Bielsa post match comments are very worrying - he sounds tired and defeated, almost resigned to continued struggles. My bet is he is off back to Argy at end of season.

The form table for last five puts us in bottom 2 of league. That is not stuttering it is total collapse.

Amazing we still have small chance of autos ( c'mon you skyblues)

Playoffs at minimum where we really shouldn't fear anyone - get some confidence back into the boys somehow Farky.

Totally agree 1970 ??.

2.) 28 Apr 2024 20:49:04
It is a shocking stat! ??.

28 Apr 2024 03:06:50
Let's say Tractors lose 1-0 to skyblues thus making there goal difference 8 worse than ours.
We then assume that our shower of sh&*$#te can beat Saints at home by a lucky own goal - thus we are promoted,

But not so fast, this is LUFC and you can bet your life the Tractor boys will trounce the Dog botherers, scoring there 10th and final goal in the 8th minute of injury time.

I am actually not bothered if we go up, at least in this league we can be competitive, in Prem we would have no chance of actually winning owt.

1970 A return to the EPL what we would "win" is superior finances enabling stadium ?️ expansion. We'd have to hope we finish 17th or better. In absence of our ascension, we'll forever be a Championship club possibly vying for promotion each season but watching our talent get snapped up requiring replacements difficult to find and entice. This dynamic would actually render us a mid table Championship club because the likes of Rutter, Gnonto and Summerville will have gone creating a 70 g/ a season void. Let's try "win" our stadium ?️ expansion therefore.

2.) 28 Apr 2024 06:52:46
I don’t think we are able to compete at the top level.
I think our best players will be on their way. With what is left we are certs to come back down.
As much as I hate to say it, think we need another 1 or 2 seasons in champ. Regroup and rebuild and get a settled team ready for the prem.

3.) 28 Apr 2024 08:02:44
Deluded Aus if that's what you think we "need".

4.) 28 Apr 2024 09:03:43
Think having a bigger stadium fixes everything eh.
Only one deluded here matey ?.

5.) 28 Apr 2024 09:21:27
Whilst I think we would currently struggle in the EPL with the current squad, you would hope with the huge increase in revenue, the 49’s would sanction an upgrade on the talent. You would hope lessons would be have been learned from last time.

To be fair, going down last season only occurred because of the total capitulation in the last 10 games. To that point, there had been 5-6 teams worse than us for the most part. Players checked out a long time before the season ended.

It would be no where near as much fun, and we would (as fans) be grieving most of the time, but I think we would survive…at a “Brentford” level if we did go up.

6.) 28 Apr 2024 10:55:56
Leeds do seem to struggle at the last hurdle.
Maybe they should apply for a shorter season, there must be a clause within the Equality Act ??.

7.) 28 Apr 2024 11:02:53
Ani ; to survive at a Brentford level would require a good ( and savvy) coach

More Thomas Frank ( less Farke)

8.) 28 Apr 2024 11:14:01
It a funny of game if we do go up as post above are best players will be gone we stay down they will be gone who do you think that this club can bring in to keep it up in the PL? We are no longer a club any quality players will want to join the only players we seen to get are ones that there club no longer need or don’t play them we will need massive investment which are owners don’t have and yes I know they have billions but on paper.

9.) 28 Apr 2024 11:49:46
Aus, so please elucidate us on the impending SCC (squad cost control rules) and how they don't take into consideration the largest revenue source of all, gate receipts, when determining spending power. What a ??.

10.) 28 Apr 2024 13:08:58
I don’t need to. You made the ridiculous post about bigger stadium etc.
gotta be in mid prem or just wasting money.
I know expanding elland rd a love child of yours Porgie.
But timing is everything. And now it ain’t the time.

11.) 28 Apr 2024 17:16:40
Yeah antipodean. Let's wait until construction costs go up even more along with player valuations.

27 Apr 2024 16:18:43
Baggies losing, if it stays that way Tigers should come out really pumped up. Let's hope tractors take a drubbing tonite.

1.) 27 Apr 2024 17:03:36
Shame Huddersfield lost.

