Farke states, and I quote, " we wanted to go through "
I hate being taken for a fool, that's bol&$#ks, if he was serious about going through he wouldn5 have made 10 changes.
1.) 08 Feb 2025 21:18:20
you can make changes and still want to go through.
2.) 09 Feb 2025 12:59:19
He's right, 1970. We did want to go through, we just didn't want to risk our players doing so.
There's an argument to be made that we should have bought more players if injury is such a concern, but that's by the by.
3.) 09 Feb 2025 14:09:23
MOTagain 100%.
4.) 12 Feb 2025 09:03:49
Farke vindicated after last night? Resting the squad seemed to work like a charm.

1970 we need to get through promotion which has just got harder we could be two pints behind come Monday night.

Bielsa post match comments are very worrying - he sounds tired and defeated, almost resigned to continued struggles. My bet is he is off back to Argy at end of season.

Back to the relegation fight - I think it's fair to assume we will get 4 more points minimum leaving us on 43, nd that's probably pessimistic even for me. That Wouk leave spuds needing 12 from last 5.
Highly unlikely I would think!
Don't particularly dislike spuds but it woul$ be good to see one of the so called big boys suffer the indignity.
1.) 21 Apr 2026 00:58:56
Too bloody many London teams in the PL, so getting shot of Spuds or Spam would be good. For that and other reasons, please no promotion for Millwall.
12 Apr 2026 13:59:20
If florists and spuds both - which I think they will - then the DoorDash we are in is infinitely worse and we must become favorite of the 4 left to drop. Or am I just being pessimistic?
1.) 12 Apr 2026 15:16:38
On current form, it's us & Spurs on poorest. If they get a result today, we are officially in a pickle, which, by the way, I always felt we would slide down this far.
Next Saturday is colossal for us.
2.) 12 Apr 2026 15:36:33
On the flip side, Spuds lose, we win tomorrow and next Saturday, happy days.
3.) 12 Apr 2026 16:01:19
That would be massive six points, Davey!
Let's hope your footie predictions are far more accurate than your Masters golf prediction.
4.) 12 Apr 2026 16:14:15
Lol, Baz, you minx. ? Sitting at 4 under and I have him to finish top 10, so hoping for a dazzling last round.
5.) 12 Apr 2026 16:21:47
Look on the bright side, Vid. McIlroy is sharing the lead on -11.
6.) 12 Apr 2026 16:43:10
Well, should have an idea how it's gonna go after the first JR, Brooks has bogied it every day so far. ??
7.) 12 Apr 2026 17:04:31
I was hoping for Rose, and at -8 he's still in with a shout.
8.) 12 Apr 2026 17:13:24
Rose is playing great, JR. If you look, each day there are some really low scores. Someone is gonna hit around 65. Who is the question, lol?
9.) 12 Apr 2026 17:39:14
Lowry hopefully Vid, have a couple of sheckles on him.
10.) 12 Apr 2026 20:52:10
Sorry lads, but golf betting is the biggest mugs game of all sports.
100-150 odd runners, the market is purely in the bookies favour.
I had a nifty on Koepka!

