Are the reports about Archie Gray going out on loan just paper talk? Or if they are true - should we try get him back for the second half of the season? Could he play a role further forward in midfield yet?

Yes, a fee has been agreed, but it doesn’t mean he will go there. I’d put money on there being a relegation clause, a sell on fee, and a buy back option too that are all probably the sticking points of the deal, which there are reported to be, that will allow a bigger club like Dortmund to nip in.

If he plans on selling imminently then its not such a big deal - maybe needed the cash quicker than negotiations with 49ers could progress - and then when he sold he'd have the cash as collateral or could pay off the loan.
If he plans to invest in both concurrently then I'm super annoyed because A. he doesn't have the cash evidently to be competitive for Leeds let alone being involved in two clubs. B. It shows a callous disregard for fans and the community feel of the club.

Sold T Adams for £20m and got Tanaka for £3.4m. Adams didn't score for us and hasn't (yet) for Bournemouth. Turned out alright for us!

Sure we sold Adams and a couple of seasons ago and bought Amps for about £7m if I'm not mistaken. Could be wrong the old grey matter is slowly going.

We need a number 9 for def. - but I would also keep Piroe. He’s an instinctive 6 yard finisher. See how he gets on.
We also need a central playmaker. Aaronsen is skilful and mobile but he’s not strong enough. He also lacks composure in front of goal.

I was there last night. Monteiro is a good player. The whole back line played well - they had to because Sutton put them under the cosh for a lot of the match - especially second half. Our goalie looks assured too.
But Monteiro has been at ER a while now - comparatively speaking - and still hasn’t progressed to 1st team fringe like some of the other youngsters. So you do have to wonder.