2.) 27 Apr 2024 17:08:47
Ipswich are now as good as up . already . imo

They may lose tonight against Hull

But they will very likely beat a dispirited nowt to play for Coventry

And Ipswich crucially now have a home banker of all home bankers against confirmed relegated Huddersfield who guaranteed will roll over to ensure Leeds don't go up.

I also would not trust this Leeds United team to beat Southampton.

3.) 27 Apr 2024 17:25:47
Baz, I wouldn't be surprised if 2nd place goes down to the last game of the season.
Hull win and Coventry draw = who has the balls next weekend ??.

4.) 27 Apr 2024 17:42:18
What Baz said.

5.) 27 Apr 2024 17:52:10
I’m delighted for you baz. Well done.

6.) 27 Apr 2024 18:14:49
Ipswich have to win one and draw one from the last three. The bookies still give Leeds a 25% chance of 2nd place.

West Brom losing has also moved Ipswich winning tonight from 50% with the bookies to under 40%. It’s far from done.

Southampton have lost 3 on the trot, so whilst we’re in bad form, so are they and we might have something to play for, and they absolutely don’t.

Out of our hands, yes. In Ipswich’s hands, yes. Ipswich already up, not at all.

7.) 27 Apr 2024 18:44:31
Find out soon enough Leeroy

I wouldn't be putting any of your hard earned money on Leeds coming 2nd Brockers . it's a done deal Ipswich will pick up 6 points in next 3 games

Cheers Berma
by the way whilst you lurve to critique Bielsa, KP and Coops . every day
It's very noticeable thay you never or hardly ever criticise Farke or Meslier even after a 4 nil trouncing by lowly QPR.

8.) 27 Apr 2024 18:51:31
Southampton are just resting there players for the playoffs they will be ready to go long before us makes not sense to play them now.

9.) 27 Apr 2024 22:20:25
I think if there is one thing we ALL know about this league, it is that there are zero “banker games”, whether home or away. Shocks can and do happen, and have been happening all this season, and for many season prior to this.
It’s still not over yet, that is for sure!

10.) 27 Apr 2024 23:55:01
This is a belated response, Baz throw us a bone of positivity please mate. It ain't over till the fat lady sings.

11.) 28 Apr 2024 01:32:51
Fat lady was in attendance singing full volume at Blackburn Woody

She also did a standing ovation encore at QPR for the easily pleased.

12.) 28 Apr 2024 10:17:56
I don’t think sport and you mix Baz. The idea is to have hope and belief in what you’re trying to achieve. I’m grateful you weren’t my boxing coach, as I’m sure the towel would’ve hit the mat before the first bell!

13.) 28 Apr 2024 11:22:27
No Bright wrong as usual fella

if your opponent was say a Jimmy Krankey type as opposed to a Mike Tyson type you mat have a chance

And as your boxing coach I can assure you I most certainly NOT be throwing in the towel on your behalf if you were fighting Mike Tyson ? ?.

14.) 28 Apr 2024 11:57:17
Baz I second that ?. No towel throw for any opponent especially if they were a current or former heavyweight champion ?. Do it for ??.

15.) 28 Apr 2024 13:11:28
Georgey ? all towels locked away.

27 Apr 2024 00:12:51

Well he would say that wouldn’t he! I don’t read that much into it, if money is right he will be back to Germany before you can say blitzkrieg.

Please see my post from earlier this week! Of course he knew, no doubt what so ever - question is would he have spent regardless?

Probably not - but as I stated previously we will end up with net profit the window for Radz to siphon off a couple of million for other ventures.

He has been good for Leeds but first and foremost he is a business man looking to make a profit.

Play him while we’ve got him but he does come across as an arrogant egotist. Big fish in little pond, if big boys come with the loot he will fade into obscurity. Look at PHILLIPS, lost years of his career trying to slide in above his level - but then if you were offered his kind of loot wouldn’t you . Summerville is quick and small but a couple of outings against some Italian or German defensive assassins and he will slow down.
