Does anyone know if we are allowed to pick any of the returning loanees for the final three games?
Thinking of Cresswell, Shacks and Hjelde as they won't be involved in the play-offs.
{Ed002's Note - No, they are not available.}

Take that point all day long after going down to ten men! It's a point won, not two dropped.
Next week is the crunch weekend - it's a must win against Brentford on Saturday night because then the pressure on Spurs and Forest when they meet the day after is huge - neither can afford to lose (and a draw, providing we get three points in the bag, doesn't do either of them any favours) .
Come on Leeds - we don't deserve to go down, fight all the way!
1.) 15 Mar 2026 18:52:28
Love your post, Cleggy. If we do the Bees, I believe we will be ok, but it's a big if.
2.) 15 Mar 2026 19:49:20
Certainly is, Corkey - fingers crossed we'll be okay. :)
11 Mar 2026 08:09:21.
I'm trying to think of an occasion in the past 60 odd years where I have seen a worse piece of man management than that of Igor Tudor and his poor keeper (Kinsky) last night!
Criticise your number one keeper, drop him, throw in a young kid against Athletico Madrid away from home, hook the poor kid after 17 minutes and then replace him with the guy you've just dropped?
And worse still, didn't even say anything to him as he came off the pitch!
God knows we've had a few poor managers in charge of us over the years but this guy is in a league of his own!
1.) 11 Mar 2026 08:33:38
Seen a few interviews with Tudor after matches. What a miserable so and so. He's obviously got spuds not playing as a team. Keep him, I say.
2.) 11 Mar 2026 09:10:56
It really is like watching a slow motion car crash. I thought, initially, Spuds would have too much to go down, but my word they are falling apart more each week!
3.) 11 Mar 2026 12:12:41
It was a hilarious decision re goalie. But, my mate said, he went online, and before the game Spud fans were so pleased he was picked. They are so bad, atm, that it could be our get out of jail free card. Let's hope so. Spuds in the Championship. My oh my.
4.) 11 Mar 2026 19:52:18
It was awful, Cleggy, but reminded me of Spanish (where has he gone, big miss) .
Back when our own Ted Lasso, Jesse, was berating his own coaching staff for a lack of confidence in the team at ER and Spanish was heard on camera, shouting "it's your effing job to instil confidence in the team".
Still makes me smile.
5.) 11 Mar 2026 21:47:04
Brilliant, Class. ) ) )
04 Mar 2026 21:40:42
The distraction of the FA Cup couldn't have come at a better time.
We need to get a result on Sunday to restore some confidence throughout the squad!
1.) 05 Mar 2026 09:02:57
So true, Cleggy. Hoping we will revert to 3/5/2 and put on a convincing (positive intent) performance. On the flip side, a loss at home!
Well, let's just win.
03 Mar 2026 21:48:49
I won't swear - I want to but I'll refrain.
That was a poor, poor result but what really gets me is what a bunch of cheating little rats Sunderland are - and the ref fell for it all bloody night!
What an opportunity blown.
We really need Fulham and Man City to do us a couple of favours now - bizarrely they play Hammers and Forest in their next two fixtures.
1.) 03 Mar 2026 22:25:22
I never felt comfortable all day, and feared the outcome that transpired.
We really were off it tonight, so although I feared the worst, it was a very disappointing effort overall.
I concur.
Sunderland came to spoil and stuck to their game plan all night. Ref bought most of the dives and injuries all night.
But, to be honest, we never really threatened even when we were "on top".
02 Mar 2026 18:57:18
I'm not going to say tomorrow night's game is crucial as there are still plenty more to come after it. However, it's one of those where a) three points would go a long way to securing our survival and b) it is one of those games you look at from the beginning of the season and say 'that's a home win'.
Come on lads, put the disappointment of Saturday behind you, play as well as you did in patches for the full 90 minutes and let's leave Forest, Spurs and the Hammers in a state of sheer panic.
MOT tomorrow guys:)
1.) 02 Mar 2026 19:38:23
After so long saying that games don't matter too much as there are more winnable ones ahead, we are finally at the more winnable ones. For me, this means we need to be going out and winning them, securing our safety and then trying to get as high a finish as we possibly can.
