns fans against him.