When we look back on the season I think the Sunderland loss is one of the most difficult to stomach and will hopefully not prove to be the catastrophic one that leads to our demise.
1.) 12 Apr 2026 00:59:53
Yep, that game; defeat with a needlessly defensive team line up sucked big time. Not beating, at the time, an understrength, out of form Sunderland at home.
Can't help wishing Sheffield United had won the playoffs, not Sunderland.
As Sheffield Utd would have very likely, imo, joined Burnley and Wolves in going down on around 20 to 25 points, with therefore no relegation battle angst for Leeds United players, owners and fans.
2.) 12 Apr 2026 09:00:43
I don't believe one game defines your season. There are thirty games to play, and it's how you perform in all these games that will determine the club's fate at the end of the season.
3.) 12 Apr 2026 12:04:06
Agree OP, it is over the season, but that performance against Sunderland stank the place out.
4.) 12 Apr 2026 12:17:21
As OP says, it is the sum of your performances over 38 games that is all. You can point to games such as Sunderland, plus the away matches at Burnley and Brighton, and even games where we have not capitalised on dominance. But it is futile.
It is how we react that's important. Fear of relegation creates a need to apportion blame, such as injuries in the cup. But, if you are gonna fear what has not yet happened, it's pretty pointless taking part in any competition or even getting out of bed. ?
5.) 12 Apr 2026 18:52:31
Like it's pointless to have an opinion. ?♂️
6.) 12 Apr 2026 22:53:47
It's called football banter or debate Whiteman, something I'm afraid that you are completely and utterly devoid of.?♂️
10 Apr 2026 22:31:53
Lordy lord, I hope we don’t have to go to
London needing points.
1.) 11 Apr 2026 05:48:19
Need to be safe before spam.
2.) 11 Apr 2026 07:57:47
May both need a point to stay up. That would be an interesting watch, especially if we could get a message through to agent Cree.
3.) 11 Apr 2026 10:04:09
I felt that could be a scenario about 2 months ago. I certainly wouldn't fancy us in a 1 off game with so much pressure. They definitely have better flair players than us, albeit very strange how their own season has descended into this.
4.) 11 Apr 2026 12:52:13
They did spend big in the January window, which has given them a boost.
5.) 11 Apr 2026 20:59:07
Imagine the uproar if us and Spammers played out a lame, timid goal-less draw to both stay up and condemn Spuds to the drop. I'm pretty sure the PL and FA would throw the book at us both as hard as possible.
09 Apr 2026 01:02:03
OP - Why is it so important and seemingly all consuming for you that some fans question whether Farke should be in or out. He’s in for now - will one day be gone.
Everybody has a view point, they may be right or maybe wrong but your childish shots at everybody who may or may not have said something in the past is pathetic - just why is someone else’s view that important to you?
1.) 09 Apr 2026 08:14:14
It's just a question, likewise if it doesn't interest you you can bypass it, others like Chris, Cork, Alf and Baz have responded and like I've already said, I appreciate their clarity on this important subject of our club.
You however 1970 are one of those very irritating posters on here who can't be straight with what he would like to happen with Daniel Farke this summer.
I don't care who is right or wrong about whether Farke stays or goes, it's just so typical when we win a game, posters like yourself suddenly go quite about their condemnations of our coach.
I find it two faced and very irritating to read constantly on here, it's also very difficult to scroll past as it consumes most of the threads.
I'm just being honest, you don't like what I post? don't read it!
2.) 09 Apr 2026 11:49:43
For clarity - I have never opined on whether Farke should be in or out, but will now - he should be gone at the end of the season. (that's pretty straight, me thinks) .
It is your perseveration on the topic which is alarming - we won't be making the decision; the powers that be will, making our thoughts moot.
Anyway, onwards and, hopefully, upwards, and to be clear, downwards is OK too. My support will not diminish either way.
3.) 09 Apr 2026 12:36:32
1970, He's never happy with any ones opinion, ends his posts with it is only my opinion condescending or what, it's his way or you get it, ?♂️?♂️
4.) 09 Apr 2026 13:31:16
Summat to talk about, isn't it, and opinions can change throughout the season.
5.) 09 Apr 2026 13:15:47
Agree white and 70. Guys a fruitloop.
Probably a bully at school. Now tries to goad an argument out of adults.
Opti. My post mate. Don't read it.
6.) 09 Apr 2026 13:54:06
Ausman, you hit it in one mate. ????
7.) 09 Apr 2026 14:14:16
Bully at school, I like that Aus, considering you know absolutely nothing about me, that's very presumptuous of you.
Well at least it got you habitual moaners having some real spirit and saying what you really mean, even if it's slagging me off, it's at least a start, instead of your constant two faced posts on here.
Why not show how much you really care about your club and be honest for once.
8.) 09 Apr 2026 16:25:34
I disagree 1970, the fans have a big say if they don't like their coach, David Moyes at West Ham is a good example.
If the large majority of Leeds fans display their discontent, especially with a coach, it can lead to the dismissal of him and keep the seat paying natives happy.
At the end of the day, you blokes who just prefer to insult me because it's the easier option to having an opinion all of your own, instead of recycling and repeating someone else's garbage.
Carry on if that's as much as your own thoughts can expand on our football club, I honestly couldn't care less.
9.) 09 Apr 2026 22:32:18
The post suggests you do care, though. The first paragraph is a fair point, however.
10.) 10 Apr 2026 08:28:33
1970, not sure I follow your response that my post suggests that I care about Daniel Farke?
It's very important that we hold on to Farke for next season if we avoid relegation. Changing coach on that success, in my mind, will be a disaster for the club, and I can't see them under any circumstances getting rid of him.
Why some fans see that getting rid of him if we stay up is completely bewildering and illogical to me.
16 Apr 2024 03:20:41
Well he would say that wouldn’t he! I don’t read that much into it, if money is right he will be back to Germany before you can say blitzkrieg.
07 Aug 2023 15:42:27
I can't even say it, let alone sing it!
02 May 2023 15:45:56
With you on this one AUS - I assume Sam will be on a good "bung" if he somehow keeps us up.
17 Jun 2022 23:09:14
Please see my post from earlier this week! Of course he knew, no doubt what so ever - question is would he have spent regardless?
Probably not - but as I stated previously we will end up with net profit the window for Radz to siphon off a couple of million for other ventures.
He has been good for Leeds but first and foremost he is a business man looking to make a profit.
20 Apr 2026 21:58:36
Thanks for understanding, Corkey.
20 Apr 2026 21:27:35
No, no, and finally no.

Agree with Vid. No one expects owt from next four games anyway - maybe new guy comes in and instills a bit of passion and urgency in the team and we subsequently nick a few points.
One thing for sure is that it is highly unlikely with present leader.