2.) 02 Mar 2026 20:18:36
The way we've played against top teams, how we've managed to keep the six-point gap through hard work and determination, we should walk the lower-table teams.
This Leeds team is the best in a generation. Sunderland should be quaking in their boots.
{Ed025's Note - the problem is Mo that the teams down there are fighting for their lives, no easy games in this division mate..
3.) 02 Mar 2026 22:15:48
Bang on, Cleggy.
Three points tomorrow night, and we are more or less safe.
Five more home games, and two, maybe three wins will be enough.
Sunderland, Burnley, Wolves, Brighton, and Brentford are surely enough winnable home games?
Then again, we are Leeds?
4.) 02 Mar 2026 23:42:27
A win tomorrow, as said above, would put us within touching distance of safety. What I would give for a convincing win and not a nerve jangler. And, a goal or two for DCL. We need him to be scoring again.
5.) 03 Mar 2026 07:06:30
If we stifle Xhaka, (or Granit, or whatever his name is and how it's spelt) , I believe we'll get a vital win, and like all of you, I think it's a big game that we should and must win. Under the lights? We got this.
6.) 03 Mar 2026 07:21:37
I'm looking for a spanking. I think, secretly, they will be dreading this game. Cause they know we are capable of putting them in their place with a drubbing. If we can get one in first 10 min, think they will collapse. Be happy with 1-0, mind, but def need the three points.
7.) 03 Mar 2026 08:06:04
I love the 'then again, we are Leeds' comment, Corkey. :)
How very true!
It'll be alright on the night. If you're not going to the game (unfortunately like myself) , then simply hide behind the sofa for a couple of hours and we'll win. Simple. :)
8.) 03 Mar 2026 09:24:08
Nervousness is like a bad haircut; it's only temporary, but it feels like forever.
9.) 03 Mar 2026 09:49:42
I wouldn't know, Class. I haven't had any hair for many a long year. : (
10.) 03 Mar 2026 10:53:38
Cleggy, ? on the plus side, there's none to pull out anymore!
11.) 03 Mar 2026 11:13:11
What Alf said. ?
12.) 03 Mar 2026 13:10:17
What Alf said. And not anybody apart from Class got hair on their head?
13.) 02 Mar 2026 23:30:28
You're right ed, but the teams down there are also rubbish.
{Ed025's Note - i think Wolves and Burnley are already down Mo, West Ham, Forrest, Spurs are fighting for their lives and then you have yourselves and Palace who are just on the cusp, 3 more wins and i think you are safe mate but even though you have a few bottom teams to play i would not take anything for granted, it can still become squeaky bum time..
12 May 2025 14:55:05
Yes please - he'll do nicely.
27 Aug 2024 12:35:23
Wilder blowing a gasket, never:) ) ) ) ) ) )
Oh dear, how sad, never mind:)
31 Jul 2024 17:05:38
Please, no!
19 Jan 2024 14:04:45
You sure that’s not Ryan Kent we are trying to sign Alf?
21 Aug 2023 14:54:00
And make sure there's a loan clause correctly inserted into the contract.
Sorry, previous regime! Just couldn't help myself.
19 Mar 2026 21:58:38
Baz, you're back.
Good to hear from you again.
17 Mar 2026 18:07:51
Too true, Feath.
Let's just hope the decision/s against us this season don't come back to bite us!
15 Mar 2026 19:49:20
Certainly is, Corkey - fingers crossed we'll be okay. :)
15 Mar 2026 09:38:27
As much as I want us to go for it, Aus, I would actually take a draw today v Palace.
It's our home games that we have to win - get three points from at least three of those games and we'll be okay.
The odd draw away from home is a bonus from here on in.
Totally agree, Feath - two up front, DCL and Nmecha. Give the opposition something to think about!
12 Mar 2026 20:41:35
Yes, please, Class.
We just need a win under our belts, and the confidence will start to flow again. Hopefully, our victory (albeit in the Cup against Championship opposition) will be the kick start we need. :)
